Dyson Posted September 27, 2009 Posted September 27, 2009 http://www.TheWinvasion.com A present for my sister. She's off on a bit of a trip soon and I bought her the domain to spur her in to running a travel blog whilst she's away. We shall see if it worked!

Ganepark32 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Today's purchase: Brand New Eyes by Paramore - £9.99 from HMV Literally ran into HMV to buy it, both so I could get it away and listen to it and so that I could make my morning lecture.
Ronnie Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Ok, pre-ordered: Outstanding Trek film. And what a great first movie to watch on Bluray! Shame about the cover-art.
S.C.G Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Pokemon Platinum £15.99 Gonna get myself a Shaymin!
Paj! Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Ok, pre-ordered: Shame about the cover-art. Hardly! That's so much more stunning than just having the movie poster. Actually a good DVD cover. Really unspoilerific, just a face and the title screaming at you.
Ashley Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Who is that on the cover? Kind of looks like Owen (the forum member).
Cube Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Hardly! That's so much more stunning than just having the movie poster. Actually a good DVD cover. Really unspoilerific, just a face and the title screaming at you. A gold/blue box with the Enterprise emblem and "STAR TREK" would have been much better.
Fierce_LiNk Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I have purchased: Eurostar Ticketings! 23 days, 16 hours and 18 minutes from now, I'll be in the Land of the Belgiumians.
Daft Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Hardly! That's so much more stunning than just having the movie poster. Actually a good DVD cover. Really unspoilerific, just a face and the title screaming at you. No, this is an awesome cover for Star Trek.
Wesley Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Books, £46. Camera, £180ish. Contents insurance, £200ish. I also need to order a £60 chair, my back and bum kills. Expensive day.
Eenuh Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Ah I have that one sitting around here heh. Can't say I ever used it much, but it's a good book for the animation basics. =)
Wesley Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Ah, good good. I'm awful at animation and hopefully it will help. Do you do much animation, able to recommend any other books?
Eenuh Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Ah, good good. I'm awful at animation and hopefully it will help. Do you do much animation, able to recommend any other books? It's a book that explains the basics pretty well I think, so it should certainly help. =) I don't really do animation anymore, but I did follow it as my course a few years ago (but stopped after two and a half years). So I learned most of it there. Another book I have is this one: http://www.amazon.com/Acting-Animators-Revised-Performance-Animation/dp/032500580X But again I didn't really use it heh. =P
chrizkerr2 Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Scene it? Box Office Smash, with the 4 wireless pads. £14.99 from play.com
Paj! Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 No, this is an awesome cover for Star Trek. True. I meant the other movie poster though.
