You missed Uncharted 2, R&C, 3D Dot Game Heroes and Modnation. And I said in FPS terms. Online modes on those two games are completely different. And the campaigns, where the Resistance one is not that groundbreaking but it's a blast to play through, whereas the KZ campaign relies on you not tiring of the graphics and forces you to wait for half an hour before a Helghast's head is actually shootable.

I see what you're all saying now. Sure judge him on how he comes across on the X-Factor, what I originally intended to say to Raining was to keep the 'money making' aspect of him and his show spamming out of the equation with your vote. Hope that's clear now. I see why you all got really pissed off now.

Well no, the thread title is 'Simon Cowell', from what you've said it sounds like you've based your judgement on the amount of shows he has made rather than what you think of him. Sorry if it wasn't clear.

Look I'm not a fan of the Xfactor either but this is strictly Simon Cowell here. I know he's (inherently?) linked to the Xfactor but can we keep this to judging him rather than how he spams his shows etc?

My friend managed to blag himself a new PS3 in exchange for his broken one because it was still in warranty. When asked for proof of purchase (he had no receipt) he lied by saying it came with a phone contract. Lucky shit. Edit: can someone tell me what enclosure I need for my 250gb ps3 HDD if I'm going to upgrade?

I'm actually really looking forward to this purely because of the screens. When I play an RPG it has to look appealing and for me anime of any sort is a turn-off. Paper Mario was incredibly good, especially TTYD because I played that first and the thought behind all the animations and scenery was outstanding. Plus I loved the story even if it was primitive in a way. I also loved Fallout 3, and that's not strictly an RPG but I like the elements of it. I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of good games in the genre but it really is because I can't stand rubbish cartoon artistry. I would add '*runs*' on the end of the post but then what's the point? I just hate the stuff.

Hmm that could be a lifeline. If I manage to make moneydough on my current dead system on eBay and then order that, I could save some money. But then I'll have to be really quick about it. Decisions!!! Wah I don't know what to do. I could then sell the 80GB HDD and replace with the 250gb. Edit: seems they've ran out of stock, unsurprisingly. There'll probably be a great deal just around the corner. Hmmm I'm thinking I need to make a very quickly, I've just seen that this faulty 40gb PS3 is going to go for £100 + and if I can sell mine for the same price then I could be in with awesomeness with the link Ash sent me.

Hmmm was that the Blood Ties quest? Searching for keys in Fallout 3 is never a requirement of the game, but they do make up part of the great extra things to do within the phat playtime. I haven't had any major flaws with Fallout so I've only got praise for it, one of the coolest experiences ever crafted.

Meh I'll see, anyway I've had enough with a shit PS3 tonight so going to get a pizza with a couple of people and actually use a working unit. I'm thinking some BF1943camaraderie is in order.

I swear I remember reading your complaints about the game Daft? As in not liking it? I think the game is fantastic, epic in scale and so many cool things to do in it. Has a real retro feel to the game which I absolutely love. It's just awesome all round.

Don't have a fecking clue. I'm wondering if my system is actually worth that much anymore, certainly not the £240 I spent on it a year ago. I'm not ringing Sony yet, because I have very little money and my Dad is refusing to pay anything atm. I'm waiting to see what Sony offer to my friend who is in a similar predicament, plus I don't want to call without having my data backed up onto an external HDD, so I can either borrow one this friend has or get a cover (I think that's what Cooky said) for my 250gb so I can just put everything on that straight away. It's not looking good for me basically. If there's a £50 solution I'll take it, but the chances are Slim. Wahey...
