So I found the option on Zoopla to contact all estate agents in a certain search area. Decided to use it yesterday and explained what we are looking for. I specifically mentioned that we want a house with a garden and a garage or downstairs study/bedroom we can use for sports/weight equipment... I don't think any of these estate agents can read. So far all the properties that have been sent, do not fit our search criteria at all. None of them have a garage or anything similar, some don't have a garden, some are flats, some are above the price range I specified... Think I'm just better off searching for properties myself. :P

I can't wait to have my own garden! We currently have a patchy, swampy bit of grass in front of our flat, which is a communal garden. It's a bit shitty, barely any plants in it (most are dead/dying) and you can't really sit on the grass because it has been too wet for the last few years. I love messing around with plants, but as I can't have any outside right now, I keep a few inside. Currently have 5 different plants, some of those plants moved all the way from Belgium with me, and have been growing very well. I like repotting them into bigger pots when they need it. When I have a garden, I will try and grow some fruit and vegetables if I have enough space. Definitely want a strawberry plant! And flowers, I want loads of flowers. Possibly even have a little patch with wildflowers. *dreams* Edit: Oh, and I want wisteria growing everywhere. Love it. My parents have it growing in their (somewhat neglected) garden. It's in bloom now, my mom sent this pic this week. If I could just have my parents' garden, I would be so happy. Oh, and their house too.

I got an email a few days ago saying it had been packaged, but so far it doesn't look like it has been dispatched yet, booh. For those getting all the games, which path are you going to start with? I have pretty much avoided all news about these games, but I have heard that Conquest is supposed to be the harder game? I might start with Birthright then to properly get back into it (even though I played Awakening on Hard I think).

Hey guys, wondering if a date had been decided yet? Or are we still waiting for (more) people to confirm? Want to start planning my summer break and want to see if an N-E meet is possible or not.

We have cut out most of the crap. I don't really snack much anymore, apart from an occasional treat. My meals are usually something like this on a weekday: Two slices of thin wholemeal bread (toasted or not) with butter or jam or something. Soup for lunch. 1 slice of bread around 3pm (or fruit if we have any). Dinner is usually chicken with some type of rice of pasta. Then I do cardio 5 times a week (about 45-50 minutes per session). Basically I just eat a bit less than I used to, but also less stuff like chocolate etc. Those are occasional treats.

Happy cause I can wear some shirts again that didn't fit the last two years! Still have about 8 kg to get rid of, but I can do it! Slow and steady will do it for me, rather than doing some stupid diet where I will lose lots of weight quickly and then just regain it.

The new voting system is just to make it more exciting. Before, you would know halfway through already who had won. Now, things get mixed up because the votes from the people are usually very different from the jury votes. If you want to know more about it, just read up on it on the website here: http://www.eurovision.tv/page/voting All the rules are explained there. As for the winner, I thought Ukraine had a nice song. Wouldn't have been my favourite to win, but figured it would score well. My favourite was probably Bulgaria, with Australia right behind them. Belgium got the 10th spot, which isn't bad considering we were up first and everyone probably forgot about us by the end of the show. :P

IT HAS BEEN DONE! Platinum Get!

@Fierce_LiNk and I are having Indian takeaway (a treat for us, we rarely do takeaway) and some cider. Looking forward to it. Jim and I still make fun of the satellite song, how she says toenates instead of toenails. We have been using that word since we heard the song haha. One of my recent favourites is still Euphoria, such a great tune. And the crabwalk in it is amazing. And I still listen to last year's entry from Belgium, still really like it!

I managed to finish the Great Isz dungeon last night and got the red jelly. This was so easy compared to what I had to go through before haha. Only the 3rd boss managed to kill me once, but I quickly took my revenge! Did some farming for blood ritual (5) by searching for shared Ailing Loran dungeons and just running to a room on the first layer that had them. And have extracted enough Arcane Haze too. The last chalice has been created and will hopefully be finished today!
-
Right, so I did Ailing Loran (didn't do the final boss but don't think I really need to), and just now finished the Defiled chalice (thanks to a lot of help from other people for the last two bosses, couldn't do it myself!). But now I can't do the Ihyll one yet as it says I need 4 Red Jelly and I only have 2. So now apparently I have to create another chalice (Great Isz) to get the Red Jelly in there... Which will then mean I have to farm other items again as well. When will it ever endddddd?

There's so many estate agents though... wouldn't even know where to start with contacting them all!

I think what we are looking at right now (our Agreement in Principle) is a 2 year fixed rate at 2.54% (based on borrowing £220,000 over a 35 year term). But that will obviously go up after the 2 years (actually don't even know to what, broker forgot to tell us...). But I'm assuming we can renegotiate a deal then. Bit annoyed with the whole housing thing. Saw a house I quite liked, posted online on the 11th. Wanted to contact them the next day to arrange a viewing (less than 24 hours after it came online), and it's already sold! It's ridiculous how fast things go. How are we supposed to go and view houses when they're gone so fast?

I thought the intro sounded to 'Another one bites the dust'. :P Everyone keeps comparing it to that Sax song, but apparently the Belgian entry was written before that one (entry had to be in before October 2015 I think, or something like that). Was thinking we wouldn't go through as there was only one left to announce, and I was expecting Wolf guy to go through! Bit sad that he didn't make it actually, I liked that song. Didn't like Poland going through at all, just a bit of a boring song. Didn't care much about Lithuania either.
-
This has made me very sad... He was an amazing person for the way he dealt with what was happening to him. He was always nice to people on here as well, just generally a great person. He will be missed.
-
I liked the opening song, loved how they made fun of themselves basically. Latvia's song was pretty good I thought, not feeling it for Poland though.
-
I watch it with Flink of course. Pretty sure I introduced this tradition to him. :P Belgium performing today as the very last one! Haven't heard the song so not sure what to expect! If it's bad, I apologise in advance!

I only got that letter because I looked stuff like that up before (the MoneySavingExpert website and forums are great for this sort of stuff), and I had to do it while I was last in Belgium. I did actually ask my dad to also provide screenshots of the transfers they made, but he never did those. Guess I have to ask him again... It's a bit of a silly thing to ask for isn't it? I get why they have to do it, but still. It doesn't really prove much I think, the money could still come from anywhere.
-
What does that even mean, proof of funds? Like, how can you provide proof other than your bank statements? I have received money from my parents as well. I did have them sign a letter that says how much they gave and that it's a gift, but that's of course not proof where it comes from... Hmm. And I move my money around a lot too, between my own accounts (3 different ones) and Jim's. Hope you can get it all sorted! Hate extra stress like that, surely they could've told you beforehand. We have finally heard back about an Agreement in Principle (ended up having to go with Skipton instead of Nationwide), so now we can actually start looking for a house.
-
Will have to see if I can get there. Don't want to give up now, I'm so close to that Platinum. Haven't had any luck yet trying to summon people in the Dungeons to be honest. At one point, the only time someone actually joined, they left straight away. Will try to get through the Ailing Loran one again later. Maybe I should level up my Vitality in preparation of the Defiled dungeon... Hmmm.
-
Thanks. I've made it up to the Ailing Loran dungeon and got the Beast Claws, yay! But I still have so far to go to get to the Queen. Urgh. To be honest I am not really enjoying these dungeons and wish I didn't have to do them for this trophy. Not even sure how I'm going to handle the Defiled one if you only get half your health...
-
Iceland didn't get through? How strange! I thought that was possibly the best song tonight. Hmmm. :S
-
Is that just the Phutemeru chalices? Does that include the root ones? I find it a bit confusing to be honest. :P And I think I got the items for the alternative ending (Iosefka, Arianna and Abandoned Workshop I think). Will just have to save my file to USB before the end fight to get all 3.
-
I think I will try it at some point, think @Fierce_LiNk wants to play it at some point as well. I might wait a bit for the price to drop (plus other games coming, like the new Fire Emblem). But definitely considering getting it.

Made some more progress in the game, am getting close to the end now!
