Pickering is lovely. In a drive-through-it-on-the-way-to-Whitby kind of way.

Oh, I'm not for a second denying it isn't picturesque and so forth. It's just horrifyingly boring. There's literally nothing note-worthy to do if you're not a tourist. It's almost suffocating being back here after living in a city again.

So I've not updated you peinsalon's (epsialon's) on my life in a while and I'm in a mood to type nonsense for a short while, so sit back, relax and let Ol' Coolness Bears gently caress your ear lobes.

Recently I've been completely SMOKED out. Mainly be doing work at the cinema. :) Not complaining though as I'm getting money! :yay:

Twilight was sold out today and we had to turn people away which was fun, twas like being an elitist Noah who only let cool animals onto his boat of victory that he sailed into the sun.

In between that I spent like 3 days at my friends playing Fifa. :o Oh and watching Pokemon which is so good. Also May returned. Pokemon Contests are beautiful. Snorlax + 2 Munchlaxes in the same episode, yes please. The only way it could have got any spicier is if they put a Nosepass in there as well. :heh:

Also been writing more of my book.

I've written a poem that I shall be submitting into a poetry competition entitled: Those Dastardly Penguins are a frightful tease. :D my friend sorted out the grammar for me!

I've also been playing too much Mass Effect so I feel like all my conversations have several options for me to choose from so here is the rest of my week in Mass Effect 2 form.

- not seeing Shrek 4 with my Nephew. +4 Renegade.

- working extra day/hours for work. + 2 Paragon.

- Not able to see The National with my friend. + 3 Renegade.

- being sociable with in a pub enviroment. + 6 Paragon.

Also went to try and see the XX but the queue was too big.

To round things off, I got hit on by and oldman at the pub. I passed my I.D. to the woman behind the bar to verify my age and she gives it back to me and then all of a sudden this oldman looks at me and goes;

Oldman: "so, HOW old are you?"

*cheeky smarmy smile*

Me: umm..I'm..19..

*nervous*

Oldman: You have a very baby face.

*aroused*

Me: yes..yes..I do.

*turns away, WHAT?* O_____O

Big day today, after picking up delivery from Royal Mail "head office" I've gotta start more training on Sonic 2. I need to know my way around Mystic Ruins in time for the Mega Drive Championships on Sunday.

Also, are any of the Welsh people here Mega Drive savvy and may be available to represent Wales along with myself [and maybe my brother] in some European Mega Drive thing in Germany some point in the future?

I'm Mega Drive savvy but I'm not sure if I'm able to represent Wales. I see myself as being from Wales but I wasn't born there and no longer live there (I grew up there, though). There's also the fact that's it in Germany.

Sounds like somebody has delusions of grandeur.

It was made in the 70s, by the Coca Cola company... so I'm guessing it was just a bunch of guys in their R&D department, rather than Mr. Lilt.

Just went back to the GP about my balls and I've been referred to the hospital for some cancer thing... tests... stuff.

Not cool.

I have however had loads of fun with Words with Friends this morning.

Is there a term for when you just add an "S" to the end of someone else's word?

Or "ed", etc.

I've only been to Wales once [maybe twice] the only reason I'm eligible is that my grandad was Welsh.

Fucking hell, talk about your nick of time things. Just got back picking up my package [¬_¬] and the moment I get upstairs it throws it down. Proper monsoon type shit, the kind where you can't see very far ahead.

Havn't been on a Mega Drive in a long long time, i was pretty nifty when i was playing it.

I used to be really good at all the Sonic games that were on the Megadrive, knew all the levels by the back of my hand, knew where all the Emerald Rings were (in S3 and S+K) everything. Now, i forgot half of what i used to know.

Still, good on ya. Get that practice in, and do us all proud.

Ah today, so the crack on my windscreen - got autoglass to come out and see the window, apparently the guy who came out of 120 car screens he's dealt with I'm only one of 6 who can't be repaired. So on saturday I have to have my windscreen replaced - more money.

Had my MOT today too, apparently a crack in a window if its not the panel right infront of you (as in there's a section on the test that they rely on) then the crack can be as big as 40mm! Thats ridiculous amount of crack to pass an MOT, so luckily I found out the rattling on my car has been my wheel trim and that everything with my car is fine, phew!

Today has been a weird day, not to mention all the crap this week, luckily it seems my dad has been pretty nice about it all given I've been stressing over it. Now who wants a ford fiesta? I've had it with cars haha!

I talked to the guy at kwik fit, who confirmed my fears about my car - cheap to replace stuff, but very easy to break, which I found odd as fords are known for being reliable. Their windscreens (as with most - as it is glass!) are incredibly easy to chip and their suspension springs, which mine went earlier last month are a poor design so therefore they drop quite often and kwik fit have a lot of ford fiestas in. Sigh, so hoping that I wait at least another year before either of those happen. Bloody cars!

Least I get internet for an extra day, I was supposed to go home and watch a film with a friend on friday evening, but I think replacing the whole windscreen on my car saturday comes first..ho hum.

I've decided in August, i shall leave my job. And i don't particulary want to, but it seems it is being forced onto me. Just like Fairfields, minus redundancy.

Just had a meeting to discuss where people will be when we move, that is where i saw what everyones roles and duties will be. Looks like i go from doing meetings, agenda's, sorting rooms out, helping with projects (various), doing the post (in and out), finance stuff, moving stuff around, sorting food hampers etc to being the front person for the GCN. Which basically works out to be answering the phone and letting people in and out. All the jobs i've done are already given to everyone else to do, and i won't get to do anything i used to do.

Which to me is not what i was contracted to do, i have mentioned this and they said that is my role. So i shall be spending my time now job searching, and when a job gets offered to me i shall take it. I don't care what it is to be fair, anything is better than answering the phone all day long.

I'm under the impression and it seems that way as well, that i am being dumped in one place and everyone else does what they need to do. Does 4 months of hard work mean nothing to them, with all the varied work i did.

Rant over.

Your windscreen replacement should be free on your insurance, I'd be surprised if it wasn't.

Been hard at it with work today, seems to be endless. Two bits of very good news though:

1. Car should be back with me by the end of next week

2. Girl from the date earlier in the week is seeing me again on Saturday

Off out for a few beers with one of my best uni mates tonight, all in all a great day. Very happy!

Its not, windscreen gelling or whatever it is, IS free, but to have a whole window replacement cost £70, as the insurance pay most and then you pay the excess, I don't think I ever recall hearing otherwise, but then it depends what cover you are with, some insurers do, others don't.

Either way I don't care, I want it fixed and by god if it breaks again in the next 6months I'm selling it. Haha.

Probably the best call! Was just going by my own experience of it being free when they did my old 206 a few years back. Has to be done sooner rather than later which if you're paying a fair bit yourself is a massive pain!

I've had a chip in my windscreen since I bought my car 2 1/2 years ago (it actually happened on the test drive). Everyone's constantly telling me to get it fixed, I ignored them. Well, today another stone was thrown up and caused a second chip.

If I'd got it fixed/replaced then I'd now have to do it all over again... a true victory for being lazy...

Yeah, it's all a bit new to me so I'm glad my parents are around to help, my sister has hers replaced twice at only £35 each, lucky duck, although this year after only two years of no claims my insurance is 400, which is awesome :D it started at like £900.

I know that either way I can't ignore that chip, the roads to Sheffield, even the motorway are a pain, mostly due to the concrete roads on the a50, they are bound to make the chip bigger and I don't want it to be in my eyesight. The guy who came to fill it mentioned that'll most likely be a massive crack when it goes as it already enlarged quite a lot when he put pressure on to fill it. Damn roads. Damn rocks.

I feel like a bucket of craaaaaaaaaaaaap. My sister invited me to go out with her and some guys, and I just couldn't. I feel so awful about myself (meeting new people makes me really stressed) and I couldn't even face telling her why. =( It's the hardest when I disappoint her.

Hopefully, not holding hope though. Especially when they had smug grins when they told me, in such a way of "you're there out of the way". Made me think really, what have i deserved to have this done.

I was told i would be doing a mixture of both my work in 57 and the Centre, but looking at the rota it seems all my work is between 2 people and only thing left is "answer the phone if no-one else gets it". Even the flipping volunteers have more than me.

I work in a large business centre located in a mill. It's supposed to be rather secure, but yesterday people broke into the fourth floor (which is nowhere near where I work) and stole a load of stuff.

It has been found out that they broke into the shopping village (a collection of shops on the 1st floor) and made their way up the stairs. They got onto the 3rd floor and literally smashed their way up to the 4th floor.

It obviously has to be someone who knows a lot about the building as it's a very, very confusing place to navigate.
