  1. Non-consensual.
  2. Halo 3 campaign is rather boring alone, although it's always a good time co-op. If you get bored of Fallout 3, just take a break and go back to it after a few weeks. Eventually you'll crave the wasteland again.
  3. The story of the first game was nothing special, but at least it didn't pretend to be something like the second game. The second game almost seemed to think we should care about the plot, but it was just so terrible.
  4. They didn't do it that I know of, but it's possible. Seeing as how this is a year and a half after Gears 2 and after the 4th book though, it seems likely they'll do it this time. Now that I think of it, they may have done it with Gears 2, but without reading the books I don't know for sure. Either way it was pretty poor. The scene in question is the ending cutscene when Marcus tries and fails to get Anya on the radio, then looks all sad not entirely unlike Dom trying to find Maria, it hints at some sort of relationship that hte game never really hinted at. Of course after her chopper shows up and she is in view, Marcus just looks like his normal self, not extremely happy of anything, so who knows.
  5. They better not make the mistake of commonly referencing the books without some sort of recap. It's just plain poor story telling to chronologically weave a story between mediums with nothing telling what happened if you happen to skip over one of the mediums.
  6. For whatever other things I can find to complain about, Gears always seems to have great trailers.
  7. I'd buy it. Even if it looked like a PS1 game and played like early 3D games forgoing the analog sticks, it would just be to hilarious to pass up. Even more so if it didn't go to 360 as well.
  8. She brought it from Checkers/Rallys. Are there Checkers in the UK?
  9. My Boss brought me a Burger and Coke. It had bacon on it, and therefore was fucking delicious. I could feel my heart working to keep blood moving through the arteries, but it didn't concern me.
  10. It is a bit crap, but it's classic crap. It's like the bridge between B-Movies and Hollywood.
  11. Big Trouble in Little China is an absolute classic. It's always a good watch.
  12. Stainless steel is pretty much the most common alloy associated with resisting corrosion though, so it's what came to mind.
  13. Are you saying steel can be evolved so it doesn't rust? Amazing, I think we should call it Stainless Steel.
  14. I caught one of them with a great ball. Surprised the hell out of me when it worked.
  15. I don't see what Elliott Gould has to do with anything.
  16. Without having played any of the GBA games, I would say that HG/SS would be very good places to start.
  17. That's not a monkey, it's a gorilla.
  18. Yea, remember the Resident Evil 5 debacle.
  19. Did you not see: It's already happened.
  20. Hmm I think I'll wait for Grey in that case
  21. Ffffff uck.
  22. Gale of Darkness and Platinum.
  23. Ehhhhh They've got quite a bit to make up for from the second game. I can suspend disbelief, but there are some parts of that game that just don't cut it. It was fun regardless.
  24. Well, the outcome is always going to one of 3 choices, you win (via murdering everything) you die, or you run on through (not always applicable). In Halo, you'll get a checkpoint 10 seconds before you drive into a battle, if you die in that battle and restart at the checkpoint EVERYTHING is the same, then you drive back into the battle and try for one of the outcomes. One time you might drive in and get blown up, another you might drive in and run everything over. It differs on what the enemy does as much as on what you do.
  25. However, in Halo those variables can be consistent and fights will still vary considerably compared to other games even if the variables change in other games.
