No doubt you were wrong @Beast @WackerJr @darksnowman another season of The Circle, go again and report back your feels. 1

CrowingJoe79 Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 Are there any good road horror movies on Netflix at the moment? I like ones about couples being stalked in the middle of nowhere. So I mean ones like I Know What You Did Last Summer, for example.
MindFreak Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Didn't realise Cobra Kai season 6 was a three parter. That disappoints me very much. So I am up to date with the last season and I have enjoyed it, but especially so once I started seeing the show as a live action anime. Everything makes more sense as an anime. Especially how they ended part 2, that was so much over the top that it was enjoyable.

I'm not sure it's worked out for them. I don't think the viewing numbers have been that great for it and there has been very little conversation online about it, probably due to many opting to wait. I think Netflix plan to do the same with the next series of Stranger Things as well.
MindFreak Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 Yeah, I would have waited had I known there would be a part 3 before starting. And I would have waited had I initially known there would be a part 2 and 3.
Ashley Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Has anyone else watched A Man on the Inside? It's billed as a comedy and it definitely has comedic moments but one of those "more heart then belly laughs" kind of shows. Was interesting to see Stephanie Beatriz in something else as I knew she wasn't like Rosa (nor sounded like her) but other than an episode of One Day at a Time this is all I'd seen her in and she was very different. A much warmer, more caring character. She did a really good job in the role. Think I'll give it a rewatch at some point.
FalcoLombardi Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Arcane is great. Season 2 isn't as good as Season 1, but it's still good.
WackerJr Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 Well that wasn’t on my bingo card! What is it, 28 years after the original? I wonder if they’ll copy the ridiculousness of the original and concerned about whether they can recapture the popularity of it. Saying that, I’ll still be watching this regardless! 😄
Jonnas Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 (edited) Normally, when it comes to "So bad, it's good" films, it can be hard to recognize them at first. The first time we watch them, they're just bad. But for once, I think I caught one such film on my first viewing. I watched Carry-On on Netflix during the holidays, a Thriller in the style of "Phone Booth". I expected a passable blockbuster, and instead I got the dumbest movie I've seen all year. A fun film to laugh at. On 12/1/2024 at 10:21 AM, Ashley said: Has anyone else watched A Man on the Inside? I think I'm highly receptive to these light-hearted, good-natured shows at this point. As a bonus, this was a "whodunnit" (or "whohasdonethis") that legitimately caught me by surprise. Always nice to see those. (Incidentally, the weirdest role I've ever seen from Stephanie Beatriz is this) After this series, a cousin recommended The Kominsky Method, starring Michael Douglas as an old acting coach. Definitely a darker sort of humour, but I'm really enjoying it so far. Edited December 30, 2024 by Jonnas

So she played a sister to Sofía Vergara, a cousin to Justina Machado (and Melissa Fumero) and had Gina Rodriguez as a romantic interest. I think she might be the Kevin Bacon of 2010/2020s Latina actors. 1
CrowingJoe79 Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Netflix and Prime put asses in chairs.
