Where did you check your credit score? I checked mine on Experian and it was great (though they did mess up on me not being on the electoral roll, which I had them fix), but then I also checked Clearscore I think and they couldn't even find a record for me. :S Good luck with the house hunt by the way!

Happy late birthday to you @Iun!
-
That is right, @Fierce_LiNk, I mean you! (jokes, please don't take my ring back!) Happy birthday Jim! May your day be filled with Indian food, cake and Creed! Here are some celebratory gifs to keep you entertained.

I know right?! Happy birthday though dr. bob and Glen-i! Hope you had a great day!

Congrats Raining! Very jealous, I can't wait to have our own place! Getting fed up with this flat. But finding something we can afford and which is not a shithole seems to be very difficult. I'm looking at properties every day (have been for over a year now) and still haven't found one.

N64 - No signal you guys got any fixes?
Eenuh replied to flameboy's topic in General Gaming Discussion
No he is using a UK N64 in the US/Canada. Which does seem to imply that voltage might be an issue. Your system is not getting enough power due to being on 110 volt instead of 220. I think when I was in the US, I had to use an American charger for my DS as it just wouldn't work with my European charger, not enough power was going through. Also, wouldn't PAL to NTSC signal be an issue as well? The TV will probably have a different signal than the console, so you might need a converter for that? -
This year has not been of to a great start... He was a great actor. Cancer is slowly taking everyone away it seems.

Was that where you had like, 40 kills or something ridiculous? We were looking at your score thinking "How on earth?!". I think you got quite a few kills with Vader there? Nah the controller doesn't have a microphone, but like Fierce_LiNk said, one is included with the PS4. I'm not much of a talker myself, but it can still be fun to talk a bit with the other players, or just to curse at how the enemy is killing you or how your teammates are fucktards for losing the control point or something. :P

We will most likely be online later tonight, probably around 9 pm I think. We don't really have set times where we play games, just do it when we happen to have free time. Feel free to join us whenever you see us online though.

Yeah some great games! Though you guys really need to get better at Supremacy, you weren't really doing too well there. :P Those last games of Cargo were great, really tense! We worked well as a team though, unlike those players just standing there sniping. Such a pointless thing to do in this game!
-
Well I haven't really tried the Missions much yet (some of those Master ones are going to be difficult!), but I did try getting the most kills in Blast (got the most on my team once, but then one guy on the other team beat me ). Also can't see myself doing too well on Hero Hunt, which I would need to win at least once for one of the trophies I think. Basically I don't think I am good enough at the game (my shooting is shit) to get some of the trophies!

If anyone interested in the game doesn't have it yet, we are selling our copy (as we have a digital version): http://www.n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1791595#post1791595 We played this together online yesterday on our two screen setup, was quite fun! Not that we were any good at helping each other out in Supremacy though. :P I have also slowly been collecting trophies for this (got the one for shooting 10 human enemies in Fighter Squadron and for shooting both Slave 1 and Millennium Falcon). There's some really difficult trophies though which I am not sure I will be able to get! That's gonna annoy me if I manage to get close to a Platinum but then can't get one or two of the difficult ones!
-
And of course I have been given the crappy, old TV to use. We had to attach it to its stand with tape (and putting coaters underneath one side) to keep it standing up. :P Downloading some games overnight so we can properly test it tomorrow. The only annoying thing at the moment is that I can't access our downloaded games on my account on the secondary PS4 now.

It has arrived!

I have been quite addicted to this game... I didn't think it would be my sort of game when I bought it for @Fierce_LiNk, but I gave it a quick try at one point when he needed a short break, and I have been hooked since then! I am not very good at the game, but I am having fun trying to collect the trophies right now. Can't wait for our second PS4 to arrive so Fierce_LiNk and I can play online together, and possibly team up with people from here.

Because apparently owning one PS4 isn't good enough anymore these days. :P White PS4 2TB Hard Drive to put in the PS4
-
We ended up going for the Samsung hard drive instead: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-9-5mm-Internal-Drive-Compatible/dp/B00I8O6OQ4/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1451663360&sr=1-1&keywords=2tb+ps4+hard+drive I think that is the one we bought before. Some of the comments we read about the case being difficult to remove on the other hard drive put us off purchasing that one. I had a £30 voucher on Amazon though so I guess it wasn't too painful buying this one. :P Our plan is to buy Battlefront digitally (if it is still cheap by then) so we can play it on both consoles, then just try and sell our disc version of the game. Hopefully this will all work out ok!
-
Apart from Tomb Raider, there isn't really much that interests us on the XBox One to be honest. We can wait for Tomb Raider to be released on PS4. Not sure if we will be playing more in 2016 than we did this year, as we have already been playing a lot more than we had been doing before when we only had our Nintendo consoles! The thing is that now only one of us can play, while the other just has to sit there and watch (or check the internet). :P

Trying to look for some deals on PS4s right now, but it seems Amazon is our best bet at the moment. Does anyone know anywhere else we could get a good deal? I've found a 1TB model with Star Wars Battlefront (we would need the game to both play online I guess?) for £269.99: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B015MSRACU?refRID=7VKZFM6ZYCC5D19APG6H&ref_=pd_ybh_a_2 Or the 500GB model with Star Wars Battlefront for £234.99 on GAME: http://www.game.co.uk/en/playstation-4-500gb-with-star-wars-battlefront-747866?pageSize=40&categoryIdentifier=737200&catGroupId=&sortBy=PRICE_DESC I think the 1TB model might be better to get so we won't need to upgrade anytime soon. Just not sure if there are any better deals out there? Also, would we need to get Plus for the second console or can we just use the one we already have on there too?
-
Would love a second one, but we are also trying to save up for a house, a wedding, a laptop... and other boring things like a vacuum cleaner and dishwasher. :P We also have to figure out how to set up the second (crappy, somewhat broken) tv in the living room, when there isn't really much space. Hmmm. *Still tempted*

That would be a bit of a silly reason not to play a game... You can get lots of XP from simply doing sidequests (of which there are loads!) or doing contracts. I think it keeps the game interesting this way. By the way, the level of the enemies doesn't scale depending on your level I think, they have set levels. I had no trouble getting to a high level before reaching the end boss, and had no trouble defeating him either (this was on normal difficulty level though). Grinding takes the fun out of a game for me, it is boring and pointless, and I was happy that I didn't need to do it in the Witcher. If I needed to level up for a certain quest, I would just do a sidequest/contract/explore the area until I was at the right level. No boring grinding needed.

I think I might be into this game... A lot. I never thought I would enjoy playing a game like this, as I am not a fan of shooters. But I actually do enjoy it; it might just be because of the Star Wars theme, but yeah, it's great! I absolutely suck at the game, but maybe some more practice will fix that! The best part is going around in an AT-ST and just blasting/trampling people! Seems to be the best way for me to get kills in this game. :P Also, Blast mode is probably my preferred one so far, but then I've only really tried that one and Supremacy. Need to spend more time on the game!

I decided to play Grow Home, after @Fierce_LiNk told me to give it a try. I finished it today, but I can't say I really enjoyed it much. The controls just feel too loose and ropy, making your character move in every direction but the one you want him to actually move into. I cursed so many times as BUD fell off a platform as I was trying to maneuver around it, or as he fell of a vine I was trying to climb cause the camera wasn't aligned with his movement... The game started out ok but it soon got pretty boring/tedious, just climbing up (falling a million times in the process) and collecting the odd bits. Not even sure why exactly I was doing what I was doing, I think I must have missed some part of the intro that explained it. I didn't hate the game, but to be honest, I was glad I finished it. And decided I wouldn't bother collecting all the other things I missed. :P

I haven't watched season 2 yet but will probably start over the Christmas break or something. Only recently watched season 1 and loved it! I didn't know what to expect of it when I first started watching it, but it was great! Was wondering where they would go with season 2, but Sioux Falls makes sense as they mentioned that a few times in season 1. Looking forward to watching it!
