jayseven Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Got my passport in mega-quick time There's a sticker on the back page that says "remove this sticker" so I did and there's a silver thing on the back of the sticker, not on the passport. That's normal right? Oh! And I got pulled aside along with one other person out of 30 people and got told we're being kept on next week, which was unexpected but great to be told I'm doing well.

Mr_Odwin Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST Third time lucky, roflcopters. Move bitches, get out the whey. Massive congrats!
ReZourceman Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 @Magnus made this! I am speechless. Unbelievably good.
gaggle64 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 That's so good it's actually slightly bizarre.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Magnus has outdone himself! I can now totally picture you in the Postman Pat universe.
MoogleViper Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 I can now totally picture you in the Postman Pat universe. Really? You can imagine ReZ in a children's show?
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Really? You can imagine ReZ in a children's show? I know, it's insane. But this version of him looks so innocent.
Jimbob Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Congrats Paj and i-paul on your success. Will have a look at Magnus's creation as it were back at home. Idiotic machine won't display pictures too well, if at all.
Wesley Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Let me describe it to you. It's ReZ, except not the usual ReZ. It doesn't sting your eyes to look at. And there is a small environment surrounding ReZ. But where as ReZ usually makes his surroundings feel a little filthy, this ReZ looks at ease with his beautiful surroundings. In fact, don't think of it as ReZ, it kind of ruins it when you do.
jayseven Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Today went in and we basically got the day's target in 3 hours, and as it was the last day of the campaign we were allowed to go home early with a full day's pay! Huzzah!
Wesley Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 And now you're taking me out for a nice meal, yeah?
Ellmeister Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Congrats to people on their driving and Jayseven for his half day! :p
Goafer Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Quote of the day: *Talking about food* "You know those Indians you get in a bag?" "Like the ones as Guantanamo Bay?"

jayseven Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 And now you're taking me out for a nice meal, yeah? By nice meal, we're talking belly-button fluff and toenail clippings, yeah? That's the sort of thing I imagine you feast on, in between facebook stalks and wiping your nose on your sleeve. And by going out you mean drawing stick-men in place of ourselves, acting out sexual obscenities which we then fax each other... Then yeah, man, be there at 7.
Wesley Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 I'm not cool with the first part. I'm down with the second though.
Will Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Finally after 9 months of waiting I got a new work laptop. I can operate at a normal level.
Mr-Paul Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 A very good couple of days, journalistically especially. So I spent the first half of my reading week pretty unproductively. My computer broke (but is now fixed again) and I spent the first half of the week sorting that. I then needed to get down to work on my radio piece about FEMALE COMEDY. I ended up interviewing the head of an organisation called FUNNY WOMEN yesterday, which was epic, got 14 mins of auido interview and she was really nice and bought me coffee and put me on the guestlist for their show next thursday, and put me in contact with her husband who is the head of the Music Producers' Guild. Could get some good contacts and interviews out of that. Today was a good day because I did a presentation in my technology specialism class that included DO A BARREL ROLL, then I went to a small comedy gig on the South Bank, headlined by Andi Osho of Mock the Week etc. fame who I heckled and she heckled back, calling me too much of a chatterbox, frankie cocozza and gay among other things. I THEN TOOK A CHANCE AND ASKED HER FOR AN INTERVIEW AND GOT ONE And it was amazing. I'm fucking winning at my radio class this year. She was so nice. So I celebrated with multiple glasses of white wine, and ended up with 20 Chicken McNuggests. Have saved five for breakfast. Gonna be the best thing ever.
DomJcg Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 It might be difficult teaching, but when you see the kids learning, it makes it all worth it
ReZourceman Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Chicken McNugget share boxes are the shit.
Raining_again Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 I am very likely getting a payrise and a considerable backpay (4 years worth ha ha)... yesss. <3
Retro_Link Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Chicken McNugget share boxes are the shit. What's a share box? As in someone else is having half your McNuggets, or McD's version of a KFC snack box?
