navarre Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 From a heterosexual male, I do find penis' strangely attractive. I'm not attractive to men at all (that I know of), but I so find penis' quite a turn on. The penis on the physique and beauty of a woman would be brilliant. Is it just me that thinks this?
Slaggis Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Gay sex between two consenting adults has literally just become legal in India, which overturns an act that was brought in during the colonial era. One of the responses to this being: I don't agree with the court ruling. There is no homosexuality in India, it's part of Western culture. The legalising of homosexuality means that we are losing our Indian identity. That's not a good decision because it will increase the immorality in our country. That made me laugh so much. Homosexuality is a product of western culture? Interesting theory, but still total bollocks.

Josh64 Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 That video was really quite disturbing to watch and I agree that this forum is a brilliant place. I remember last year reading this thread just before I came out to people, it was really a big help. It confuses me when people ask me when I decided to be gay :P I didn't decide and there wasnt a time - I just was gay and always have been.
chairdriver Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Bruno is "Yes." Why do you think some people in the US are so opposed to gay marriage? In America marriage is seen as ein very sacred union - usually betveen two drunk people at a casino in a ceremony zat takes 3 minuten und is vitnessed by an 18 stone Elvis impersonator. I'm clapping.
Ashley Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Nothing that hasn't been said before, and often by people who aren't a contemptible dick (yeah yeah I can't stand SCB and felt the need to vent)
chairdriver Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Yeah, but the fact he's so high profile and people will actually go to see Bruno is stunning me.
Ashley Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 But once again it brings up the celuloid closet debate. Will people just laugh at him/gay sterotypes or will they listen to what he actually says (at any deeper level than "dialogue" > laughter). Did Borat actually cause people to consider the position of foreigners within contemporary America, or does everyone remember it for the mankini, kidnapping of Pamela Anderson and that weird fat sex scene?
Ashley Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I find him unfunny. He is a comedian and thus in my opinion he fails at his purpose. If you had a broken DS you'd complain yes? :p
Daft Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 I love Bruno. Can't wait to see the film. As a character I always though he was vastly funnier than Borat. Outrageously hysterical, pretty much sums it up. Or maybe, just maybe, freedom is? Freedom? We aren't there yet.
Slaggis Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Or maybe, just maybe, freedom is? Homosexuality is the product of freedom? I know exactly what you're saying, but that's probably the wrong word. By saying freedom, that implies that it's a lifestyle choice, and that because it's "allowed" in western culture we choose to be so. I just find it hilarious that someone (i.e the man I quoted a few posts back) would believe someone would choose to be gay, considering the amount of backlash that still exists against it. But once again it brings up the celuloid closet debate. I agree, to an extent. Though, people dumb enough not to see the meaning of such a movie aren't really worth thinking about anyway. I hate all the gay rights groups that have been calling for the movie to be banned etc. It'll be interesting to see the reaction to the movie when it's finally released.
MoogleViper Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Homosexuality is the product of freedom? I know exactly what you're saying, but that's probably the wrong word. She means people are free to be gay, rather that having to hide in a closet and pretend that they aren't.
Slaggis Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 She means people are free to be gay, rather that having to hide in a closet and pretend that they aren't. That's why I said "I know exactly what you're saying".... I just meant by saying that, it could have been read as something else.
navarre Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Hinduism, Islam and Christianity, India's three largest religions, all oppose homosexuality. Religion in India is far more integrated into daily life than it is here. Ah well, religion should stay out of what it doesn't concern. India probably is the most liberal country in the Middle East, and this is proof.
Frank Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I literally lol'ed-out-loud at this. I don't know exactly why, just the way I read it in my head? hehe, Well I'm sure you know what I meant. I am happy that their are open gay men and women on the forum. Obviously there are gay men and women :p:p am, Just to add to my last post...What do you guys think of Bruno? I'm not sure...I think that he might bring more awareness and acceptance of gay's but it may also promote the gay stereotype which is very bad! :S
Fresh Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I think, honestly, Bruno isn't really going to have too much effect on the stereotype. If the stereotype exists within someone I doubt it would get stronger or those that did not no about it embrace it more. Everyone who is going to watch it knows what Sacha is like and how he pushes the limit. The jokes he seems to be making are more at the situations than the character. Slightly off topic : Just saw an old crush in town while out. Still as cute as ever... Oh Fresh.
bluey Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 OH EM GEEEE!! GAY PRIDE!! an' everything... but what about all the hetro's?! we have problems tooooooooo! fine, our problems arent as fun to debate, and we don't have a cool flag (i think we need a flag, dammit....*) *no...!!! DISCLAIMER: bluey *MAY* be bitter 'cause work made her miss the pride parade this year >__> *sniff*
Ashley Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 DISCLAIMER: bluey *MAY* be bitter 'cause work made her miss the pride parade this year >__> *sniff* But you get to serve me sushi! :p Personally I can't stand pride and always catch the tail end of it as its my friend's birthday the same weekend, so when we go out its wrapping up (on the streets anywho).
nightwolf Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 There's been many a hetrosexual discussion in this thread, so i'm sure its not a problem But I was talking specifically about a group such as lgbt for hetrosexuals. If we had our own seperate group we'd be slung at, so why can't we just join lgbt?
bluey Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 ok ... so i'm shopping online.... minding my own business... OOH ANN SUMMERS SALE!! bluey happy... while bluey browses she spies something unearthly as the thumbnail for the 'gifts for him' section... what the fuck IS this?! what does it DO?! WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!! 25pts to whoever can delicately give me an answer to this conundrum. DISCLAIMER: bluey is shopping strictly for herself. jamba's birthday has passed. he's not getting a weird blue snake thingy. seriously what the fuck is it?!
Ashley Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 I believe she was asking about that picture, not Haggis.
Chris the great Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 I believe she was asking about that picture, not Haggis. back of the net! gotta say, the blue thing looks like some type of butt device, though i guess it could be some sort of cock ring, fingering aid or possibly some sort of in the hand wanking aid. side topic here, we all love vibrators, and girls using them dont get much of a lable, but is ant one else freaked out at the idea of a guy using a flesh light or somthing like that?
