Ellmeister Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 High School Musical 3 (4th viewing)Uncontrollable laughter/10. Captivity Shit. 2/10 TWhere do you get the money to see the film 4 times? Thats crazy. thats dedication.
Slaggis Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 TWhere do you get the money to see the film 4 times? Thats crazy. thats dedication. Haha, I just love it so much. If I know I'm going to have a great time, I don't mind spending the money to see it. If it wasn't a musical, I wouldn't be able to watch it that many times in the space of two weeks. But because of the songs being so catchy etc, it's hard not too.
nightwolf Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Hound of the baskervilles I'm an avid fan of old movies, but I always take a while to get into them, I watched this when I was in high school and I still really like it. Classic film really! 9/10
Konfucius Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Quantum of Solace A very good action movie but where is everything else? No character development whatsoever and it lacked the typical Bond feeling. The dialogue also seems slightly out of place. It always tries to be too meaningful. The motives and moves by the villains were a very good idea but they could have done a lot more with those. Somehow this movie feels a bit like watching deleted scenes. Still nice to watch but a bit unnecessary. 6.5/10
Paj! Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 Eraserhead Wow. Just wow. This is already one of my favourite films ever...just unbelievable. The use of sound in this is genius, and creates a film that is so fucking scary and terrible (in the actual meaning of the word), despite the subject matter not being "scary". It seems to evoke that feeling you'd have if you woke up to everything in your house having been changed, moved around, and no one noticing except you. Can't explain it. My mind is most definitely in distrubia, though. 10/10

It's such a headfuck and really does leave you questioning just what the fuck you just witnessed.
MadDog Posted November 8, 2008 Posted November 8, 2008 The Notebook Not sure why i watched this :S I usually hate romance films but what the hey It was average, not bad to watch 6.5/10

Loved it though, but it was a true headfuck, not just a film with interesting imagery that claims to be one.
EEVILMURRAY Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Quantom Of Solace Never saw Casino Royale so was pretty excited to see this, especially because last week I watched Goldeneye, Goldeneye and a couple of others Bonds. What did I think of this? Well, I liked it. Alot actually. Thought Craig was a great Bond aswell. That said, one thing that annoyed me was the camera work. I dunno, it made some of the action scenes very annoying to watch because you could barely tell what was going on. All in all though, it was a great watch! Must definately go out and get Casino Royale now! 8/10 Did you watch the other Bonds twice as well?
Paj! Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 There Will Be Blood I was enraptured by this movie. And looking back, on paper it could sure sound boring. Stunning and stark masterpiece. 10/10
nightwolf Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Jumanji Love love love this film. Always a good film to watch and robin williams is a classic just like in mrs doubtfire. 10/10
Slaggis Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Futurama: Benders Game Another great futurama movie, just like the previous two. Hopefully when the last one comes out next year, they'll make a new, proper series. The story was good, though it did begin to get a little tedious half way through. It managed to pick back up though, and in the end was rather good. The moment with the Polar bear was epic. 8
Wesley Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Natural Born Killers Forgot how much I love this movie. Ah, and as for NCFOM: the ending was beautiful. Before the (thing at the end) came you felt it... you knew it was coming. It was beautiful.

Stunning and stark masterpiece. 10/10 Glad to see you enjoyed it. I think it's one of the best films in years. Plenty of people don't though. Have you seen Magnolia? same director and very, very, very good.
Happenstance Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 New series starting/has started on Sky One. Yet to see this movie, want to That new series is just the movies broken up though, we need a proper new series

I've only seen the first film, so I think I'll watch them all serialised instead. May get more bang for my buck.

Have you seen Magnolia? same director and very, very, very good. No, but it's a film I keep seeing mentioned as being amazing. I don't really know how anyone could not appreciate TWBB...it was literally amazing.
Dan_Dare Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 I know. People, eh? Yeah, Magnolia is amazing. Epic about coincidence or fate in a series of tales from across LA about seemingly unconnected people. It's hard to explain, but it's amazing.
jayseven Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Short Cuts is where it's at, dudes. A grossly overlooked movie by Robert Altman based on a series of Raymond Carver short stories. It might be over three hours long, but it has Robert Downey Jr in :P
Slaggis Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Baby Mama Tina Fey is great, and she didn't disappoint. The story was great, and Amy (her second name escapes me) was pretty damn funny as the annoying surrogate. 7.5
Ashley Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Poehler. Or something like that. I can't remember how to spell it but something like that. Will Arnett's (=win) wife. Been wanting to watch that for ages but never got round to it.
D_prOdigy Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 007: Question of Sport Marc Forster: Spanked bottom, send to bed, no supper.
Beast Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 High School Musical 3: Senior Year Second time I've seen this and I enjoyed it even more. Better than the last two and the songs are great. I like 'Can I have this dance?' and 'Walk away', great tracks. 8/10 Dead Set Tis brilliant, just love the idea of there being a zombie outbreak all over the world and the only people not having an idea of it are the contestants in Big Brother, haha. 9/10 Donkey Punch W...T...F?! The first half was quite good, but then the second half just got a little ridiculous. 6/10 Silent Hill Even though I'm not exactly a big fan of the Silent Hill games, I actually really liked this movie. The storyline was quite good, the acting was great and I love the monsters in it. 7/10
Kirkatronics Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Has anyone seen "The Happening"? Personally i loved it but most of my friends hated it.
