After 16, I basically lived in their house for free until 18, at which point, I was at University and effectively forgotten about. When I came back for holidays, I had to pay rent. When I came back to live post-university, I paid rent until they wanted to kick me out for arguing with my stepmother after I babysat and she had promised to drop me off somewhere but decided she couldn't be bothered after they'd had their fun. Now I live in a completely different country and part of the world. When I go back, the love is there, but there lives are so... centralised around the family that it's kinda sad. My parents look after my sister's children, which they adamently vowed they'd never do. -
If they have one proper game showcase, I'll be impressed. That's how low expectations for these events are. Anything that shows direct gameplay footage, really. -

Considering that both Persona 3 Reload and Metaphor ReFantazio were officially unveiled for the first time in an Xbox Games Showcase (albeit both at the same one, in June 2023's), next Sunday's XGS would be my educated guess on where the Persona 4 Remake will turn up. Unless Atlus have decided they stopped liking Game Pass money or Xbox have figured out JRPGs don't do much for them or their service, that is. Think a potential Nintendo Direct is probably the second most likely place (because Switch 2 + JRPG + Japanese market = crazy money), and then I'd say Summer Game Fest at third. Weirdly I think it's more likely the Direct gets a ReFantazio and/or Persona 3 Reload port announcement instead of Persona 4 Remake. I'd be shocked at this point if Persona 4 Remake was shown first at a PlayStation event (Persona 6, eventually, I could see them wanting, though) because I don't think they've marketed a single mainline Persona as one of their headline State of Play/Showcase/etc. announcements since Persona 5, right? That relationship seems to have changed. I don't think we see Persona 6 until next year at the earliest. I'd love to be wrong, obviously, but it feels like it's been radio silent since that colour "tease" we had a good while back (which in fairness could've just been the fanbase going too far with speculation, so) -

I’m hoping for a Persona 4 Remake or Persona 6 announcement somewhere. Guess it depends if Atlus fall under SEGA on the appearance list. -
Hype trailer for Summer Game Fest this Friday, starting at 22:00 BST: Real chance for some great surprises between this and the Xbox Showcase next Sunday! Would love to be surprised by the next Armored Core, just saying Geoff!
