I'm so sorry to hear about your grandad Animal, losing someone you love is painful, but at least you were there for him through all this. That would have meant a lot to him. It will be difficult now, but hopefully in the future you can look back on the good memories you have of your grandad and have them bring a smile to your face. *hugs*

I had been looking at a Surface Pro 4 as apparently it can run Photoshop. Could do with something like this as sharing my Macbook with @Fierce_LiNk can get annoying and means I get less work done. :P Once you have tested drawing on it, could you let me know how well it works? Also, what model did you go for in terms of power etc.? It's too pricey for me right now, but I might try saving up for one!

Finished the DLC for the Witcher 3: Heart of Stone. Enjoyed doing this, it added some interesting new characters to the game with some lovely sidequests. A bit different from the main game (seemed a bit more focused on puzzles/riddles/finding items), but I didn't mind that at all. Now I have to wait for the next DLC! Have to figure out what game to play in the meantime... @Fierce_LiNk is suggesting Bloodborne, but not sure that is my cup of tea. Or Uncharted, but I'm usually not a fan of games that feature lots of shooting... So I'm not sure. Unless I just replay Witcher 3 on highest difficulty to get the Platinum, but maybe it's a bit too soon for that. :P

Stick with it, you will soon get the hang of it! I got really hooked on it. Fighting is one of those things where you just get better over time, as you upgrade your skills and equipment and learn to use your dodge/attack/magic at the right times. Also, if you ever want to redistribute your skill points, some merchants might sell a potion called Potion of Clearance I think (or something similar), which will "erase" all your skill points so you can redistribute them again on the skills you want. Not many will sell this potion though I think. As for the questing, there is no right or wrong in when you do the main quest. I spent ages sidequesting as I enjoyed that very much (plus you gain experience for doing things like finding treasure, doing contracts etc.). Also, the main quest might sometimes lead to secondary quests which you can do as well. There is loads to do, but it is up to you if you want to do it all or not. Just take your time with it and enjoy it.

Why re-buy an old game which you already own and have played to death? I used to love Mario Tennis (loved how the N64 one and GBC one tied in together), but they never really improved on the series with its sequels. This one just sounds like it was quickly put together to try and get something out there. Such a shame.

No worries! Figured it was that one, it made me quite emotional too. This must be so difficult for children to understand...

Was it this one by any chance?

Just letting you know that it seems there will be a PS4 deal on Amazon Lightning deals at 4pm. PS4 500GB Console with Destiny. No clue yet about price though of course. You need Prime to get early access to the deals. Not sure if this will be any good or not, but worth checking out. Edit: The price for the PS4 on Amazon in the lightning deals is £259, you have until 9PM I think to get it (unless the deal sells out of course). Don't know if that's a good deal or not. :P For anyone interested, there is an XBox One 500GB with Destiny on sale for the same price.

Don't know, it just says it will be collected through my tax code in 2016, so I assume that means monthly payments.
-
Nah nothing at all, don't even have a pension scheme. Someone else has said that even if my employer did make an error, it is still me who owes the tax so I'll have to pay it. Feel like I keep being screwed over on pay in whatever way possible. Why can't things just be simple?
-
I just remembered that I switched jobs right at the start of the new tax year, so I still had some income from my old job. When I total that up, the amount is right. But then does that mean my new employer just messed up by not providing this information on my P45? Because for previous employments it just says £0.00. :S
-
Urgh, I just got a letter in the post from HM Revenue & Customs saying I have underpaid my tax by £335.60... How does that happen when it is all supposed to go through my employer? I don't get how all this works... It says my income was 14257, but my P60 says it was 11225. Not sure what any of this means and what I am supposed to do.

Wait, what? Why would you do thattttt?!?? :'( It is honestly one of my favourite games ever! I just finished it a few days ago and loved every second of it. And because I couldn't get enough, I dived straight back in with the DLC. This game is so good, you should play it! Also as I finished it, means I need to update my list to include The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt!
-
So I just finished this game, only took me two months! :P Such an amazing game though, really loved every second of it and it has become one of my favourite games ever. I found it hard to put the controller down when playing this, quite often playing until late into the night/early mornings haha. I had already seen most of the game as I saw @Fierce_LiNk play through it, but it still felt very fresh when I finally got to play it. I have tried to clear as much of the game as I could as well, the only things left are some question marks in Skellige (spoils of war and smuggler's cache in the sea). I tried doing all the quests too; failed one small one in Novigrad because I went of wandering around, and then one where I needed to talk to Triss about some statuette, but she had sailed off already. :P I have done all the treasure hunts, all the secondary quests, and I got all trophies apart from the highest difficulty ones (so missing three, including the Platinum). Maybe I'll get that on another playthrough haha. Really loved it, the game was beautiful to look at too. It had some very glitchy moments, but that didn't stop me enjoying it really (it made for some hilarious moments actually). My favourite part of the game was probably just wandering around in the world, stumbling across hidden villages or huts, finding random people who needed my help, running into massive beasts... I loved little things they put in the game, like I felt bad for killing one cyclops as I noticed he had a small pen where he kept sheep (probably to eat but still, it showed that he was somewhat intelligent). Or trying to figure out what happened to some people that had died (were they killed by monsters or soldiers, or did they kill themselves in desperation...). Eavesdropping on people's conversations is great as well, gives you some backstory to certain characters. As for the ending, I think I got a pretty good one:

I don't think @Fierce_LiNk and I will be able to make this tomorrow, sorry! Haven't played the game in ages either, I would suck too much at it. :P
-
Definitely do it if that is offered to you and you feel it is something you could do in the future. Not sure what you mean about catching bugs (you can catch bugs anywhere really, not just in a hospital); nurses/carers have to keep up a high sanitation level (washing your hands a lot etc.), which would be part of your training. One of my friends has done a caring job and is now in Uni to be a nurse, and I think she really likes it, though you do need to be able to deal with some bad stuff of course (ill people, cleaning them, possibly dealing with people dying). But if you are good at caring for people, it is definitely worth considering. I think it would be a more rewarding job than being in retail.

Don't worry, I only beat one of your scores and that was on an early level. On most levels I can't even manage 3 stars! Still need to beat the Topaz boss too... That mofo is haaaaard!
-
Had never heard of that slur... but don't worry, I don't want to use anything related to my name anyway. Too confusing for people. @Goafer, that wooden floor looks great, I love wood flooring! If we ever get a house, I will make sure there is lovely wood flooring in it! We have some in our current flat but it is low quality wood, boooh.

@Daft, you're a beast. :P

Willing to rent it out to N-E peoples? I keep getting requests from people to illustrate their (self-published) stories. Like, loads of requests. However none of them seem to have any idea about the money they can spend on it, or they seem to think I can do it for cheap. Pfffff. I feel like I should have a page on my website with prices, though I have no clue what to ask for. Plus, time. I don't have enough of it! Also, I have had about 5 people or so ask to use one of my images of a bee as a logo. It makes me want to use it as my own logo somehow, but I can't think of a shop name (selling cards and jewellery) that involves a bee. Most ideas seem to be taken already! Any ideas? :P

We just saw an ad on Channel 4 saying it will be shown on October 16! We got all excited when we saw it haha. Now we quickly have to watch season 1 again before it starts!

Renting a house is such a great idea! Been looking at venues in the New Forest but they are too expensive! Hope you had fun at the wedding, and you have no reason to be afraid of the camera by the way, you look good (and the suit does look nice).
