I loved Infinite, the setting, plot and acting/NPC interaction were top notch. I loved it so much I bought an expensive limited edition poster to remind me of it. But objectively, the original did something special with the atmosphere and story that Infinite did not completely recapture.

It has no real point except for an extra scene or two. P4G probably had the closest to teammate reaction in its bonus content.

General Election 2017 - MJ popcorn gif edition

What a brave move considering the strong, unified opposition they will face. -
I'm certainly glad there's a lot more towns than previous entries, but it's definitely not the strongest feature of Breath of the Wild's map. Compared to towns in Witcher, Skyrim etc, the few we do have are more fun and lively, but very small and fairly few. This is a big part of what I'm hoping they can expand on given the new engine they've started this generation with, and the boost from rediscovered extra-high-praise/enthusiasm for the series. A jam-packed killer sequel should be a no-brainer!

I got so annoyed by the SP drain in palace 5, I did end up giving up and leaving. I bought the SP Adhesive 3 and went back in with that which helped a little.

I'm loving this game but there's too much handholding compared to previous entries. You can't so much as miss a dungeon map because your teammates will point it out. Everything is explained to you in simple terms. Still fantastic though, the story is great. It has some really long stretches with little interaction that make it more like a VN than previous games, but the characters are as likeable as ever so they carry it along. So much to do in the overworld, it's great! I'm on the fifth dungeon now and difficult has ramped comfortably along the way. Looking forward to bringing the story together soon!

You have a dvd from central street Shibuya yeah? Then you just check the TV, may have to check if twice (first time just sums up what's on tv)

The only thing I'll say negative about this game (aside from the cat) is that it's a bit of a shame how much they give away by leading into each part of the story with hints and background info. It's supposed to be from the protagonist's perspective but we get snippets of footage from the bad guys, future party members, etc., it saps away at the mystery a little.

Don't you... have to fuse Arsene as part of the story? Pretty sure he's the only fusion available when it's introduced, he even has a unique line. I resummoned him right away but he hardly gets any new abilities.

Nah you don't stick with them. They stop getting new moves after a bit. Just move on to newer better ones whenever possible!

I think it's Zelda through and through. I don't think Zelda should be judged purely on how the atmosphere compares to the last 2-3/your favourite Zelda games, but the series as a whole which has evolved immensely over 20+ years. Zelda 1 doesn't have the atmosphere of Wind Waker, so is it not a Zelda game? Of course there are aspects that feel sparse that bring you away from the Zelda-ness, but those are demerits of the game itself, not its qualification as a series entry. The puzzles, music, controls and combat, boss fights, items and abilities and the character/humour of the NPCs puts this solidly in its place in the Zelda world in my mind.

Sounds like I need to get back into this! I sort of gave up on it in the middle of the previous season. I was finding it hard to keep caring about the ups and downs of Simmons and Daisy.

You'll be disadvantaged if you watch LC because it's so boring you'll be too full of regrets of wasting your life watching that to enjoy Defenders. LC appeared in JJ so you've met him. IF punches stuff. There, you're caught up.

I love your optimism when these things come up :p

I started off thinking "at least it's better than Luke Cage" but ultimately just stopped watching around ep 6, it's just really not very gripping at all, you don't find yourself caring about any characters.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

Not doing a very good job of it apparently... reminder, we have a Spoiler-Free thread: http://n-europe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=59093 -
Play this yesterday evening... not very much just for 10-15 minutes. It feels a lot like BK, but I guess I didn't feel much compulsion to keep playing, probably just because I'm in the middle of a certain top tier RPG right now, or because I only got this right now because I was a backer. If trying to control the camera with the right stick, I did notice things quickly got out of hand and it was better to just leave the camera alone where possible. The snake's "voice" was annoying. Other than that, it was fun and felt a lot like I'd gone back in time to the N64 era... but much prettier.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U / Switch

You can go into the castle whenever you want, scrounge around for treasure and then escape, without initiating the endgame. Kinda wish I'd known this. Anyway, in there is plenty of decent shields. -
I love it on TV but I've also played it plenty on remote and it works a charm there. I've moved my sofa just for this game though so I'm closer and it's bigger :p That's literally just the one from the in-game tutorial I mentioned The last thing I would want to do in Persona, is read external guides! Do the best you can on your first runthrough but accept anything you get wrong/miss, make it your own experience. I do share your annoyance at Morgana though. It was the same in P4 in terms of there being some restrictions but having the cat tell you that you can't do anything is quite annoying. And I think the number of days you're restricted to just sleeping seems to have increased. I hit late fees on DVDs several times because I just ended up in several day streaks where you couldn't return it if you wanted to.

P4 didn't have the talking mechanic, this is borrowed heavily from the main Shin Megami Tensei games.

I don't think it's random (I imagine someone will make a list of responses that always work on certain shadows) but I do think that some responses are perhaps lost in translation/strain to retain the same meaning and the same tone that matches the suggestion.

@Daft have you looked at the in-game tutorial regarding personalities?
