I was already thinking that when I saw the image, well not exactly that but what if she's green because of some stolen power from the Green Ranger rather than her being the green ranger... I don't know how Power Rangers works anymore, I'm guessing they just make it up as they go along. :p Loved the original series though.

And here I am cleaning all the dust and debris off my Gamepad... :p Oh well, it needed doing anyway... Star Fox Zero on Thursday it is then... I'll be watching out for that Royal Mail item delivery e-mail now.

I don't think it will happen, I'm just thinking that in time certain titles might be tailored more towards the PS4K model, hopefully not though and it will just be a case of if you happen to have a PS4K plus a 4K TV - if anyone has that much money to just upgrade just like that - then your games will be more detailed at such a level which just isn't possible on the original machine; I'd be completely fine with that. My current TV which I purchased around three years ago when LED came in is more than reasonable, I bought that to get 1080p and a clearer picture on a slightly bigger screen as it is, plus I'd need to use my PS4 more before justifying an upgrade already, even if I had been playing more games on it I still think I'd feel the same way. NX on the other hand... more than happy to purchase it so long as it's moreorless what we're all expecting it to be, I have a feeling it will be almost another third pillar but it will be the strongest of the three with the Wii U looking noticably underpowered in comparison to it yet there will still be software released for current platforms including 3DS for a few years yet hopefully. : peace: Damn, as much as I hate speculating, I can't help but get suckered into it all. :p

I think the past couple of pages might require a thrip of some kind as it sounds like we're veering off into other territory here. With that said, I'm aware that there is a known term called "Planned Obsolescence" which can refer to technology which is generally accepted as being iterative or is almost manufactured in such a way that it breaks or can become broken at a certain date. Now while I don't believe that all PS4 consoles will mysteriously break after an update when the PS4K comes out, I do think that it is possible that Sony might start tailoring certain titles towards the enhanced capabilities of the PS4K such as better frame-rates or PSVR etc. If it turns out that 60fps can be easily achieved on the original PS4 for certain titles and Sony choose to only include this as an option for the PS4K then I think it will have the opposite effect, personally I have many games with my PS4 which I've had since launch day, I haven't played it as much as some but I do intend to and the titles I have experienced so far have been really good; while it's still speculation I must say that personally I don't have any desire to buy either a PS4K or PSVR at this current moment in time plus if I find that inferior versions are being made for the PS4 deliberately as opposed to just taking advantage of the higher specs of the PS4K then it will likely mean, I won't buy the game at launch... but it's early days yet so I don't want to speculate too much yet I hope that it turns out to be more of an optional upgrade situation. Nintendo tend to do a lot of incremental upgrades, especially to their portable machines, I'm fine with this as it's always clear from the start with what's going on, like with the GameBoy to GBP then GBC... it made sense, you didn't have to upgrade unless you really wanted to play one of the GBC only titles which were generally released later on in the systems life. Then you also have the 3DS... part of the upgrade process seems to stem from Nintendo not having the foresight to include a second stick in the first place, hence we got the circle pad pro which I did buy, enjoyed using but hated looking at so of course when the New 3DS XL came out I upgraded without hesiation because it turned out to be worth it just for Monster Hunter alone; most recently we have had SNES games released on the New 3DS/XL only which I am also fine with because this is an example of Nintendo using the extra hardware to deliver near-perfect emulation of these titles which people have been wanting for a while, plus I believe that these will carry over to the next true, new portable machine so all is well there as it gives people another reason to upgrade but also you don't have to. As far as the NX is concerned - this is the getting back on-topic bit - I do enjoy playing on my Wii U, I feel like it has had a reasonable amount of titles which more than justify its existence, it has proved to be a vital learning curve for Nintendo in addition to being a stepping stone to the NeXt generation. Right now I feel as if I'm almost ready for a new Nintendo home console, so assuming the NX is this - I think it almost has to be - then this is fine with me, any time from the end of this year to the middle of next year would be just about right. : peace: Of course I'm excited about the future of videogames just as much as anyone else but I do feel like we've surely got to play the waiting game a little longer rather than assuming too much... E3 is only mere months away.

(for the win!) All three tournaments! My preferred time would be 9:30PM or later. (If on a Friday then 11PM or Saturday 10PM) OR Any time after 8PM. (If on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday) If it turns out to be For Glory on Saturday then For Fun on Sunday and CrAzY Smash on Monday though then I'll likely just play in the latter two again to make things easier. My body is ready! :awesome: (But is yours?) :p

Arwing has left the base, repeat; Arwing has left the base! (my copy has shipped too) "Let's rock and roll!"

These are very good examples of how simultaneous Gamepad usage could well have worked, it also makes me wonder if perhaps Nintendo had it right with the GC + GBA compatiblity because to me that offered the best kind of alternative gameplay experience, especially with The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures and the best part about it is that it was optional so you had two dedicated ways to play. Imagine if the NX does turn out to be the home console we all want and that it has either a portable counterpart or the next portable machine connects to it then these kind of gameplay experiences would surely be possible but without a device the size of the Gamepad because though it is a great piece of tech I really don't think it's practical to be holding it up for long periods of time unless you are merely using it as a large handheld device, so to me I feel the concept of multiplayer with everyone having their own screen in addition to the TV is a great one but it needs to take the better elements from the GameCube era and what has been learnt recently from the Wii U. There's definitely huge potential though and it makes me more enthusiastic towards for the future of gaming. : peace:

Awww yeah! That trailer, the epic music, those chills down the back of my spine! Day one for this! Without a doubt... : peace: Summer release, just before E3 please Capcom? Then you can go ahead and announce MH5 as an NX exclusive at E3.

I too have mild Autism so I can completely understand - or at least to a degree as it affects people differently - though I find it's best to be honest about these things from the outset, it's not something I shout from the rooftops but I'm sure I've mentioned on here before that I have Asperger's Syndrome, of course it makes life challenging and if you didn't tell the person you were in a relationship with until recently then I could see how that could make things awkward but really... I hope that's not the reason that your relationship ended? If the person you were with couldn't accept you for who you are then maybe it's for the best as harsh as that may sound, there may be more details I'm unaware of though. My last relationship ended for various reasons - long distance is never easy - but I would say that ultimately we were two conflicting personalities looking back so I'm glad to have finally moved on even though I don't regret being in the relationship but I have learned a lot. Just try to take something postive away from the whole experience, I know it's never easy but if you can be happy in who you are then hopefully the rest will follow, it's not always true but it can be good to try and have a positive outlook where possible.

Yeah but... Ordered yesterday from ShopTo... ...and it arrived today! My excuse was that I needed a game to get me properly back into playing games regularly, as I've really hit something of a slump recently so being that Trackmania Turbo seems to have that instant pick up & play, get hooked, go for broke on the high scores, play for an hour or so then give it a rest kind of vibe, it seems like the perfect candidate. Plus take another look at that gloriously colourful artwork Flink... come on, you know it's worth it brah! Annnd in addition to that if you buy it then, I'll have yours and Ine's high scores to chase in addition to everyone else from N-E who has it, which will keep me coming back, the more time I spend playing it will then no doubt make me want to play more online games like... that lovely copy of Star Wars Battlefront which you both kindly sold me, then... who knows... I might suddenly be feeling adventurous one day and feel like I can finally revisit The Witcher 3 and play through it and the DLC from start to finish this time. But first things first, time to unseal the game and bask in the gloriously manic gameplay which is certain to ensue after unsealing this sure to be simple yet hopefully life-changing title! See you online! (hopefully) : peace:

N-Europe Presents VC Weekly #373 Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Final Fantasy on the Wii U... ...Virtual Console at least. Check inside for the verdict. Enjoy! : peace:

I found this handy guide... http://www.vitaplayer.co.uk/playstation-vita-ps3-ps4-cross-buy-guide/ Seems to have been updated recently as well, I didn't know there were so many titles with cross-buy so I'll likely be checking the guide myself at some point when I next feel like using my Vita. The Oli Oli titles, Shutshimi and Wipeout would be my choice though just at a glance.

I was searching for N64 and Nintendo news many years ago, found this site which I referred to for information along with various Nintendo magazines which no longer exist. I definitely lurked for a while, then I saw one fateful day that Cube-Europe were hiring, so I put together a piece just before the deadline, then shortly after I was offered the chance to join the staff by Jav in 2005. That's when I signed up to the forums and I haven't looked back since. I can't imagine what life would be like without this place and the community which makes it special. : peace:

Which Game Are You Mostly Looking Forward To This Year?
S.C.G replied to Fierce_LiNk's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I would be Fire Emblem Fates... if I could buy the limited edition but I can't so... Star Fox Zero, as I'm looking forward to it even more with each passing day. -
Purchased, for PS4 for £24 on disc, because physical... irrational need to own game, also cheaper and I wasn't going to be buying any more games for a while but... what the heck!

I remember buying my Nintendo GameCube on launch day like it was yesterday. One console in Black was purchased, with one additional controller, a memory card 59 and two games which were Wave Race: Blue Storm and Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II... all purchased for around £215! Those were the days.

You are correct, the Nintendo GameCube launched in Europe on May 3rd 2002. Super Mario Sunshine didn't see a release until October 4th 2002. Just over five months after the GameCube came out... ...so I suppose we could call it a "launch window" title.

I've got a feeling this could be the new Devil's Third... except without the single player. :p Of course by that I mean, it'll be a blast to play online, a few people will play it initially and then next to no one, but I'd love to be wrong though as this title has potential.

Happy Birthday Cube! Here's a videogame related cake image complete with an outdated reference! "Have an eggcellent day!" :p

I'm hoping they will be available for the Wii U as one last big effort - I still have a pre-made Purple folder in anticipation of GC games, don't let me down Nintendo - which would then carry over to the NX, Nintendo could still support the Wii U with VC games even when the NX is out, there's no reason not to if you can play everything linked to your account on the new machine like I think will be the case; it would be like the backwards compatibility on the Xbox One where you can choose which titles you want to download except... not in bits and pieces hopefully but rather all in one go. : peace:

What's a Wii U? I've got the last hardware revision of the Wii which is black in colour, shiny in its finish, has rounded edges and supports lots of weird - yet strangely cool - plastic figures - again, no idea what they are - plus the games look all shiny now, almost as if they are displaying in some kind of higher definition even; it even has this strange controller with a screen I hardly ever use as well, I tried to turn on the console without it but alas it's no good... I don't know what that's about. But a Wii... U? I don't have one of those... unless, that's not a smudge next to the "Wii" logo is it? It seems to be some kind of letter... an "O" perhaps? Nah, I'm probably imagining it! Anyway, the NX won't be out for a little while yet so until then I'm going to play on my "Wii" as you can even play digital versions of games from past Nintendo consoles on it! Technology is incredible! : peace:
