My day has been a fairly relaxing one. I woke up at 7:30, albeit slightly confused, and got on with some work. :)

I also went to the Cinema with Mum to see The Young Victoria which was awesome.

Then I've spent the rest of the day watching Arrested Development, Pokemon and reading my Miley Cyrus autobiograpy, while listening to music. :D

All in all not a bad Sunday! :yay:

Ok, it's been awhile since I've tasted/drunk Budweiser but have they change the recipe or something because the bottle I'm drinking tastes bloody awful compared to how I remember it tasting. Not liking it but then it was my brother who bought the stuff (so funny because he's just turned 18 and so he's all excited that he can buy booze but he's made some bad choices so far with his purchases) so it doesn't really matter. I'll just go and buy some proper stuff tomorrow after Uni, perhaps some Cobra, San Miguel or Peroni.

Anyways, my day has been relaxing apart from having to do some reviews for work and a printer problem which meant my english essay wasn't printing out properly. Got it sorted though so that'll be handed in tomorrow. Reasonably happy about it as after going over it with a fine comb earlier I couldn't see any possible way to improve it as I've discussed the question fully and referenced the text in relation to another and a poem where the name originates so I'm hoping to get a decent grade with it like my last essay. Mulling over whether to bide my time to ask out a girl from Uni or to ask her tomorrow after a lecture we share. Waiting till friday would mean that we could go for drinks and a meal at the weekend whereas asking here tomorrow would perhaps make things awkward come our tutorial on friday regardless of what she says. It's plucking up the courage to do it that's causing me to waver. But this is probably more appropriate for the Sexuality Thread (or is it? I don't know as I've never been in there ::shrug:)

Nuuuuuuh. Been spending alllllll day getting my art portfolio together, printing images, cutting them out, printing out titles, trying to make a business card but failing...

And now it's almost 10 pm and I still need to glue everything (scared of doing that, makes it so... final). And take a shower. And make sure my bag is packed. And I leave at 3:15 am (so have to get up somewhere before 3 am). X3

I keep saying this and i keep doing this, drinking too much. Its fun until the morning hangover (if i get one).

Last nights comedian was brilliant, she was all over me and my mate ripping into us as we were the only 2 in the function room without female company.

Reading Dan speak of jukeboxes reminds me that last night I suffered through whoever decided several Nirvana songs (including 'Rape Me') would be good pub music for Digital Love to come on and after a minute be turned down for the football. I was deeply offended.

Anyway I woke up at 7.30. In fact I woke up several times before that but at 7.30 I gave up. Then stumbled my way through making a rhubarb crumble which turned out fine. Except it leaked a bit in transit.

Met my mother in my hometown to help her find gifts for nan then went there for a family meal thing which was nice. Although with Christmas, nan's birthday in January and now this I'm all familied out for a while :heh:

Got back hoping to watch Dollhouse but housemate is in the front room with boyfriend as he is dictating quotes to her ("blah blah blah" "yup" "blah blah blah" "yup" "blah blah blah" "yup") which I would have suffered through as they had the Scrubs musical on but they turned it off. And are going to watch bad (non sexy) porn after so I've escaped to my room to listen to music.

I too am currently enjoying working my way through The Wire. Think I'm on like, ep3 of S3 now? It's very good stuff anyway.

I noticed that it's on Virgin Media's on demand service, I'll have to give it a watch at some point.

Bit of a mixed day for me. It was my nieces first birthday so I had to go to her party, not usually a problem but it was full of people I hardly know or like.

I actually had goaferboy on standby to use as an excuse to leave early. Thankfully someone at the party put the football on so I just sat there watching that instead, 5-0 Wooooooo!

on the basis that it was largely lacking in culture, I disagree.

Nuuuuuuh, 2:41 am. Half an hour before I leave. I don't think I got any sleep at all, my stupid brain wouldn't stop thinking about this and that and everything at the same time! D:

Don't think I'll get any sleep in the next 22 hours or something so this is going to be interesting... and so very very bad for my ill body. X3

Any tips to give me more energy during the day? Quick?

So long as you don't eat any pizza or cheesy pasta dishes you should be fine; they're almost guaranteed to give you the sleeps. Oh, wait...

I'm a bit of an insomniac which makes me rather a poor tipster in this case. Cold showers and exfoliating face scrubs are great ways to wake up, though, so I'd assume they might make you a bit more lively. If you're really having trouble staying awake then try to break things down: rather than thinking how many hours are left until you can go to bed, reward yourself every hour or 30 minutes with some chocolate or other treat. Keep your focus narrow and time will move quicker.

Of course the best tip would be to have as much fun as possible, then you won't want to sleep! So have a good time, enjoy yourself, and be sure to pick the comfiest mattress when the time comes.

My day is shiiiit, having to do an all-nighter tonight for a deadline tomorrow. Mostly waiting on renders, sometimes 2 hours in between, but I don't trust my body to be able to wake up properly after 2 hours worth of sleep and change renders, and then repeat a couple more times.

Urghhh... My body hates me.

I woke up at 6:12am. Why exactly? God knows, but I can't get back to sleep. I think I was like "FUCK, WHAT DAY IS IT?!" for a second. Realised it was Monday and i had my alarm set and tried to sleep again. Le sigh.

EDIT: Holy jesus its cold in my flat. Temperatures plummeted over night and i left my heating off... Worst idea ever. Sat here, fully clothed and quite cold :D

SQUEEEE~!!

i had a great weekend!! on saturday jamba and i went to his sisters to surprise his mum with a meal for mother's day. we did pretty well! between the 4 of us (jamba, me, his sister, his sister's husband) cooked dinner and pudding for 7 people in about 3 hours! nomnomnom. lamb with apricot stuffing and then citrus fruit cheesecake.

then on sunday jamba's parents drove us to MY mum's place (mum had bought a new car!!? surprise!) and we spent the morning with her then she drove us to london 'cause she was visiting my aunt so it was on her way ~~

then i went nuts in the wonderful mid-day sunday sun and got all motivated to clear the RUBBISH TIP at the end of my garden... me, jamba and occasionally one of my flatmates sorted all the stuff that could go into rubbish bags, all the scrap metal, and all the scrap wood out - put all the rubbish outside, all the metal in a pile, then broke up all the wood and had a BONFIIIIIREEEEE!!:bouncy:

it was great!! we had wine and chips and dips and fire!!

then jamba and i watched half of BSG before we passed out from exhaustion ^___^

Nan's dog had a stroke she thinks. Got told last night. Went downstairs in dark and talked to her on phone, sad downstairs alone and cried for a bit. That dog was amazing. I hate the way dogs are able to be so amazing. Hoping to hear that he is better today, but he's about 15 so I'm not hopeful =[

Went upstairs, luckily the ex was there to comfort but I just sat there depressed. Didn't sleep that much because I couldn't stop thinking about him. blergh.
