I'd get the 360, then if you want the PS3 as well at a later date, or get bored of the 360 for whatever reason sell it for monies.

I am not going to look at any screens or trailers from now to release, managed to avoid the above, so hopefully my experience with the game will be that little bit better because of it.

I think the new font is great, the matte finish I'm not sure about, it's not bad but not great either. One second I think 'outdated', the next I think 'retro/modern'. Is strange, don't know what to think of it, but my impressions of it have improved since the leaks. Not sure if the look of it matters yet, I'm not sure what the best solution to my predicament is. If sony offer a cheaper repair service as of now then that will be a god send.

Hmmm, the pack shots don't look great but the video of the unboxing made it look pretty good. Still not sure where this leaves me and my broken PS3, do I try and sell it, wait for news of cheaper repair service or get it fixed online for £100? Confusing. The new zombie game looks pretty shite, and I don't know why Daft found the firmware update so cool. It's not even an overhaul, just a few minor improvements.

The conference room is filling up quickly according to Kotaku. Should start in 5 minutes. The stage doesn't look that great, tbh I think it might be a washout in terms of announcements. We'll see.

I'm a big fan of trophies I think they're one of the best additions this gen. Some games just aren't suited to them though, and I don't think they should be a requirement for each title. Heavy Rain for example... There's just no point.

Erm... Any chance of a Resistance 3 announcement? Obviously not, but I'd just like game announcements and for them to say that they will do repairs for free. That last bit is at a stretch. Maybe we'll hear more about The Agent, but personally I'm not too excited for it despite lack of info. Edit: OMG a possibility of Res 3 actually making a showing! Mat you shouldn't have! Edit: Oh right not anything special, kinda obvious they'd start working on it sooner or later. Edit: I doubt it's even Resistance, the way they described it doesn't really suit the game. Edit: how long is the conference meant to last? Is this that 3 hour one? I'm expecting the same introduction to the leaked info, "Oh yeah, there's a really big surprise in store for you, it's the PS3 Slim. You guys haven't heard of that right?"

^ That's kind of obvious though, sometimes it's a bad thing because it makes players 'grind' or carry on playing for a needless amount of time to an extent where you actually become bored and therefore it dampens your thought of the game somewhat.

After watching the first 3 episodes it was becoming a fairly interesting programme, but when I looked back to check the thread I was informed the Nikki(sp?) had gone, and tbh her and the alcoholic one were the show makers so I can't be bothered to watch the rest.

Forgot to mention the crappy load times for trophies, sometimes you have to sync them, watch a load symbol and games sometimes need to load the trophies before you get to the main menu.

I remember reading an article about how achievements were so much better than trophies, and when I clicked on the link I was like 'Well not really', but it turned out to make a lot of sense. I do like the platinums though, they sound more valuable than a 1000/1000 score because you get a token for it and they have a proper name.

I'd rather Sony employed complete twats for customer service but repaired the PS3 for free or a reasonable sum rather than making people pay for a refurb at half the price of a new system. It's rediculous, crap warranty and it doesn't really matter if you're within it, you still have to cough up.

Who said it was game of the year? And apparently the PS3 boxarts might be changed so that the PS3 logo goes at the top and not the bottom, so there's no crappy plastic stuff at the top. However that was just a rumour from an N4G source so it's probably false.
