Glen-i Posted September 28, 2022 Author Posted September 28, 2022 Another new Pokémon reveal. I'd post the clips, but I'm on my crummy Wi-Fi, so I can only load a screenshot without risking losing a month waiting. Despite the misleading subtitles, this isn't a Paldean Diglett, but it's classified as a new Pokémon entirely, with some sort of connection to Diglett. It's called Wiglett. No, really, it is.

Ike Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 Does it evolve into WigTrio? We already have Alolan Dugtrio.

Jonnas Posted September 28, 2022 Posted September 28, 2022 Diglett pre-evolution, I assume? Disclaimer: Rest assured, we do not have white larvae with red noses digging around in our Iberian beaches. We do have sand fleas though, but they look nothing like that.
Glen-i Posted September 29, 2022 Author Posted September 29, 2022 4 hours ago, Jonnas said: Diglett pre-evolution, I assume? I wouldn't put my money on that either. It'd be weird for it to lose the ability to stretch on evolution.
Ashley Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 Maybe it's stretchiness remains under the surface. After all, we know Dugtrio is secretly huge 1
bob Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 I reckon it's a Pokemon that has evolved to have a diglett looking lure on the end of its tail, and the rest of the huge pokemon is hidden beneath the sand, ready to explode out and attack.

MindFreak Posted September 29, 2022 Posted September 29, 2022 Wiglett is now officially revealed, it's a Water type with the ability Gooey / Rattled.

Jonnas Posted September 30, 2022 Posted September 30, 2022 Alright, seeing as Wigletts are apparently meant to be (or just resemble) Garden Eels, it's time I talked a bit about their presence and influence in Iberia. Spoiler We don't have them. I have no fucking idea what a Garden Eel is. So yeah, hope that helped. 1

EEVILMURRAY Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 I hope they have decided to get rid of the stupid hats. Or at least not have them from the off.

I assume you mean the type indicators used with the Terastal mechanic? If so, that's not happening, far too late in development to change that, and it provides a purpose in letting you know what type a Terastalised Pokémon is.

I've been there with Sword/Shield, the default outfit is so crummy there, I think it was done on purpose to get people to wear anything else.
MindFreak Posted October 6, 2022 Posted October 6, 2022 14 minutes long trailer! But the last 5 minutes are skippable as they are just about customisation of trainer and bonding with Pokémon through baths and food. Farigiraf is funny.
