Midnight Express: 9/10 Late showing on C4. Very hard-hitting movie, brilliant lead actor and generally amazing. These types of films are right up my street, really press home a message.

If Yakuza 3 comes out this year in Europe I may have to get that. Same with 3D Dot Game Heroes, though it'll have to be bought by Atlus very quickly in order for it to happen.

I read the Tekken 6 blog written by the creator (forget his name) but he said that they'd developed a fightstick for this particular game and have gone through various tests by 1337 fighter-gamers to make sure it's worthy of buying. I won't get it, but just putting it out there.

I quite enjoyed the Lost Planet 2 demo. Wasn't what I was expecting at all. The fluidity and awesomeness of that boss was amazing. Was pretty annoying trying to take it down though, only managed to get into it's internal organs once. And died. My bad, I keep thinking Heavy Rain is out this year.

Why the large section of that guy messing about though? That bloke basically got shafted when Derren said he was totally wrong, though he was true in saying that. I probably did miss the point, but I'm not sure there really is a 'point' to any of these Events. -
Nah if I was in your situation I'd definitely get the Goty addition. Why not Uncharted 2?! Or did you just forget to mention it?

I lost respect for Derren during that episode. The events thing is turning out to be a load of bull. The whole eyes thing was dumb, I thought that was just the obvious thing to draw. I didn't bother drawing after 1 picture because I just felt stupid doing it. There was nothing forcing it's way into my mind when I looked at the eyes (although strangely I did draw a train, but do believe that was totally random and unconnected) and thought it would be too pathetic to just be a bunch of circles. Then there was that vague old cockhead that pissed around and the stupid lightbulb trick. I was trying to defend this man during the lottery thing but now I just think he is losing credibility. Nothing in that show was Psychic, even if he himself was skeptical.. -
Man I wish I could play through Fallout 3 for the first time again. Cherishable, you're in for a treat. In a way the add-on pack that detracts from the ending takes away the special feeling, I haven't got any off the additional stuff but it just sounds that way.

Can't wait, tis a shame it's only a one-off though. I'd prefer if he sticked to BBC4 only in a way and just stayed away from celebrity culture altogether. I guess it's too late for that now, especially with Dara etc in this feature.

I'm just rolling through the assault upgrades for Valor. The stamina thing for sprinting pisses me off, there's no need for that 'realism'. It just serves to piss players off when they mess up a respawn or have no choice but to do a cross country. I'll play the thing more up to the close of the beta, and by the end I can probably determine if it's likely that I'll buy it. Both Uncharted and MAG betas have seemed to improve in enjoyment area the more I play. It dawned on me recently that I probably won't be able to buy Uncharted 2 on launch day because my system will be broken. Argh.

Hmmm I wrote a comment ages ago but seems to have not been put through. I like the customisation and unlocks, that stuff is good. Also had an entertaining kill streak of 9 with an assult rifle and grenades. However different phases of the battle are more interesting than others. Sometimes you're battling near the frontier and you have a fun firefight, the next minute your trudging a mile to get somewhere and your team can't advance if it isn't good enough. Most games I've had a negative K/D and it isn't fun dying more times than you kill. Maybe it isn't shit, but it's not as hot as Choze is making it out to be. The lack of lag is VERY impressive however.

Daft it isn't happening. The press must've messed it up by saying analogue stick instead of trigger. Or it has been redesigned. Either way its not happening son.

Hastening to add that the new PSP has better resolution than cinemas, most cinemas don't even display HD

It'll take a lot of convincing for me to think that this is anything but a shit game. The unlocks are cool but it's generally just poor. I don't care if it's a beta, it needs to be way more fun/engaging.

I'm a bit miffed. It means I won't be able to use motion control with Resistance 3 in a years time! Or if it is used it will be a bit awkward.

No Daft. The motion controllers are all identical I think. Me and Dante were just suggesting that you'd have to use the DS3 analogue. Got all excited there when really you should be deflated now for having impared vision. Or am I missing something?

So you rest the DS3 in your hand and lap (being able to control L1/L2 the analogue and the d-pad) with the UI in your right hand pointing etc... Hardly intuitive, seems very makeshift, but I guess would work. The better games will be the one's that use just the UI though. But no analogues is so stupid I think they may as well scrap the idea of proper FPS or shooting games for it. I couldn't care for lightgun games. Plus that game Daft mentioned once or twice with the FP game holding a torch looked good, now I don't think the controls will be satisfactory.
