Posted March 14, 2011 (edited) enjoy can be an intransitive verb The only time I can think of is if you say enjoy to someone, after giving them food or something, but it is implied that you want them to enjoy the food. Otherwise I think it is purely transitive. Not that I mind too much. Writing should give off a personality/mood.
