Yeah, I think the amount of footage of blood and obscene violence was almost too much though. I was sat there enjoying it, half-way through my Dad came in and his opinion hasn't changed, simply because he can't get over his opinion of games being made for 'simpletons'. He disregards games by saying 'I used to play them' in order to prove that he has moved on. In retrospect it's unsurprising he has that view, with all that gore being televised. I thought Brooker's fair display of intellect would show that games aren't strictly for simpletons but that went in one ear and out the other.

I usually make the hypocrite move and buy on impulse. When I bought Fallout 3 in GAME the day after release I was killing myself inside, but it felt good playing that bad-boy. The box smells nicer when you've just paid the RRP for it.

The segment at 9:33 was probably the best part. I agree he could have a series if he wanted to, he glossed over it pretty quick, I'd like to see some more of his reviews and general perception.

A couple of really funny moments although didn't reach the heights of screenwipe. I was waiting for him to disprove this negative viewpoint people have but it didn't really happen. Too much about violence. Poor man's Jeremy Clarkson? Please.... That guy is overrated and nowhere near as good as Brooker.

I'm level 18 and have the sprint and gun swap speed along with almost every assault upgrade, just want that grenade launcher. Obviously objectives are key but once your bunker is bombed you're fucked. You can't stop a swarm of opponents from planting that bomb and once it's blown, massive trekking occurs.

And generally wouldn't work. Dying constantly. When there's so many people out there to kill you then what hope do you have? Impossible to check your six every 5 seconds and there's too many to mow down with a minigun, then there's reloading...

I've made online threads that faceplanted because the fact is at the moment no 'community' is established. What we have is a few people that post on a forum and share their PSN IDs. You get the occassional night which is good fun and I'm not stopping you from using it am I? Joining in with mics is indeed good but I enjoy playing with you lot even if there is no voice chat. I do remember good times on Worms it must be said. Don't expect me to buy a microphone so soon. And when did my mood come into it when speaking about my faulty system? I'm just saying it. If I hadn't you might've thought 'oh he isn't trying to get a mic because he doesn't think they're necessary'. No, it's because I have this other priority. I haven't re-iterated me being pissed off with the breakage since the Watchdog thing, and in that instance it was topical.

Mag is a bag of shit. At first I stated this, then I played it more and gradually enjoyed it more. Now I just think it's repetitive and boring. Spawn and other glitch issues aside, this is still pretty poor. When I played for the first time I didn't mind that it was slightly generic but now I find that the monotony is the game-killer. Nonchelantly picking people off seems pointless. You feel as meaningful as a spec of shit on a bit of toilet paper. I could be a squad leader but then I don't want some northerner telling me how to do my job just because it's my first attempt and I don't have a clue what to do. For all I know there aren't 256 players on the map. You can't go anywhere you want so it's irrelevant.

Not every post I make about it is 'moaning' as you put it. I just slip it into my posts to remind people other than you or whoever why sometimes I say I can't do something. Do you think I don't understand the principle of a mic? I had one for christs sake and yes it is good to have, but when there's such a small amount of people here that play it's a lot to demand that we should all use mics. I would if I could. Simples.

He doesn't like this statement seeing as he in in the rosey situation where he has everything that he needs and wants and expects us to conform. Doesn't work like that though. You can't get a community without communication. At the moment I don't have a working mic, and if it did work, it's still pretty poor quality. Atm I haven't got a working system so it'll take a while for me to buy an official one.

The gameplay is very good, but once you settle into a routine it doesn't really change much. The cool thing about the game is that it is almost as random as a real football match, and it's all about playing against your mates and screaming after an insane goal.

His mission documentary episode on screenwipe is one of my particular highlights. Connie Huck was brilliant and the whole ending segment was just outright genius. I can't help but post about the guy. It's going to end up with me sounding queer, or just pretentious because I abuse the respect-giving.

You have a lot to learn. His articles and Screenwipe are astoundingly funny. But maybe you have experienced both of the previous so in that case maybe you are in fact not human.

I just can't play 2D/3rd person fighting games. There's something that just stops me from 'getting' them. I can't concentrate on all the enemies and remember what combos to use etc. I'll buy Tekken just because I've always enjoyed the style and it was the first fighting series I played.
