  1. Worst... week... ever! I must have come next to last in every race. :p Oh well, it's E3 week so I can't really stay down about it, especially after the last couple of days! Did you all feel the Zelda hype on Hyrule Circuit?
  2. I bought it when it was around full price not so long ago, which even then was £4.80 or something like that... I think it's 50% off... as I was on the eShop earlier and I want to say that it was less than £2.50? Well worth it in my view, I plan to play the original soon now in anticipation for the new game.
  3. Nothing has convinced me that I need a PSVR unit yet or any VR headset for that matter, all of the demo's shown are interesting but in the same way that they would still be interesting if they were available as first-person demonstrations using the TV screen and move controllers only. I understand the dream of VR being around for so long and now it's finally being realised but at the same time I'm happy with HD gaming on my TV and 3D gaming on a handheld device. A real question here though... How many PSVR games will be genuinely exclusive? I think most of the main PS4 exclusives will be games playable in their more standardised format with VR also available as an option. I can't see a future where PSVR true exclusive titles will outnumber more traditional TV-based gaming, at least not yet anyway. Still, I'll be following the progress of VR and will still be interested to hear how people feel about it after using the devices for days/weeks/months to see how it pans out.
  4. Probably no chance. Though that's not to say that the thought didn't cross my mind several times while watching others play it on the Nintendo Treehouse Live stream. I would love for it to happen though as if we did get any kind of demo for a main Zelda title that would be pretty amazing as it has previously only happened once to my knowledge, that was on the Zelda Collector's Edition disc which came with the Nintendo Gamecube Mario Kart Double Dash pak; you had Zelda, Zelda II, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, a video of other games plus a brief Zelda history and a timed demo of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Although that was a completely different situation, things have moved on since then, there is also the side of the discussion that it would show Nintendo has moved on if they provided us with a downloadable demo but I know it's not as simple as that because these days even if it is just 2% of the game and if it's timed... I could see certain members of the Nintendo community data-mining it which may lead to spoilers so being that it's looking like we won't receive a demo, I can understand why. But still, what if? I can just imagine spending a fair few hours in such a demo if it were to happen.
  5. Ah yeah, didn't see this... I was absorbed in trying out the other hunts solo, only just finished playing. Such an excellent demo, will likely play it more online tomorrow though.
  6. That was an excellent hunt! Thanks @Hero\-of\-Time & @Glen\-i a pleasure hunting alongside you both as always.
  7. I'm in the lobby. Thanks for waiting! Connection Lost... Uh oh... rejoining? No hub, let me no when it's up again and I'll join.
  8. Be right there! Just finished a random hunt, joining you now.
  9. Oh man... that intro! Coming online now.
  10. That's not really solid enough reasoning for a mainline, absorbing single-player entry in the Zelda series to suddenly be forced to include multiplayer, if Nintendo were to add co-op functionality for another player to control Wolf Link while you are playing as Link within limited range, I could accept that but nothing which would compromise tjhat amazing feeling of single-player immersion. I appreciate your desire to play more games co-operatively with your partner as I'm sure loads of people want that, to have more games to play with their nearest and dearest but this isn't a title which should go all out to include such features if it's not supposed to be part of the game I feel. However, if you want to play a Zelda multiplayer game which you can both enjoy in two-player co-op then I would suggest buying a Gamecube - well worth buying if you don't own one already - along with a copy of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures plus a GBA with GC to GBA link cable; it might seem like a lot but it's more than worth it especially if you have any of those things already, failing that there are a few co-op games from Nintendo available on the Wii U already but I don't think you'll get anything like that beyond the partly plausible Wolf Link scenario I described above. : peace: Anyway as for my feelings on Zelda at the moment after all that we've seen? 2017 really seems a long way away at the moment but it will be more than worth the wait!
  11. I must say that although it was nice to see Pokémon and I appreciate key members of Game Freak taking the time to be there and demonstrate parts of the game which we hadn't seen before... it really killed the pace. :p Not to say that I didn't appreciate it but after that amazing unveil trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, that's really all I could think about for the rest of the day and thankfully it's all I had to think about because I watched all of the demonstrations and I have to say that Nintendo Treehouse Live is my favourite part of E3 once again!
  12. When they showed the gameplay, that's the part which really impressed me as well, I actually thought that they would reveal the game was running on Neo hardware or something - I suppose we still don't know that it wasn't - so assuming that's all running on current PS4 hardware? I really thought it was pretty decent, surprise of the show for me.
  13. Well played Kojima and Sony. I'm intrigued.
  14. I'll likely buy it but surely it can't be forced first-person for the entire game? That's not Resident Evil for me, the overall tone felt like a Resi game in part but also jumping on that recent horror bandwagon. Let's hope we see lots more between now and January! Because I'm not buying PSVR so I hope the game isn't compromised to accomodate it. The *logo does look amazing though. :awesome: *So if the game does fail to impress then I suppose I could just buy the empty box.
  15. Well, this is the first God of War game which actually gives me that crucial feeling of anticipation for it and genuinely wanting to play it. Despite owning the remasters of the other games because I got them cheaply, I've only ever played the opening to the original God of War... for this I make no apology either, they just never grabbed me that much. This though? I want to pre-order it.
  16. Mother 3 incoming! I can just feel it, get hype!
  17. N-Europe Presents VC Weekly #378 F-Zero Super Mario Kart 16-Bit racing edition! Check inside for the verdicts. Enjoy! : peace:
  18. This is true. I do actually like Traveller's Tales a fair amount, Sonic R is amazing plus despite my initial reluctance towards Sonic 3D it's actually enjoyable in parts, especially if we're talking about the Saturn version which had the superior Special Stage. I can't help but wonder how this Lego Sonic stage will turn out though but I probably won't buy it on principle as I don't really want to puy into Lego Dimensions but I will watch it from afar which I hope for another main Sonic game to come out on whichever format so long as it's good. : peace:
  19. So let me get this straight... Traveller's Tales... Who made... (in 1996) Then went on to become... Who have been making Lego games since 2005 Are now putting Sonic in Lego Dimensions? I guess everything does come full circle!
  20. QR code get and renamed, at title screen now...
  21. Be right there, forgot about the QR code...

    Yooka-Laylee

Yes! This is shaping up to be everything I could have possibly wanted from the game and much more. Delay? No problem! Just make it count... I'm so glad that I backed this on Kickstarter.
