Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, hard to buy a Thanksgiving gift the day after it. I think most people do X-mas shopping on Black Friday instead. Theoretically eyeglasses should be able to fix the problem. Of course 3D glasses over regular glasses is a huge pain.
-
Err, Thanksgiving isn't really used as a time to give people expensive shit. It's generally that time everyone overeats and gets lethargic on Turkey then get drunk while watching (American) football.

That title makes me want to punch things.

My God car demands Skulls for the Skull throne and Blood for the Blood God....It's a very messy business.

Mortal cars break easier though. They add up in repair costs.

Watched for the first time last night. It doesn't really go anywhere does it? Despite that loved it all the same and could help but smiling (a lot like being high...). Is it just me or does it look like Totoro is ready to eat the girls every time he does that big smile?

I was rather disappointed by the demo length (you'd think a normal playthrough+a Hard playthrough would take more than 30 minutes together.) but it's certainly fun. It feels like Ubisoft is trying to expand the games audience though, it's much easier than any of the previous games where patience and knowing most of Sam's tricks were key to staying alive. Although I enjoyed the old games I wasn't very good at them so this is a welcome change to me.

Somehow I've only gone to the threads I've clicked on.

I think some of you are overstating the power of Tegra a bit. About the best thing I've seen on Tegra is Quake 3 with a good framerate and PGR on the Zune which isn't as good as some PSP games let alone Gamecube. Most of Tegra's qualities lie in low power package able to deliver HD videos. Tegra 2 on the other hand should be a fair bit more powerful, and was shown fluidly running UE3.

It all depends on how mean you want the AI to be. There will be more blue shells coming for you at 125.

I don't mind long scenes on 2 conditions, skippable and pauseable. Subtitles help as well. It's rather unfair at the end of that article when they link to LOs opening. Which is almost as long as the GoW3 intro, but what the video doesn't show is that halfway through is gameplay in the actual game followed by the rest of the intro. Perhaps Last Story will go the way of Half Life, wander around as people talk to and about you and about you to do list. :p

I'd say try default drivers, then try the latest drivers and then if need be perhaps slightly older drivers. But sadly....if everything was fine then graphical glitches started happening the card was likely over heating, and when things got worse/permanent the card started to fry and is basically done for. Perhaps if you're lucky it may still just be hot. Can you tell if the fan is running, and is there an abnormally high amount of dust? There is also a possibility of some production fault with seating the chip, or the application of thermal paste. Check your warranty/guarantee and see about sending it in to be repaired/replaced.

That's how Prince of Persia should have played, rather than the slow crawl through molasses they turned it into. Looks fast and fun again.

Happy Meal is ageless: no decay in a year on a shelf
Nolan replied to McPhee's topic in General Chit Chat
This reminds me of when my buddy left a pre-made slad in his closet for a year...it turned into a liquid after about 2 months and he was afraid to get rid of it. -

And yet, I still have the same Mickey D's craving I was unable to satisfy since Tuesday. -
Are you paying Insurance by the year? I have to assume so otherwise those are hugely high amounts for any shorter timespan.

The thing I've heard is that those Facebook posts were fake...so he may not have called it magma. But I really don't know.

It's canon in that at some point such a character exists, but it's not canon in that we don't know any of the details.

Pretty close, but not quite the same. I'm glad it's close though.

It's my understanding that it should be more Killer Bee, and Killer Bee is easily the best character of the series.

It's okay, I'd forgive you.

Now, I don't know the prices of what you're looking at but if they're similar to my region. The ATI 5830 is approximately the same price as a GTX275 with very similar performance, along with DX 11 and lower power consumption. The same can be said about the 5850 vs. the GTX285. Those two are my recommendations. I don't really know much about Video Editing and Rendering, but I believe it's very CPU dependant, with the GPU being secondary but still important. PC games to check out, The Witcher which is one of the best RPGs in recent years. Dawn of War 2 is a fantastic RTS along with Company of Heroes. There are other gmaes that just play better on PC as well.

Intel is supporting both sockets for the foreseeable future. Socket 1366 is the highend market (core i7 i9), and also has Triple Channel RAM/Memory Controllers. Socket 1156 is the low-mainstream market (Core i3, i5, i7) and Dual Channel RAM. The northbridge has also been moved onto the processor. On 1156 only the i7's support hyperthreading. The i3's and i5's (6xx series) Pentiums, and Celerons also have graphics integrated in the CPU. The i7's and i5's (7xx series). Only certain motherboards will support those graphics, but all 1156 motherboards will accept the different CPUs. The IGP is reputedly as good as an ATI/Nvidia IGP, so better than Intels usual stuff. I'd type more, but I'm forced to surrender my bed room to my nephew. I'll have plenty to say on GPUs as well, and the comparing the numbers of the cards isn't the way to go.

I enjoyed the gameplay and to an extent the story(moreso than most people I know) of XII, but most characters fall flat enough and the battles are different from normal that I don't readily recommend it.

Or, you could play IV V or VI Tactics or Tactics Advanced 2. VII isn't a bad starting point either....most current fans started with it anyways.
