If they really wanted to move away from a 'bulky headset' then why not just allow people to use earphones on the switch (as they do) and put a mic on the switch? If they really wanted to protect children then why make them need a phone to chat? A lot worse can be done with a phone than a console. I don't see any excuse for this.

I've found the beta very underwhelming to be honest. Maybe a bit more time on it will make me like it in a Stockholm syndrome kind of way. I thought the strike was pretty basic and the boss was just a boring bullet sponge. I feel that Overwatch has somewhat spoiled things for me in terms of the crucible side of things. It just didn't feel that fun to me.

That might be the attitude to have if your system had an OS-level voice chat solution. Otherwise, no.

That sounds about five times as exciting as what normally happens in any given scene in the show. And about 100 times as exciting as Sam continuously cleaning out excrement. Not that it has to be a whole episode mind. Just not starting at the end would be cool. Given the history of the Freys in the show, you can hardly blame people for not wanting that part to be so quick.

It makes you wonder why they have cut the number of episodes short but then gloss over things like this. I would have liked to have seen how she managed to put together a plot like that. If anything, just to make it seem less rushed.

Yeah not sure what on Earth the Ed Sheeran cameo was about. Who approved that? It's just jarring to see him cast in a similar role to what he normally does, cracking a joke about it being a new song. To me that took me out of Westeros and made me think the producers were having a joke with the audience. I thought the Arya bit at the beginning was a little weird (given the slow pace of the shown normally), given how much planning must have gone into something like that. Seemed a bit...over too quickly? Other than that I really enjoyed the episode.

Ultimately the game would be more flawed without overtime. Think of it this way - if there was no overtime and you have the point and get to 80% you could literally carry the last 20% by queuing up "invulnerable" (or very strong/evasive) characters: - Mei with ice block - Reaper with wraith form - Zen ult - Monkey with ult - Sombra going invisible You could sequentially queue up any number of those and just...hold the point. No attacking or besting your enemy, just watch the percentage tick up all the while knowing even if 6 of the enemy team are there they can't really do anything. It would place all emphasis on getting the point in the first place. There would be no such thing as a last minute push if they have Mei, as you know the last 10 seconds or so probably won't even matter. Put it this way, point capture gives and takes away. While you own the point, even when the enemy team are trying to capture it from you by standing on it, you're still gaining percentage. it's only when it gets to 99% that it starts to benefit them, but only if they're standing on it and trying to take it from you.

It's basically not good - if it does come to Switch it'll be way later. People won't really care about it by the time it comes - similar to something like Mass Effect 3 on the Wii U. It'll probably be more expensive too when it does release, if it ever does, as the other versions will have reduced in price by then.

The winners aren't the best players, just the players who play the objective the best. You might be the best widowmaker in the world but if you're not on the objective to help take it or prevent the clock running out then your team loses. It comes down to teamwork and your team besting the other team completely so that they can't contest the point. If they manage to do that to you but you can't do it to them then they have bested you in that respect and deserve to win. The contesting feature also brings out teamwork and urgency at the last second in otherwise teamwork-incompetent (but individually skilled) players. It basically encourages teamwork, creates epic stories and ultimately makes for a better game.

It's to make sure the winners are the people who were really the best players that game. If they managed to get 100% and kill enough of you to stop you contesting then they did a better job than you who only got 100% without killing enough teammates to clear the point.

AC: Brotherhood is the one set in Rome. Also the best game.

Tbh, with the demand of the Switch I can understand why they've been caught short. Given the Wii U situation I can appreciate why they were hesitant to commit to a large number of units. When they knew there was demand, I can't see why they wouldn't be pumping these out at full speed, as it's just money left on the table otherwise.

I always question the hygiene of the peripherals being sold there. For some reason their shops have a strange odour.

Does this mean that if you click your trophies it will take a second to sync them for a particular game? Or will it automatically sync trophies within 1 second for any that are earned from now? If it's the latter then it will seem instant, since it takes at least a second to go to the section where you view your trophies anyway.
