The Disgaea games are an awful lot of fun and you get tons of content for your money. If you've never played one you're in for a treat!

We were having a debate, which was reasonably cordial by past standards, then out of nowhere you bring up past discussions and grudges in order to attack the person rather than the argument. You could simply have left your point at "No they didn't delay Zelda for Switch, it was released when it was ready". Instead what you said was that plus "here's a load of bollocks you said from past topics as a reason why nobody should listen to anything you have to say". As long as you choose to conduct yourself like this you will continue to be public enemy number one.
-
My bad. The fact that Breath of the Wild was "ready" by exactly the same date that the Switch launched was in fact coincidence, and not indicative of the game being delayed to coincide with the console launch. As for the rest of your accusatory post: a big fat ell-oh-ell. Tragic.

You only prefer Nintendo's way because you are impatient. Most people would prefer to know that they are going to get good money out of their consoles they buy. With Nintendo there always seem to be big gaps and you end up buying their systems a bit on faith, you never quite know if it's going to get good support or not. Nintendo are also big offenders in terms of teasing games years ahead like Zelda, then screwing over customers by pushing out the release date in order to launch simultaneously on the next console. So yeah...cack-handed. You keep going on about Fallout 4 but that really is not normal. I'd also debate that's not a great model - I like to know I'll have something to look forward to (like I did with Persona 5, and am doing with Dragon Quest). Seeing the occasional screenshot as things develop over the years has always helped build excitement and gear me up to the release. Don't forget that if Sony have a game coming out that year, they will also be showing you that game which is coming in 6-9 months. The only difference in our points of view is that you don't want to be told or shown anything before those 6-9 months prior to release.

I agree that it could work for Nintendo. But to comment on the previous points made, it's pretty much inarguable that Sony are smashing it, so it doesn't make sense for Ronnie to say that Sony need to learn something from Nintendo with regards to showing off games to draw in/sate customers. Clearly what they've been doing is working very well. Why would they want to adopt Nintendo's cack-handed ways? Sony and Nintendo are also in totally different positions (the former doing gangbusters with an already established library), so there's no reason to assume one should be following the other's way of doing things. For instance, Nintendo are mostly floating their own console with their games whereas Sony and Microsoft have a great deal of third party support. Thus, the way Nintendo control the release of information about new games will and should be different to the competition.

That is a very strange reaction given that's how the overwhelming majority of games come to be. Patience is also a virtue.

Could not disagree more. Why wouldn't you show FF7 and Shenmue literally the moment they are conceived and you know they are coming to your console. The fact they are some years off is completely irrelevant. Think about it - Sony are in direct competition with the Xbox. The vast majority of people are probably only going to buy one system at most owing to cost/subscriptions/closed friend networks. Why wouldn't you show off games somewhat far off in the future if it means people will buy your console over your competitor. FF7 is a fan's wet dream - a lot of people are going to want to buy a PS4 over an Xbox if it means they can play their multiplatform games now and then FF7 in a few years. Beyond this being good for Sony, it's also good for fans and the system's future. Tell me that you wouldn't feel happier if you knew right now that a sweet looking 3D Metroid and main full-size Pokémon title were coming to Switch in 3 years. You would at the very least know that your Switch purchase was totally going to be worth it and no doubt more people would get excited and jump on board to buy a system they know they'll be picking up anyway.

It's one of the best games on the PS4. A genuine must buy.

This guy. If you ever start to believe Serebii's post, just listen to this guy.

Nice! Hope you enjoy it.

Yeah that's the one. It has slightly less RAM than the regular G5 but is a lot cheaper and essentially nearly the same. You can also buy it fulfilled by Amazon for a few pounds more, which might be a better idea than Groupon, especially if you ever need to deal with customer service. The cool thing about the G5 is that you can get extra modules for it too depending on what you like. Just to point out that the G5 SE still connects to 4G, and 1GB less RAM is nothing much to worry about in all honesty. I went from the Nexus 4 to the G4, so I think you'll be very pleasantly surprised jumping to the G5 SE.
-
I wouldn't be torn, Stardew Valley is meant to be a great game whereas Harvest Moon lost its way a long time ago.
-
If you bought a PS4 without a blu ray drive then I'd hope you had a big hard drive and deep pockets. No physical games for you.
-
I don't see that being an issue to be honest, app support continues for a long time as it's in everyone's interests to be make sure money continues to be funnelled into apps. It's your choice, but the G4 is a much better phone for the money. If you want, spend that extra 34 quid or so for the G5 which is only last year's model. I'd be more concerned with diminishing battery capacity in a phone you plan to use for a long time. With most phones the battery is not replaceable; with the G4/G5 it is replaceable.
-
For £250 you can buy the LG G4 off Amazon which is a better phone than the Moto G5 Plus: link. Spec comparison: link. It's the phone I use. Has a compass and the camera is very good too. If you're willing to pay about £35 more you can also go for its sequel, the 1 year newer LG G5, but I tried to find a phone that was the same as your budget.

Then that's the year I sell it. I am hoping they make more new and big games as to me it feels like they will otherwise be treading water after a year or two. They've already assigned 3D Mario and Zelda to year 1.
-
And then what about the year after that?
-
It makes me wonder what there will be left to release next year. Apart from the delayed Xenoblade, obviously.
-
Rayman Legends...Christ, I forgot they were still bringing this game to Switch!
-
You say it's a no brainer but I paid absolutely nothing extra and Nintendo fixed it for free as part of the 12 month warranty. It's such a common issue with the device that they simply can't ignore it. For TVs, I heartily recommend John Lewis who give you a 5 year warranty as standard. I got my TV completely replaced at no extra cost with a new model 3 years or so after purchase since it started to develop a defect in the corners.
-
Not sure why you paid for a guarantee, if it's a joycon desynchronization issue Nintendo will fix it under warranty (Nintendo did for me). Just give them a call and explain the issue and they'll send you a label to return just the affected joycon for free.
-
Why would you when there's Stardew Valley?
-
Reggie tends to be full of shit though. He's also bound to say that as he's not going to admit something potentially negative.

Nintendo confirms: No live conference at E3 this year
Sheikah replied to Serebii's topic in Nintendo Gaming
You could argue that Nintendo can't do these screenings live as they need these segments, on account of not having enough games to make up a reasonable length show. I bet they wish they could do trailer trailer trailer. I would have killed for tappa tappa tappa.
