Went out last night and well ermm... yeah... awful...

It didn't start off badly. We went from the gym to Tesco to get some pre-match supplies and so we had a couple of tipples before we got up town.

So the evening was going well enough but the last place we went to, there was this one person who would not leave me alone. And me being too nice, I couldn't bring myself to tell her to get lost but I did say she was wasting her time. Unfortunately, the people she was out with are mates of my mates and so we were stuck in the same vicinity for far too long.

She kept trying to kiss me but I managed to fend her off but either way, it just got me more and more wound up. I've not been that anger in some time and I kept drinking more as a result. I was feeling pretty iffy when we first got in there and my mate was telling me to not have anymore but this was quite a sobering experience and not one I dare repeat. There was one person in that group of girls though who was doing her best to save me from her but even she couldn't be there all the time and the annoying one sent a text to this other girls husband saying she was up to stuff with me - that's the kind of nut job I'm talking about.

So we all left the club about 3 and I was absolutely livid by this point. It was then decided that we would all go the casino and my mate grabbed my hand and pretty much dragged me there whilst I punched various things I walked past that wasn't made of flesh.

We got inside the place and at this point I'd just had enough - I'm not a gambling person in the slightest and being drunk just lessened my interest further. So I since I was at the back of our line of people, I just turned around and walked out as I'd had enough and just wanted to go home.

So I went in subway as I needed to get something in order to keep a promise to a friend but I could hardly taste the thing when I ate it so the 20 minute wait or whatever it was (it might have been even longer) wasn't worth it.

And since I decided I wasn't going to spend another penny, I made the choice to walk home. Now this was stupid for a couple of reasons. First of all, it's a 5 mile trek and being somewhat intoxicated was only going to make it seem longer. Second, the shoes I had on have a hard leather sole and walking on floors that aren't smooth is quite uncomfortable after a short while - you can feel everything. Third, it was freezing cold thanks to both the time and the fact I was walking into a quite strong headwind. And fourth, it was raining and so I got soaked.

And so I got home about 5 this morning.

That really is something I don't want to go through again.

Oh, yeah, and I never realised until now that my aunt is a doctor that specialises in genetics / genetic deformities, I always knew she was a doctor, but I assumed she was a GP or something.

Really weird/interesting to find out. Quite controversial too; she advises people whether to get abortions and stuff.

You promised you'd eat a certain Sub?

I promised I'd try a chicken teriyaki the next time I went. They said it was their favourite but having never tried it, I said the next time I go, that's what I would have. And it may have been some 4 months ago I said that, but I never forgot I said I would.

Eeep sounds rough, all a learning experience eh?

Despite my many years on this world, as you know better than most, I've still an awful lot to learn - it is just that that was an awful way to learn.

I've got no doubt its not funny now, but hopefully you can look back and laugh at it being a good learning experience =)

Just because you've got a lot to learn (do you?) it doesn't make you a bad person, at all.

Well normally when my mate goes in a sulk because it happens to him, we just take the mick out of him all night and the next day. But now I know how it feels and consequently I feel a bit of a git. I'll never give him stick over it again.

Comedy Rainbow took ages to do today. :( It will make me (more) sad (than usual) if people hate this episode. It features a few "special effects" one that worked, one that half worked. With practise comes knowledge.

I am really going to try and start BSG tomorrow. But want to watch The Hangover too.

My Scarborough Fair arrived! (Bayonettas gun) and is quite heavy/I am not let down by its quality (albeit not perfect) but yeah pretty happy. :)

And I learnt a bit more about Vegas. On the downside I learnt my PC can't exactly handle it and is a bit shit, which is annoying. If I were to upgrade it to make it quicker/handle more multi-tasking, what would I need specifically tech-folks? Teh RAMz?

I can't explain how much I adore KFC. We had it yesterday and they do a new milkshake with massive bits in and a huge straw (the straw is FUCKING awesome, makes you drink normal drinks in like two sips, and feel like a man. Its epicana). But the milkshake...I had Oreo flavour. It was numtastic.

Bah. The world hates me.

Went out with the female again today. Took Jay's advice and went shopping. From the start she seemed a little uninterested, wasn't sure what it was, but she seemed like she didn't really want to be there so nothing really happened. My parents informed me just now that they are going out tonight and won't be back till late. I figured it was a good chance to determine for sure what was wrong. When I asked her what she was doing tonight, she replied with "probably lying on the bathroom floor all night. you?"

Turns out, she was ill today. Which means that she came in spite of that, which means she is interested, but couldn't enjoy the date. Which is annoying, but then if she had cancelled on me citing "feeling ill" as a reason, I'd certainly have been sceptical. So still nothing has happened, but still I get the feeling that something could happen.

Typical that the one night my parents have a social life, she can't come over. She did at least sound genuinely annoyed about this, but bah. Nothing ever goes to plan.

According to Youtube 40 minutes (assuming the PC doesn't disconnect) and about 30 minutes-1 hour processing time I guess.

Not a total disaster dude. Keep at it. Much like a good pitta dough, it will all come together.

KFC is awesome! I literally cannot drive past one without buying a Popcorn Chicken snack box! £1.99 ftw!!

really sounds like your making a mountain out of a mole hill man. sure, some bint was annoying you, but haway, we've all been there, you just have to laugh it off. a few weeks ago i was out an some 50 year old woman kept trying to snare me, but i laughed it off.

as for walking home, yeah, thats always a bad idea. i woke up with bleeding feet in the summer after doing that, still, didnt have to pay for the taxi.

sounds like you have outher issues at the moment, and that these things are setting you off.

I went to not one, but two house parties last night and have been in pain for most of today in the head department. Aside from drinking far too much, I met a girl who I have been informed is a lesbian - I can safely say from personal experiance she certainly doesn't bat for that side exclusively.

Due my massive absence from these parts, a general update (if anyone gives a crap): New York City was what scientists call 'totally fucking awesome', I cannot recommend going there enough. I've been diagnosed with dyspraxia, so hopefully my University will put the extra time arrangements in place in time for the exams in two weeks - due to the snow on Wednesday, I haven't been able to meet the guy I need to arrange it with, but fingers crossed. Oh, and I still suck at revision, but at least now I have a reason...

Should I be sorry to hear about your dispraxia? What is it? Sorry, if applicable.

In my case, I'm unable to concentrate for any lengthy period of time, and have difficulty with reading, writing and spelling, as well as, of less academic reference, catching things.

The reason it wasn't picked up on before was because they're all very much normal levels. However, my underlying ability (the test included an IQ test - 133) should put them well above average - it is only when compared to where these certain attributes should be that the dyspraxia becomes apparent.

Ugh, Tracey Emin essay. Cunts! I just want to pass, but i'm scared I won't. I was always pretty good at English essays, but Art essays have always troubled me slightly, it's like there's something I'm missing in how to do well in them.

I've done most of/all the actual writing, I need to redo the intro/conclusion so it actually ties together cohesively, and then do my bibligraphy, which is basically loads of websites I forgot about now...

My CD/DAB player decided it had enough and packed in last night. It was packing in since the summer when i lent it to my parents for their BBQ party. It has stopped playing all the radio stations and only wants to play certain CD's. So i gotta take a look at a new one once i get some money together.

Posted

was it one of those combo players like a mini hi fi? Sony do a killer range of those for under £100 or so. I had one right up till I got my proper stack together and it's still really good.

Refused to go out last night on the basis of going out for 4 out of 5 nights of the week so far, glad I did. Feel so much more refreshed and energetic now!

Got up and did some logical reasoning test + number test + student questionnaire once I was awake, which was the second stage of the application process for my summer internship.

Instantly got a text and an email saying I've got through to the third round! A phone interview! :santa::grin::grin::santa::D

That's wierd, when I'm drunk it feels like I walk home in about 2 mins (as opposed to about 20)!

Same here.

I staggered about 4 miles once and it felt like no time at all. Although I was with two other people. And one of them fell in a stinging nettles bushes and couldn't get out/rolling around. Good lord that was hilarious. It floored me.

I've been updating my PC. No longer will i use the very un-reliable WLM (consistently crashes on start-up). I've chosen Trillian Astra. Yes, it is on the 30 day trial. But, i am intending on upgrading to the full pack. Looks decent and has more features than WLM.

I've also downloaded a new Media Player, Songbird. It too is very decent as well. RealPlayer for my videos and Songbird for Music, all good.
