Meh, house is yack, anyway, tv bolted to wall got stolen yesterday. Fun times. It could have been alot worse, given there were two people in the house.

Today I've got this massively empty feeling going on, my room feels massive, but it still has the same crap it usually does..

Was supposed to go out tonight but I can barely keep my eyes open, I imagine until the 20th life in sheffield is going to be boring, hardly any of my mates are back.. :(

Did I read that wrong, or did you just say your tv was stolen? Sorry to hear about that. Was anything else taken? And yeah, that could have been a lot worse.

It's been another quiet day today. Not even sure if many schools are open, so it might be another quiet week with regards to work.

There's a few jobs coming up now, but most are Infants School Based, which I have taught in but am not specialised in. There's one that has come up in Bristol, though. I'm going to be positive and go for everything that comes up...which I was doing anyway. But, I'll do eet with a smile! :D

I have a TV available, if you're interested. It's a few years old and I need to shift it.

An 8-hour shift feels a lot longer when it ends at 10pm let me tell you. Incidentally, I lead a horrendously bland existence. Why are you even reading this? Think of all the more fulfilling things you could be doing right now.

As does a 5 hour shift ending at 11. I feel your pain my brother.

You read slightly wrong, or I phrased it wrong. The tv thats bolted to the wall in the kitchen was stolen, so most likely somebody who knew what they were doing.

It could have been, still slightly shocking to come back to smashed glass infront of the front door. But hey-ho.

So far this morning I've been very very nervous as I have my driving theory test today :(.

Could hardly sleep with nerves.

Posted

Pff, driving theory test is easy, especially if you have some software at home and have been practising/passing it - it's just the same, and if you fail you can just go back and try again in 2 or 3 weeks. Don't fret :) There are much scarier things in life to lose sleep over!

Yea I have all the software here, I know all my stuff but I am terrible at tests I just go in and my mind goes blank lol.

What makes it worse is that both my brothers got 100% so I feel I'm under a lot of pressure

Posted

My sister also got very very good marks on both tests, I ended up passing anyway, but then I was determined to do better than my sister for once.

Both are actually incredibly easy looking back.

Last night/morning was abit of a pain, both sides neighbours were being noisy at 2am, which isn't too bad, but I've gotten out the habit of hearing noise so early in the morning. Bleh.

Ah well.

I know everyone says it's easy I just stress out easily lol.

Just did the theory practise and hazard practise tests there now and I passed both so fingers crossed the same will happen later today :).

*is shaking in his boots lol*

My little brother was nearly killed last night. Eerie thought. He's fine though, well scuffed up but no killage. Long story, all very dramatic and Eastenders like (well, I think they're doing a similar story in Corrie at the moment actually) and I won't be explaining on here for several reasons but hey ho. About time we had family drama, last lot was Christmas day :heh:

In other annoying news. Left my phone at my dad's and I think my iPod headphones have broke. At first I thought it was my iPod connection (again!) but just tried the headphones on my laptop and they're dodgy. Have no others to test them with.

Long day, and its only really the start.

Apple just don't do headphones. Please, do yourself a favour and don't buy another pair to replace them. Sennheiser CX-300 IIs are next to nothing on Play. Hope your Brother's doing ok!

You should be fine if you've prepared. They give you ages to answer every question, enough to dig into your memory and find the answers. Good luck ;).

Yeah. Only using them because my last lot broke.

*checks play*

I think your idea of nothing and mine is something else...

Thanks :)

Revision crazy today! I've been up since 6! :)

I have my first exam tomorrow on the psychology of happiness. :p

Apart from that I went out to hand in my project that was due in today and bought Madworld! I also managed a vaguely competent conversation with a guy magnetic armchairs who worked in GAME without it getting akward.

I also bought some Pens! ^__^

Last Night I had an epically unnecessary Chinese Meal which included 1/4 of a duck. Compare that to today in which I've only had a sandwich to sustain me and you have the end of a sentence.

I got some cheap GUMY (JVC) ones from play.com for my phone. They're surprisingly good quality, and I'm pretty sure deliver the full quality that my ears can hear.

Spent most of last night and early morning chatting on msn which was absolutely lovely, but then realised is was 5am. I dragged myself in to bed and set my alarm for 11am so I could get up and work on these essays. Instead the iPhone decided to set off the alarm at 5pm. Actually feeling like throwing this damn phone out the window.

Now the prospect of a sleepless night is utterly depressing.

Stayed up til too-late playing Batman! Went to bed about 4, Then woke up several times hearing noises in/around/outside the house, got up to roam the corridors but my detective mode sensed no hostiles, so I'd check the front door was locked (first trip), back door (second time i got up) and kitchen window (third).

Turns out that when I first went to bed my housemate woke up, thinking it was a burgular, and eventually went downstairs to check the doors, which woke me up, made me think it was a burgular... etc etc, for, like, 3 hours. Mad.

So didn't get a great deal of sleep - eaten nearly the last of my food, had a text saying my phone bill has come out of my account (which is... bad. I don't have the money in there, so I'm going to be charged £25 for a failed debit thing...), and couldn't concentrate enough on anything. Saving three tins of sardines for BRAIN FOOD for tomorrow's cramfest 2010.

On a Beatles Rockband break with my housemates, and GENUINELY I play better drunk. Also have UFC 108 ready to watch, but it's been .rar'd into a gazillion parts so via xbox isn't an option. So i guess i download it again!

Just had a really scary reaction to a boiled sweet I ate. I suddenly became really hot, and sweaty, and got that weird feeling in your legs when you feel their presence more than you should do, and they feel powerless.

Possibly too much sugar? Or I'm allergic to a colouring/flavour in the sweet.

You can get something like that checked at your doctor. Sounds strange since often allergic reactions produce anaphylactic shock symptoms. I say get it checked.
