nightwolf Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 My style as I was younger didn't change all that much, I went froma blunt fringe with long hair to a sweeping fringe. I miss that hoodie, think my sister stole it, grr. But then yeah, as you all know I cut my hair off a couple of years ago now and I've not really wanted to have long hair since.
Nolan Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 1998: And continues. You were the spy 9 years before the spy. Hmmm hair...well it just sort of grows out of the top of my head, and occasionally gets trimmed. I suppose the style would be don't care.
Eenuh Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Awwwww, very nice pics Eenuh. Its almost like pokemon evolution! Meaning I become Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger? =D Audio And more awesome of course. Nightwolf: I think the short hair suits you a lot better. It goes very well with your face shape and facial features. =)
Falcon_BlizZACK Posted February 26, 2010 Author Posted February 26, 2010 Meaning I become Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger? =D Audio And more awesome of course. LMAOOO to the music! Yes to all the above! : peace:
dan-likes-trees Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Also I want your T&S tshirt -- Mine has stayed pretty much the same over the last two years. i once had a classic 'bowl cut' but lack the photos, sadly. 2008 And now slightly longer but effectively the same. I keep a fringe due to biggness of forehead. 2010 But alas my fringe always parts embarrassingly in real life. Also I have a general fear of hairdressers so rarely get it cut.
Oxigen_Waste Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I don't really give a fuck about it. Who cares?
Eddage Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) I don't really give a fuck about it. Who cares? Well according to the replies at least 14 people... I'd imagine more people care about this thread then they do about the fact that you don't care. Edited February 26, 2010 by Eddage
Eenuh Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I don't really give a fuck about it. Who cares? It's just fun seeing how weird people looked back in the day. Especially Odwin. =P Also, this thread is nothing without picturesssss.
Oxigen_Waste Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 Well according to the replies at least 14 people... I'd imagine more people care about this thread then they do about the fact that you don't care. I think you missed my point. What I meant was, who really wastes time with their hair? (except the ladies, of course) I'm all for this thread, I quite liked Odwin's odyssey of hair! I was just remarking that most guys probably don't really care that much about their hair.

Then you definitely haven't met Jim yet. He spends aaaages on his hair, and is always asking me how it looks etc. =P All I really do with my hair is dry it and brush it after a shower haha. Raining_again Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I get bored with my hair so I change it a lot. Short, long, pink, white, blue, whatever. I'm tempted to get a number 2 all over and like bleach it some rad colour, but i fear it may look a bit shite
Charlie Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 (edited) I think you missed my point. What I meant was, who really wastes time with their hair? (except the ladies, of course)I'm all for this thread, I quite liked Odwin's odyssey of hair! I was just remarking that most guys probably don't really care that much about their hair. A lot of people care about their hair, especially men. It's a definitive thing about a person which always gets noticed so its good to have decent hair to give a good impression. Think of it like clothes... If you go into a job interview wearing jeans and a tshirt there's no chance you're getting the job but if you wear a suit you're in with a chance.... If you go with bad, unkempt hair they automatically judge you on it without even consciously thinking about it. Here's me over the past couple of years, since I first got Facebook... July 2007, braces, eww. 4 years ago. Really like that hair, never got it like that... I call it the saltwater, drying in wind look. Just after I'd left school, 3 years ago, gelled up fringe... What was I thinking? Beginning of uni, 2 1/2 years ago. Beginning of last year. Zante, last Summer. Didn't like my hair abck then... A wee bit too long. End of that Summer Recentish I'll try and lookout some photos of me from early school days but I don't think I have any on this computer. I think my progression of hair has been quite good from those photos. That last photo isn't great but its pretty similar to what my hair's like. Edited February 26, 2010 by Charlie
Coolness Bears Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 At the moment I look like this: But i want to evolve into this: :p *lulz immensely* These Pokemon GET ME EVERYTIME. There are limited pictures of me online but I've gone from long to short to LONG. I basically like my hair long but have to keep getting it cut previously because of school but now because of work because no one wants a paraguyan BEAST brandishing his hair into their popcorn. Me in the summer at the meet: Me the other day: or should I say RARE PHOTO ALERT :p Smiling just seems so out dated, kindness just a thing of the past... TEARS ARE WHAT WE DO NOW! Generally not fussed what my hair looks like though.
Dannyboy-the-Dane Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I care more about my hair than I want to ... I have no old photos online at the moment, and I'm too lazy to find any. Luckily (or not), for most of my life, I always opted for the very plain, flat, Lego-man-like hair, so it's not hard to find even not-old photos with that hairstyle. In the last few years, I've usually let my hair follow its natural pattern in which it spirals to the left (this pattern is also a little visible on the flat hair image above). It's especially visible from this top-down angle.
ReZourceman Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I went from generic childs hair to dweeby-side-parting-that-didn't-do-any-favours for many many dark years. Then in college I discovered "gel" and pretty much had this style for several years. And more recently I tend to cut it really rather short and gel it... And just leave it until it gets quite "long" and use go-matt-clay. (go-matt-clay is a life saver and is massive win) Final note; I must admit I think I have quite a good hair line. Especially the top side bits. But I now want to digivolve like Coolness has, into "indy" hair, so I'm currently not cutting it. PS I have also been known to sport the odd head-attire. (Beware epic Riddler crotch)
Ashley Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I suppose the kind of length it is now is the default but I quite like these from the past: Its ridiculous, but I like it. Wish I could grow it back. Also quite like that. And at its most stylised and Ellmeister like: I'm getting it cut tomorrow actually, wait and see! Oh and because its always needed:
Daft Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 I have no control over my hair. It is a law unto itself...and not in a good way.
The Bard Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 To quote a wise man: "Only that which has no history can be defined" Therefore, I'm bound to give, to the burden of thine eyes, a genealogy of mine hair. This is one of my favourite ones Dyed red (although faded) and fairly longish: I don't think this haircut went down well. Or it could have been something else =p. I guess I like it fairly short, but enough so that I can make it look pretentiously messy... not like a damn crew cut teebs. Also: Modwin has to be the most awesome person ever.
Goafer Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 (edited) Boyhood hair: Stuck with that until the start of sixth form, when I started the "up" stage. No pictures, but imagine Wayne Static but normal length. Then grew my hair long (AKA the "What the fuck was I thinking?" phase). Really long. This is the only picture I can find (Christ, I was a fat fucker): I think it was longer before I got it all cut off. I did take a picture of my ponytail after it had been cut off (the barber literally ponytailed it, then cut it off. He waved it around like in The Last Samurai), but I can't find it. Edit: Found it!: Now it stays around this length: I'm hopefully getting it cut tomorrow, so imagine it about half that length and you've got it. I get a lot cut off, but not very often. Cheaper that way! Edited February 27, 2010 by Goafer
Charlie Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 And just leave it until it gets quite "long" and use go-matt-clay. (go-matt-clay is a life saver and is massive win) Matte clay is good but isn't anywhere near as good as Fudge Matte Hed!
ReZourceman Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 Fudge is expensive and I'm a cheapskate.
jayseven Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 So I grew up having rubbish parent-cuts-fringe hair, got mushroom cuts and everything, then at some point I dyed my hair blue, then a mixture of colours. The bleach lasted ages, and my 'trademark' sweep emo curl fringe thing came into being... ... Which grew out after a year of ill attention... And led to a montage of various cuts/bleaches/dyes/growths that I have surprisingly little record of. I can't seem to find a pic of my green hair, for example, so here's a little anthology, according to facebook. I've not had the same haircut twice since I was 17... (the next picture is taken mid-allergy reaction!) (Next picture has DomCJ in the background, or whatever his name is/was) This thread is nice because it's allowed me to remind myself just how much stuff I've actually done in the last few years Also, I think my facial hair is a factor in my picture choices!
MoogleViper Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 I'd say these two are the best hair dos.
