It's £44 on Simply Games which will probably get you it a day early, is there a reason you're only using high-street stores? What's peoples' experience of Amazon Prime release date deliveries for games? Ever early? Considering changing to Simply Games myself (which would be like the 7th time I've bought BotW)

There's no way it's "more likely". Neither you nor anybody has any certainty on the cause and if we're going to try and apply logic, the only thing we can really say is that it would make no sense to enable a capacity of signal strength that you didn't intend to use, but could activate later by software. If this was something they prepared for, then they would've tested scenarios where it could be necessary. Of course there's no way to know for sure it's not software yet, and there are definitely people overreacting on the other side of the fence, but outlandish claims don't help in either case.

Yeah I suppose you are right, that's how you will add one another, but once added, you will appear in their friends list using your nickname I assume, which is decent. I really like the nickname method, similar to how Blizzard does it, you get to have any name you like. Presumably if there's two of you you get assigned a number to separate you...

I'm getting it delivered to work. Didn't really occur to me that it's a Friday, if it doesn't arrive I won't get it til Monday! The user ID doesn't really matter though right, that's just for logging in like an email address. Beyond that you have your nickname, which can have capitals.

Except that in this case they have specifically talked about not making a remake. Also it's an awful lot bigger than anything that's been remade so far. Check if your laptop can run it! Must be dirt cheap now. Nobody you could borrow a console from? If you lived nearby I'd lend you an Xbox 360 and all 3 games in a heartbeat as they're only collecting dust.... I'd put Mass Effect way up there, maybe above, any of the other amazing games you missed out on last generation.

I think that optimism might be misplaced... you'd be better off looking for a cheap way to play the originals. Just seen the figures @Happenstance preordered, noticed the heroes... they have first names? Are those canon?

They know that Zelda is selling this console... heck even my boss is thinking of getting one because he loved Zelda as a kid, and he hasn't owned a console since the Snes. All people like him need is a gentle reminder that it's out soon, and a glimpse of what makes the device worth it. Also you need to pay more attention to recent PC/PS4/Xbox One trailers because I think you'll find what a lot of them these days actually say is Actual in-game footage, as a twist on that old disclaimer because in-game engine now looks good enough to sell games on.

Worried that I'm getting Zelda from amazon but the console from Nintendo. What if one arrives but not the other? ;_;

I knew this game had promise when it was shown but to be honest, I didn't expect them to deliver. Looks great though. Definitely going to get it when I feel there's space in my gaming diary!

I did this a few years ago before there were actual options on the website, and I did actually have someone visit me. I flat out refused to let them in, but then I made sure it was absolutely clear I wasn't using the TV (unplugged the cable box, put it away, took away any old-style aerials), and when they came back a few weeks later, I let them look and they agreed it was ok. However, now Netflix etc is more popular, and the option easier online, I think more and more people are doing this, and they can no longer actually afford to arrange visits to check.

I too got an upgrade item on my 7th stop streak. Now I can make Porygon 2 I've been using the Pinap berry and along with a couple of walks through the park on the way to work, have enough Houndours for an evolve, too. Pinap seems to work like Razz, in that if they escape a pokeball once, it cancels the effect. Confused by this... when could you ever not? Except before you had any Great Balls.

Yep. Seriously. I've never played a game in a single stretch like I did Stardew Valley. I think I played it for fourteen hours one day.
