So Yooka-Laylee and Mass Effect may have put a dampener on this otherwise stellar list. Neither game is bad by any means, they just both generated such high expectations and then struggled to meet them. In both instances, it seems deadlines and budgets probably got in the way of an otherwise flawless delivery.

I'm sure this is standard but to me it seems BS that reviewers get the game before backers. I mean, the game wouldn't exist without us, we can't back out of our purchase anyway, if the game is ready, give it out to the people who paid for it.

Just got back from watching this. It was a funny, enjoyable romp that took a little while to warm up and then ploughed through the main act but all the while being very entertaining. Easily a cut above anything like Transformers. Billy's lines were brilliant. The nostalgia and callbacks were awesome too. The minor twist with Zordon really carried the story well. I don't know if its the screen I watched it on but I found a lot of the movie dark, blurry and hard to follow. Especially the bit at the quarry at night at the beginning. Or maybe I was just tired I hope any sequels don't just rush into a long action-adventure piece and continue to explore character a bit.

A very solitary experience.... I think you were playing Pokemon Go wrong, in the prime this was the most sociable game I ever saw. Groups of people wandering around the park, running together to catch something special. People met up via facebook etc and made groups. People went out with their friends, family, even work colleagues on walks with the sole intention of catching pokes. I don't know what a match attax is or how anyone has room for duplicates but I just think it would be abused and nobody would ever catch pokemon for real anymore.

I don't really see the point in trading in this game. Collecting them is almost the game's only function. Make that easier and you lose its entire purpose.

I put the Japanese voices on for a bit but you have to be prepared to forego a lot of lines. There's no additional subtitles (unsurprisingly) so things like... short snippets about how strong an enemy is, or little quips at the end of battles, you don't get a translation for. Fortunately the English voices, at least for the main cast, seem totally fine. Fit in another couple of hours last night, this game is really somethin'.

Wanted to play this all weekend but ultimately only managed ten or so hours. Wonderful game so far. Insanely stylish. Overworld seems huge compared to previous outings. Can't wait to play some more In fact I've brought my Vita into work so I can play on my lunch :p

FYI you need a capture card to do that because streaming using PS4 Share has been locked out.

I feel like the VA was very hit and miss. Zelda I hated at first but it grew on me. And it wasn't so much that it was bad, just not fitting. The young Goron too, and his was mostly because it doesn't fit that "huh? uhhhh..." sound we've been attributing to Gorons since OoT. Also didn't think much of the Zora champion. All the rest were totally fine with me though. I'd probably switch to Japanese in a heartbeat were it an option.

We need more good stuff in the world, surely something good has happened to someone recently? It's April tomorrow, who has a payrise in the works? The weather is nice so I've started walking home from work, killer hill but good for the legs! Persona 5 is out soon, a game series I really love. I'm finally controlling my junk food habits (although might reward myself with a bit of wine tonight). I'm DM'ing a D&D game and the last session went really well. I'm selling a bunch of stuff on ebay and gradually clawing out of my credit card debt. One guy I thought was leaving my work now isn't, which is good because I thought that would make my job harder.

It's a free apk right, as long as you didn't get some dodgy modified version, if the IAP purchase is available for you, I don't see how it could matter. If the IAP works, you're golden.

If I'm honest I think a lot of reviews must've been written before they actually got to the endgame. The exploration has a wonderful atmosphere to it and the game does fantastic things for Zelda. It's like the difference between ALttP and OoT. It also undoes a lot of awful misdirections the series went through in the last two games, like Phi warning you that your wii-mote batteries are dying or you need to take a break. At the same time, it falls short of a perfect polish. I still maintain that it's an unfinished game. There wasn't enough testing to point out the flaws with not recharging abilities/master sword before they're depleted. And there wasn't enough time or budget to add another couple of towns or fill the ruins with lore. Hyrule Castle hinted at what could've been done in every dungeon, but wasn't. And if anything, I know Nintendo will know this. In an ideal world, they're squirreling away on DLC that ramps Hyrule up to 11, or a sequel that takes everything they've already got, and starts it as a base for an even richer experience.

If you disliked P4... unless it was based on an overwhelming hate for procedurally generated dungeons... I wouldn't imagine this one would suit you really! I hope otherwise though.

I'm totally broke and really shouldn't buy any games, but I'm not cancelling my pre-order for this. I want it more than I wanted Zelda.

A lot of TVs are set up ready to be displayed in a shop or something, usually with all kinds of odd options like fake HFR to make football look better or whatever. Have you tried looking online for suggestions for your specific model? There's usually some post on avforums.com or similar that will suggest an exact set of options, per TV and per application. I hope this is not true :/ three values is not analogue. They really dropped the ball with analogue triggers imo.

So can you get the bad ending, then go back and get everything you need, and do it again, easily enough without losing anything? Is it worth the effort or just watch a video online instead or something?

That's a shame. I feel like it's often overlooked because it was a big commercial success and very popular among schoolkids etc... but I think it's still a pretty good story. I'd be curious to know how far you both got?

What LL are you? I'm sure we could get you through Normal mode.

Why aren't you interested in Naruto? I think you'd like it if you like One Piece. The pacing is nowhere near as bad and it has an ending.

My Switch crashed playing Zelda yesterday Basically the system UI functions stopped working. I was taking captures and not getting notifications, but I didn't think too much of it. Then, I reached something in Zelda that required me to use the system keyboard and the game just froze completely. I couldn't get it to sleep or anything, only able to shut down by holding power.
