Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - 26th Sept
ArtMediocre replied to Serebii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
https://twitter.com/mochi_wsj/status/1043720372233723905?s=17 It's quite possble the Switch version will feature japanese voice acting, which will be big news in Japan. -
Probably this quote about Reggie saying that the Gaming community is impossible to satisfy. But sure @Beverage, twist it to suit your satisfaction :P.
-
Well, that.. that was... something, I guess? TL;DR - I don't like Nintendo anymore, and i don't like you idiots who pay them and are having fun! Be more like me!!
-
Made a mock-up of how I would design a Smash Bros Joy-con pair. I don't know if you like it, but I think it's way better than the two lines on the Special Edition. It's such a missed opportunity on Nintendo's behalf...
-
@Hero of Time Would you recommend this game on the go as a good option to playing the original on my gaming PC, or is it better to enjoy the full experience? I really enjoy the graphics in final fantasy XV, and I'm not entirely sold on the chibi dolls in the pocket edition... What's the average playtime for XV vs Pocket Edition would you say? Edit: I do not own any of the games, hence why I'm asking.

Glad to see that the suspend point is back.

Final Fantasy X / X-2 on Switch (2019)
ArtMediocre replied to Falcon_BlizZACK's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I've only played bits and pieces of FF VII and X (and loved what I played), so I really can't wait to finally play VII, IX, X & X-2 and XII. This is gonna be time consuming... Highlight of the direct for me, and took my completely by surprise! -
Well, seeing as I've already lost all my save files once, and right after the latest Direct managed to drop my Switch onto concrete (didn't close the zipper on my backpack), I'm in just for the cloud saves alone.

The trailers won me over, I have now bought the season pass :P. God damn this time sink of a game, why do I love it so much!? Has anyone downloaded the Torna DLC yet? First impressions? Is it as much to do as in the original game? I need help. I've started the infamous Ursula lvl 5 skill tree... I'm going to complete her. I use my days at work to get her items with merc missions. It's such a drag. But if I finish her quests I will also get Merc lvl 5, as well as Roc's lvl 5 skill tree unlocked. Then, maybe, I will start a new game plus, if I'm not going in for the Torna DLC straight away. Got the first three DLC blades unlocked yesterday, and I must say the design of these is pretty great. God, I just can't get myself to put this game down.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ( 12th Oct 2018 )
ArtMediocre replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Other Consoles
I'll be checking it out when the open beta hits PC-platforms 15th of september. Looking forward to trying it out seeing as people say it is really, really great. The first beta did nothing for me, and I've really been enjoying Battlefield V, so it has a tough job to do to convince me from buying Battlefield this year. -
Awesome, looks like it is pretty similar to Pavlov VR. Playing a FPS game in VR is like nothing I've ever done before, and it is so intense :D. Glad to see you have something equally good for the PS VR :D. The more the merrier!
-
God dammit, @Dog-amoto. You got me hard. (but not in that way. Bad dog!)
-
So nearly 10 more minutes this time around? Will there be more news or just information about why the direct was delayed?
-
Pre-ordered the game yesterday (I know, shame on me) and tested a few rounds of Grand Operations. Man, this is already a way more intense experience than BF1! I really like it! They bring awesome customization for the multiplayer, the gunplay is solid and the sound effects are crisp and well made. Going to try some more later, but for now I think I will hang on to my pre-order.

Finally I'm not the only one on the forum who owns this
-
I have Rick & Morty, but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet. But I've heard good things about the PC version at least :). I've been sinking a lot of time into Pavlov VR for PC these last few weeks, and I can't recommend it enough!! Such a blast to play, a good community, and the new Gun Game mode is awesome! Rift and Vive owners should give it a try :D. I would also love a free copy of Skyrim, anyone have one to spare?
-
No, silly. You're holding the eating monkey in your hand. It's a really tiny monkey. But to be honest, I would just buy the fruit continuously and be done with it.
-
I'm the same as MindFreak, never played, but I might be interested now that I can take it on the go. If the game get's solid reviews, I'm in for the ride.
-
Sweet, good to finally see the launch date. Are we going to get an open beta/test first? I think I remember something like that.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ( 12th Oct 2018 )
ArtMediocre replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Other Consoles
I installed the beta, played for a couple of hours, and uninstalled the beta. Not feeling it at all. Might be because of all the Battlefield I've been playing lately. I'll have another go when the beta for the Battle Royale-portion comes out, but I'm pretty confident this is not something I'll bother playing. I feel pretty done with the run and gun-game style. -
Musicians Unite! (show your music love, post your gear, etc)
ArtMediocre replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Chit Chat
Here's my acoustic love, the Ovation Custom. It plays like a dream, and I really, really love the look of these guitars. Just look at the leaves/grapes! So pretty! And mother of pearl inlay all along the edge of the guitar. And lastly, here is a link to Zeldauniverse, who still hosts all my songs . Give them a listen if you have the time. I kinda wanna start recording some new Zelda tunes now, but I'm not sure if I have the patience or not. -

@Goafer That is one slick looking Ibanez :D. You're right about Ibanez guitars being thinner and more for the speedy players, and they feel really nice to play too. Cool thread @Fierce_LiNk, it's nice to have a thread to share images of gear and talk some instruments :D. I'm a guitar player myself, and have been playing for fun for the last 17 years or so. I'm not really as skilled as the years would have me, but I really enjoy my time when I can sit and zone out for an hour or two just playing some random tunes to music I listen to. I've also recorded some acoustic Zelda tunes under the name Alak about 10 years ago, and I think they got quite popular online. As for instruments, I'll only share a few :P. I started, like a lot of others, thinking I'm gonna be a rock star, but I went a bit further. I went full metal with this ugly 7 string B.C.Rich Warlock. Jesus, what was I thinking.. After playing that monstrosity for a couple of years I needed something with more quality. I ended up getting a Gibson Les Paul Voodoo, which despite it's looks does a freakin' great job at every genere. It looks really nice as well, and has a iconic skull on it's 5th fret. This was my main electric guitar for 10 years until I walked past this lovely Squire Vintage Baritone Jazzmaster. I fell in love with the looks, and bought it on the spot. After trying hard to play that Squier for about one and a half years, i finally decided Baritone was not for me, and decided to sell it. In the end, I managed to trade it for another Jazzmaster, this time a custom built Warmoth (they sell parts you put together to make your dream guitar). I have to say, the warm burst and color of this gutar is just pure art. And it plays fantastically too. I'll post a picture of my most used guitar tomorrow though, and also the one that has the best looks. It's an acoustic guitar that plays wonderfully, and looks even better (in my eyes). Again, wonderful thread! Looking forward to seeing some more awesome gear -
So, anyone playing the open Beta?
-
Gris means Pig in Norwegian. I can never take that game seriously. Looks beautiful though.

What'sthe difference between the two charizards, and how do you get each evolution? I'm slowly getting warmed up for this game, really starting to like the look of it. Might be a buy for me.
