Hope you all enjoy your new systems! Meanwhile my copy of Zelda didn't even arrive despite supposedly dispatching on Wednesday. Edit: reserved a copy of Zelda from argos too, I'm definitely getting this by the end of the day no matter what :p I can return either copy to Argos later....

You're not wrong, but it's very different to any other Superhero shows I can think of. It's an individual mutant from the X-Men universe, the story focuses around whether or not he's crazy, he won't be doing any heroics any time soon. It's from Noah Hawley, who gave us the Fargo TV series.

I've been watching it, it's pretty decent, wonderfully unique and grown up for a superhero show, but I'm tired by the lack of plot progression. Also the CG at the end of the pilot was so bad it really took me out of it.

Yeah, this is different to my case though. Some tracking numbers have been incorrectly assigned when they're actually coming by Hermes, so the code doesn't work at all, whereas mine just indicates no progress. I'm getting one by the end of the day anyway, so as long as Simply Games hasn't let me down, I'll be on Zelda tonight regardless! Even if my Neon console arrives from NUK today, their handling of the process has been very poor considering the time they had to prepare, so I don't think I'll use them again.

Because on 'gaf, some peoples have: a) got detailed tracking info b) already got theirs and me? I'm at c) I'm not going without a Switch all weekend after getting this hyped used Paypal credit to buy one from Argos.

Cheers @Blade, I work near the city centre one though, I just tried to order one but my card was decline haha. I guess it looks suspicious charging the same amount to a different store.... Think I'm just gonna accept I'm getting it some time next week. Nintendo UK have been an absolute joke, I won't order anything from their online store ever again.

I don't think I'm getting mine today. My tracking on NUK doesn't even indicate it's been received by Royal Mail. You made the right decision, @Serebii Tempted to change to Grey and pick one up at Argos.

Just rang my cc company and checked, the payment is queued and nothing is holding it up, so thats a relief! Just want that magical word to appear on NUK now.... Hmmm, nah :p Would rather never have the console than give GAME a penny.

I think it's time to manage my launch day delivery expectations Zelda didn't arrive today which is very unusual for Simply Games. If Royal Mail 1st class is taking 2 days to get me Zelda, there's no reason to think the same won't happen for the Switch (if it ever even dispatches). For now I may as well just hold out hope that it arrives Monday.

It's the only way I'll be able to add people, I don't have friends or have interests in making friends with people in the other listed games/services. Admittedly I don't care about this particularly because I won't be using the device in this way, but it's still a joke. Whether or not there's a reason for it, DeNA or whatever, isn't really relevant. It shows more of that disconnect between themselves, and their competitors who have been doing it right for over a decade. That said, it's very early days. We're talking about before the system has even launched. You've only been able to register an ID on your Nintendo account for a matter of days. Maybe tying the two together will come in a software update very soon. Heck, maybe the user in the screenshot hasn't even linked the device to their account.

It's said that all along @Dyson and I ordered minutes after it being available. Mine's just changed status this morning though, I'm fairly certain they will ship it by DPD soon. I might ask work if I can have a flexible lunch break tomorrow, basically take it as soon as the Switch arrives :p

To be fair Nintendogs is a joke that taints an otherwise still fairly short list. It's true though. If you throw around your maximum score you undermine yourself. It's the individual publications' fault, not ours for pointing it out. Skyward Sword's 10 in Edge is a perfect representation of this. They were really claiming it was better than Majora's Mask, and now they're saying BotW is only as good as it? Kinda shooting themselves in the foot.

Only if you opened with that presumptuous flamebait of a first sentence would you get any trouble with that in the Switch thread.
