  1. Fashion designer come up with the most godawful dumb looking shit. Call it art if you want, but it's still pretty damn dumb looking for something one is meant to wear. BTW I have no artistic values. I think most of it is pure shit so just ignore me. As per usual, death is sad.
  2. HDTVs have been available for much longer than 3 years. Sometime in the 90's I believe is when they started being sold, but at high prices. They've become affordable in the recent years though. With a market that's slow to adopt, an early release gives a longer time for the adoption to continue.
  3. I really don't see what's wrong with not buying whats out in order to wait for what is coming and likely better. It would be sales either way, and selling the new product is more important than moving old inventory. The casual market may not know anything about hardware, but that doesn't meant they don't care about hardware. If marketed properly a slight upgrade could sell. Look at Televisions, everyone and their sister had a good old tube TV, then along comes HDTVs and as soon as they became affordable to the mainstream market their market penetration took off. More and more people are replacing their old SDTVs because someone came along and said, "Hey, HDTVs are awesome, they're really big and the picture is really clear. It's not fuzzy at all" and people went wow that sounds great. Point is, with the media/ads/friends&family starting to talk about the confusing improvements of the Wii, people will get it because it's obviously better than their current Wii so why not upgrade. As long as it's affordable. You've got to remember, these are the people buying shovelware because the blurbs on the box said it's great.
  4. You say that as if Ghost Recon is "Jumping on the bandwagon". Ghost Recon has been modern and slightly future since the series inception You are right though, more games are going Modern rather than WWII
  5. If I know one thing about CoD and GR, they aren't similar. The genre is, war based shooter, but that's as far as it goes.
  6. Since playing Saints Row 2 I've had this stuck in my head. Stars by Hum Audio
  7. Bad name is bad. On-rails or not, I never trust a statement that says the Wii version is being handled by a separate studio, it never ends well.
  8. Crawling into an outhouse planting explosives then being blown out of the outhouse and covering half the town in feces. That one always stuck out in my mind. There are other things like having your liver stolen and needing to find a new one, or being married at a shotgun wedding.
  9. Sounds bloody great to me. Obsidian is making Fallout their own (again-ish). And I called not being from the vault this time.
  10. My I request a change to Nolan as it better fits with everything else I'm signed up with? Edit, Thanks.
  11. You can save yourself some time, read thsi thread, and then know that you're correct. :p
  12. To be fair, the series has always kinda followed the old music playing on something(TV,PA system,Radio,RobotTV combo)in the wasteland/city. Although, the intro(not trailer which I can't find) to number 2 is Vault-Tec video about live in the vault being displayed to Vault Dwellers.
  13. I don't see why anyone would expect them to not have similarities to FO3. It's going to be the same engine and more or less the same gameplay model but with a different setting. I spot me some Geckos though, as well as a Vault 21 jumpsuit. While the jumpsuit could easily be a mod, I don't think Geckos are. Also, a quick google search of Vault 21 yields unfounded crap that it was in Seattle. Besides that though, the Fallout Wiki says it's near Vegas as apparently it's in a screenshot in the March issue of PC Gamer.
  14. Nah Choze is the forum Role Model.
  15. Well nobody is unwatched, there are always mods and admins...they count right?
  16. 403 forbidden.
  17. Grandia - Theme of Grandia Audio Grandia - The Edge of the World Audio
  18. Mundi got it. Obsidian Entertainment are working on New Vegas, they were formed shortly after Black Isle/Interplay were shut down. A few other members formed Troika Games before the shut down, but after 3 good games they were shut down. Obsidian does have a good number of the key Fallout members though. Bethesda is publishing though since they do own the rights to the series. So their name will be on the package regardless.
  19. I'm pretty sure I'm just an avatar, I've been called Dwarf a few times because of it.
  20. Elebits/Eledees Phantom Brave (it's a NIS game after all) Zack and Wiki
  21. Man, Blue Stinger is just bad. No one will hold it against you if you don't finish.
  22. So the only reviews we should take seriously from you don't get rated by bears? Got it. I'll just disregard those other reviews. :p
  23. Not to say that that's wrong, but Nintendo has a history with ATI dating to the N64. I'm not sure what exactly is in the Handhelds other than ARM CPUs. I just don't see them jumping manufacturers though. Of course, I'd be ecstatic to see Tegra 2 (or even Tegra) in the next handheld. The Tegra platform is great. I do think Mark Rein is needlessly hyping though, depending on how you want to look at it, 4 years ago give you the 8800(06) series or 7800/1900(05) series. Depending on which you look at that power surpasses or rivals the 360/PS3. Then again Rein may mean 4 years ago 8400 which is considerably worse than 8800. Of course the funny thing is the Tegra can already do this. Which I'd ventrue is close to an 8400, probably a little worse but likely has a better framerate.
  24. What would a 9/10 be in bears scale?
  25. I think he means a mouse with a game themed skin on it, rather than gaming centric mice. I'm not really sure how common such a thing is though. Especially since most of the games on your list are console games which reduces their likely hood.
