The best part about this is how easy it's going to be to own Stadia players who siffer from constant lag in multiplayer shooters 😂

Better to switch to Windows. On a serious note, i Just tried Pirahna Plant (yeah, I've not been smashing in quite a long time) and I love it! Perfectly weird for Smash, and I like the care and detail they've put into the character. It makes me even mote optimistic about the future DLC characters.

This looks amazing! Just my kind of game, and I got so pumped while reading your post. All the important points got checked. Platinum Games as developer. Nobuo Uematsu as composer <3. Hinaba Minaba as director. Everything was perfect. And then I read that it has only been announced for PS4 . Damn. As a PC and Switch gamer, this hurts my soul. Thankfully there is hope! This is from an article by PCGamer from an interview they did with Cygames. There is hope!

Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield (2019, Switch)
ArtMediocre replied to Cube's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It will be interesting to see if the first core home console Pokemon can compete with the handheld versions saleswise. By seeing Let's go hitting the same mark as the later core games, I'd expect it to be at the same level at least, but I hope the game can get Pokemon back to similar sales figures as Diamond & Pearl. The game sure looks interesting though, and I'm excited to see what new changes the Switch can bring to the game. -
Just a so you all know, the japanese version will be featuring English subtitles and menus. Not that I'll be getting this. I'm not that kind of guy....

My body is ready (rip Reggie). I've moved to a corner where noone can see me at work. Let the disappointment begin

While I agree, I still think they have their focus in the right place. They still deliver high quality games and experiences, and while the directs have less quirky movies and meme's, they give us more games and trailers. This might also be because the Switch actually has a lot of games, while the Wii U had very few games. Then they had to fill the directs with something
-
This is something Nintendo has been incredibly good at for a long time, which is what I truly loved about the whole direct-philosophy. Instead of having the bosses almost never appear except for big presentations at conventions, they took it upon themselves to say everything directly to the fans in a format they could play and mess around in. It was a great way of showing what a quirky and fun place Nintendo was. These days, while still having directs, it's never the same. I doubt we'll ever see any quality animations of bosses duking it out in an awesome fighting scene like the one Glen-i posted. That stuff was just pure gold, and could fuel the meme generators for months. God, those days were awesome

Even though he's not really given us any useful information for the last four years, I'm still gonna miss the bastard. He's given me lots of laughs and I really enjoyed his personality. Ride on into the sunset, sweet prince. Ride on.

What. A. Game!!! I loved it all the way through. A lot of tough battles, but it was all so worth it! Now then, the real question begins... To 100% or not? Really, really psyched that Hollow Knight Silksong just got announced too, it's gonna be an instabuy for sure!

Most hype of the entire direct! This looks awesome!!

I've put a couple of hours into this game. I must say Respawn has created a stellar Battle Royale game. It runs as smoothly as you'd expect from the Titanfall developers, and the fact that there has been no hiccups with the game after the insane launch surprise/success is insane. My mate is really, really bad at BR games (and I ain't no good either) so we haven't gotten any wins yet, but I'm enjoying it a lot. I need to finish my tides of war-event in Battlefield before I can devote my time into this game, but that shouldn't take too long. I enjoy playing as Pathfinder and Bloodhound. Pathfinder's grapple hook just brings me back to Titanfall mode and I love it! And Bloodhounds ultimate is pretty rad. Got some sweet shotgun kills the other day with him. I also have to give Respawn credit for giving us the ping-system. Holy hell, that system is way over due in the Battle Royale genere. Why has this been so hard to implement for other games? It's a gamechanger, and now it is actually good to play with strangers! As long as everyone does their part, of course

I just upgraded to the Huawei Mate 20 Pro too, from my old Samsung S8+. So far it feels great, and I'm in love with the screen!

Hahaha, brilliant Sadness reference @markderoos

Bump! So, i found out that we have a Prusa MK2 at work that we can use for private projects....

If Nintendo feels the current build was worth scrapping to get it up to their level of quality, and if Retro pitched an idea to Nintendo that they loved, then this is all welcome news to me. I really like how Nintendo has handeled this too. Their honesty is something we don't see that often in the gaming industry these days. I am looking forward to this game more now, even though the wait will be longer. And I really hope we'll see what the hell Retro has been doing up until now... This really baffles me.

So, I'm having twins this august....

I've not had too much time to play the game, but I've taken out Hornet at Greenpath, and I had to fight her three times before I finally managed to get her. I really love the game! Truly a joy to play. I don't find it too hard to play yet. I struggeled against the guardian at Greenpath (the old beetle with nail and shell), but after losing to him once, I find him pretty easy now. I know I'm really, really early in the game, but I thought it would be harder. I'm glad I'm not having a hard time with it yet, because that was one of my main concerns about the game, and probably the main reason as to why I put it off for this long.

Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - 26th Sept
ArtMediocre replied to Serebii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Sources has told NintendoSoup that Dragon Quest XI will release worldwide in 2019. Still not confirmed by Square Enix, so take it with a grain of salt, but it's not that hard to believe it will release worldwide this year. I wonder if it will include english voices too, or just japanese. https://nintendosoup.com/report-dragon-quest-xi-s-launches-worldwide-in-2019/ -
Well now, this has been in my backlog for a long time. WHY DID I WAIT THIS LONG TO PLAY IT???? The aesthetics, the sound, the atmosphere, and the incredibly well made weapon feel is a insane! I've not played a lot, but I can already tell that this game is amazing! I have gone quite a bit down in the well, and finally found the map bug, but I have no idea how I get back up again without dying :P. I've done two mini bosses, which was alright. I'm currently playing the game handheld, and I guess that the game feels way better with the Pro Controller, but still, it works really well.

I finished it pretty easily with Ike, and I've also done it with Cpt Falcon and Ganondorf. I pretty much just picked who I'm good with though..
-
Well, they just got another customer. Thanks for the heads-up @Dcubed, I hadn't even heard of that. The only thing annoying me with playing the Switch on my daily commute was having to plug in cables in my wireless headset every time I wanted good sound. This solves that issue
