    I never said it needed to be black and white, I said it's too obtuse. There's a difference between convoluted beyond understanding, and convoluted within...reason(?). The best example I can think of is MGS, the story is plain insane, but people make sense of it relatively easily. Is the same said about FF VIII? Has anyone made sense of the story?

    Squall's dead has been posted (by me in fact) and it's speculation rather than proof. Considering that the story isn't understood and 11 years later people are still trying to make sense of it, I wonder how anyone can call it good. Obtuse ramblings generally do not make for a good story.

    I was gonna complain about the open world textures, but then I remembered Killzone 2 doesn't have better textures.

    I think it's a rather hard decision. I'd try and go for a compromise restrict ReZ's comedy to even numbered days, and get something equal to half.

    A pokemon poker game spin off? Would it be 5 card draw or the sucky (texas hold em) version?

    Every two episodes have their own plot, but they also all contain parts of the greater overall plot that spans the entire series. I think most people are just unable/unwilling to follow the overall plot with so many details not being shoved to the forefront. I'm with EE and think it's great.

    Hunchback of Notre Dame is great for many reasons, but none more important than Frollo being voiced by Tony Jay. Tony Jay is also The Elder God from Legacy of Kain, and Chairface Chippendale in The Tick. His Voice is win on similar levels of Morgan Freeman. Speaking of Voices, I strongly dislike The Incredibles because too many of the characters seem to have an odd lisp and it drives me nuts.

    Halo 3 campaign is rather boring alone, although it's always a good time co-op. If you get bored of Fallout 3, just take a break and go back to it after a few weeks. Eventually you'll crave the wasteland again.

    The story of the first game was nothing special, but at least it didn't pretend to be something like the second game. The second game almost seemed to think we should care about the plot, but it was just so terrible.

    They didn't do it that I know of, but it's possible. Seeing as how this is a year and a half after Gears 2 and after the 4th book though, it seems likely they'll do it this time. Now that I think of it, they may have done it with Gears 2, but without reading the books I don't know for sure. Either way it was pretty poor. The scene in question is the ending cutscene when Marcus tries and fails to get Anya on the radio, then looks all sad not entirely unlike Dom trying to find Maria, it hints at some sort of relationship that hte game never really hinted at. Of course after her chopper shows up and she is in view, Marcus just looks like his normal self, not extremely happy of anything, so who knows.

    They better not make the mistake of commonly referencing the books without some sort of recap. It's just plain poor story telling to chronologically weave a story between mediums with nothing telling what happened if you happen to skip over one of the mediums.

    For whatever other things I can find to complain about, Gears always seems to have great trailers.

    I'd buy it. Even if it looked like a PS1 game and played like early 3D games forgoing the analog sticks, it would just be to hilarious to pass up. Even more so if it didn't go to 360 as well.

    My Boss brought me a Burger and Coke. It had bacon on it, and therefore was fucking delicious. I could feel my heart working to keep blood moving through the arteries, but it didn't concern me.

    It is a bit crap, but it's classic crap. It's like the bridge between B-Movies and Hollywood.

    Big Trouble in Little China is an absolute classic. It's always a good watch.
