True that. We're all the human race, but humans seem to like to put things in neat little boxes and categories and for some reason develop the us vs them mentality while we're at it. On a similar note of wrong terms. African American. A wholly widespread and often incorrect term to refer to black Americans (whom should just be called Americans imo and not identified by their skin). I've been chastised before for calling someone black instead of African American. Le sigh.

Ehhhhh. I still think System Shock 2 was a much stronger game than Bioshock. Bioshock felt like a reimagined SS2 honestly, still good fun though I've played through it twice. Never saw a point to the sequel and never had any desire to play it (though I heard the multiplayer was actually quite well done even if relatively ignored). I wonder if the MP portion will make it into this collection since that would mean setting up netcode and all that jazz. Infinite was the cream of the crop and one of my GotYs for that year. 2012 right? It, Dishonored, and Sleeping Dogs dominated my fall that year. It has some issues people complain about but I honestly find the issues to be such niggling points to whine over.

Really sorry you went through that. It's funny just how close we can get to people we've never really met before and be great friends with them and not know them at all. I work in a construction trade that's predominantly white and while they can all hold their opinions well enough to not get in trouble, a large majority are quite racist towards blacks. Most are outright hateful of any Muslims. (Yay for US middle eastern policies). It's a sad state and relatively representative of the US blue collar workforce. They are open to change only insofar as not getting themselves in trouble.

Should but likely won't.

Broken as fuck isn't wrong. However congress votes, it passes president can veto, congress can then actually overturn the veto. Supreme Court reviews laws and acts and can determine things to be unconstitutional and throw them out. Such as banning gay marriage. The court is 9 justices, and only 5 need to agree. Much harder said than done. Of course right now we have 8 because Republicans threw a shit fit that Obama might appoint someone they don't like and it shouldn't be his decision (despite him being in office for a full year post Scalia death) so just recently a decision was 4-4 and nothing was decided. So yeah. Broken as fuck, but occasionally it works. Shit still gets forced through and many politicians are literally bought by corporations. Anyways. Why I came in here. Sorry.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

Want, no not really. I hate the sensor bar, always have its always been the most annoying part of the Wii to me. That said, I wouldn't complain at all if the NX is capable of playing all the old games. More functionality is rarely a bad thing. Too much focus on the wrong functionality though is bad. Honestly if be happy if it could just play the games, but had literally no more focus than that. Don't even include a sensor bar, and don't allow dev access to motion controls. Anything beyond backwards compatibility, fuck it. Standard fucking controller for new games, allow old controllers to connect for old games only. Actually I'd be happy with a revised GameCube controller. Normal right stick, sticks that click, bumper buttons, normal Dpad and analog triggers with a digital click. Sounds like a winner. -
First Sanders, now the UK. Sorry for how the country voted guys. Not that I'm fully educated on the matters

I was just IP banned. (Didn't think to screenshot) on my phone. I sent a message to whomever it goes to when you click the contact button. Afterwords I turned airplane mode on and off, and now I'm here again. I don't know if it was my end or the sites end. I also realized I need to update my email to something that actually exists.

My two cents on Banjo and how it's aged @Ronnie , is that I played a tiny tiny bit of the N64 version. So without nostalgia I can say playing it on the 360/One it is still a fantastic and well made game. If you do get the chance to play it, try it out.

Don't ask the cost... Also preordered Persona 5

Ico controls were adequate for its time. SotC has a floaty camera, but the controls themselves always felt relatively solid to me. Less unresponsive so much as every action has a windup time and will be followed through. It's like playing Bayonetta and dodge offsetting combos all the time and then switching to Bloodborne and saying the dodge is unresponsive because you can't dodge roll out of a combo where you're swinging a large heavy weapon. That's not to say TLG complaints are unfounded, I wouldn't know without playing it to form an opinion. I'd warrant a guess though that it's less unresponsive so much as making the choice to have each action be that way.

No no no, no ghosting. One of you hold the left side of the controller and the other hold the right side. Hilarity should ensue. -

I would compare the story potential of this to that of the Souls games and Bloodborne. Those games are chocked full of lore and have great storylines, but if you don't care to read the item descriptions you can easily miss out on a lot. You can miss out on entire areas of the game but still go defeat the end boss. I see it being similar to that, and I don't think it's a bad thing at all. -
I bet he's trolling and its a virtual pachinko game.

@Dcubed Over the shoulder melee, Ryse was that way.

You didn't outright say it but you insinuated plenty hence other people's obviously sarcastic and facetious replies.

At this point we've seen more of this game.

I'm too shy to ask a handheld to dance with me though.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

That could work. It would be very similar to Shadow of the Colossus in that case. -

Yep. Open world fantasy RPG. Create a character and build a class and jaunt across the countryside killing creatures and doing quests. Similar to Fallout 3/NewVegas/4 and The Witcher.

Lords of the Fallen is a crappy Dark Souls. It shamelessly lifts the mechanics and has a few ideas of its own, but nothing feels nearly as tight and polished as the From Software series. It's not a bad game, I recommend it, but I recommend the Souls games more highly. The first and third more so than the second (different director and some more questionable design choices.) and of course Bloodborne but it's playstyle is far quicker. Intimidating games but with patience or just plain stubbornness anyone can get through them. Intimidating games to me, not necessarily JRPGs but anything that feels like it will be a huge investment of my time. I can have a hard time getting into/sticking with some of those games even if I greatly enjoy them. Less intimidated and more I try and split my time between too many things.

The Sega Saturn gambit...I'd rather not see that. I don't think a surprise release bodes well.
