  1. That's rather quite interesting.

    Halo: Reach

To my knowledge I think Halo 3 may have been started on the Xbox, which means it would be a bit of a port rather than fresh start. They're also more familiar with how the system works, just look at how the PS3 games have progressed as developers began to understand. Of note though, Halo 3 had quite a lot going on under the hood to reduce the graphics. On Legendary no battle will play out the same twice because of the AI. There is also the theater constatly recording every time you play. Missions and multiplayer, and when you watch the films, you can watch what's going on from anywhere you are not restricted to masterchief. With that going on in the background, it's understandable that the game wasn't the best looking. Even so, it wasn't even bad looking outside of fanboy opinions.
  3. I am dumb. I just realized I didn't post the link despite copying it...http://www.commandandconquer.com/classic
  4. EA has added Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun, Tiberian Sun Firestorm, and Red Alert to their list of free C&C games. (The original was already free) These will run on any computer within the last decade, and are great RTS fun.

    Fable III

Meh. I'll give this a miss I have little faith in Lionhead. The menu in Fable II lags, that's unforgivable.

    Halo: Reach

What other game(s) did Halo mimc at the time of it's release? AI most certainly, design....idk Halo 3 has some rather tedious decisions for levels towards the end, and throughout cortona/gravemind talking was terrible. ODST was grand though. BTW the beta hits in the beginning of May. The 5th I think...dunno nothing about regions. My buddy was bored and posted a bunch of Gifs from the Vidoc. Dunno if he made them or not.
  7. Fan belts can be tricky, but you should be able to do it yourself. There should be a diagram of exactly how the belt is on. In my experience you'll also need a wrench for the belt tensioner to pull it into place where the belt is slack. Be careful because this can smack you pretty good it you slip. Make sure you get the right belt as well.

    SNOW!

49 of 50 states in the US have snow on the ground.

    Halo: Reach

You need to get a friend to get a 360, that way you'll have access to whatever 360 exclusives you want and (assuming they don't have a PS3) they'll get access to the PS3 exclusives. It's the perfect plan. God this looks good. The engine is just so improved beyond what 3 managed.
  10. I live cause it's preferable to being dead. Being dead sounds so boring.
  11. Fashion designer come up with the most godawful dumb looking shit. Call it art if you want, but it's still pretty damn dumb looking for something one is meant to wear. BTW I have no artistic values. I think most of it is pure shit so just ignore me. As per usual, death is sad.
  12. HDTVs have been available for much longer than 3 years. Sometime in the 90's I believe is when they started being sold, but at high prices. They've become affordable in the recent years though. With a market that's slow to adopt, an early release gives a longer time for the adoption to continue.
  13. I really don't see what's wrong with not buying whats out in order to wait for what is coming and likely better. It would be sales either way, and selling the new product is more important than moving old inventory. The casual market may not know anything about hardware, but that doesn't meant they don't care about hardware. If marketed properly a slight upgrade could sell. Look at Televisions, everyone and their sister had a good old tube TV, then along comes HDTVs and as soon as they became affordable to the mainstream market their market penetration took off. More and more people are replacing their old SDTVs because someone came along and said, "Hey, HDTVs are awesome, they're really big and the picture is really clear. It's not fuzzy at all" and people went wow that sounds great. Point is, with the media/ads/friends&family starting to talk about the confusing improvements of the Wii, people will get it because it's obviously better than their current Wii so why not upgrade. As long as it's affordable. You've got to remember, these are the people buying shovelware because the blurbs on the box said it's great.
  14. You say that as if Ghost Recon is "Jumping on the bandwagon". Ghost Recon has been modern and slightly future since the series inception You are right though, more games are going Modern rather than WWII
  15. If I know one thing about CoD and GR, they aren't similar. The genre is, war based shooter, but that's as far as it goes.
  16. Since playing Saints Row 2 I've had this stuck in my head. Stars by Hum Audio
  17. Bad name is bad. On-rails or not, I never trust a statement that says the Wii version is being handled by a separate studio, it never ends well.
  18. Crawling into an outhouse planting explosives then being blown out of the outhouse and covering half the town in feces. That one always stuck out in my mind. There are other things like having your liver stolen and needing to find a new one, or being married at a shotgun wedding.
  19. Sounds bloody great to me. Obsidian is making Fallout their own (again-ish). And I called not being from the vault this time.
  20. My I request a change to Nolan as it better fits with everything else I'm signed up with? Edit, Thanks.
  21. You can save yourself some time, read thsi thread, and then know that you're correct. :p
  22. To be fair, the series has always kinda followed the old music playing on something(TV,PA system,Radio,RobotTV combo)in the wasteland/city. Although, the intro(not trailer which I can't find) to number 2 is Vault-Tec video about live in the vault being displayed to Vault Dwellers.
  23. I don't see why anyone would expect them to not have similarities to FO3. It's going to be the same engine and more or less the same gameplay model but with a different setting. I spot me some Geckos though, as well as a Vault 21 jumpsuit. While the jumpsuit could easily be a mod, I don't think Geckos are. Also, a quick google search of Vault 21 yields unfounded crap that it was in Seattle. Besides that though, the Fallout Wiki says it's near Vegas as apparently it's in a screenshot in the March issue of PC Gamer.
  24. Nah Choze is the forum Role Model.
  25. Well nobody is unwatched, there are always mods and admins...they count right?
