Amazingly, hopefully not getting ahead of myself, this movie seems to be getting actual positive feedback! Review embargo hasn't lifted yet but tweeting a general opinion by those who've had a sneak preview has been allowed and people are saying positive things. I've been thinking about just buying a big CD wallet for all my Xbox 360 games. I'd probably only end up getting rid of the lot anyway, so why not keep it, but taking up 1% of the space?

There's a real good feeling that comes from getting rid of stuff. It's hard and you constantly think that you'll revisit that collection one day or when you're old and rich you can have a games room and just hang out in there with your grandkids or something but... I'd rather be clutter free. I've been on a bit of a charity-shop/tip clearout myself lately and it's quite refreshing. Plus far enough in the future everything will probably be disk free/streamed and backwards compatible so we can rebuild our collection.

I just sold my copy of the Wii U game, it went for a reasonable price. I only played it once or twice, thought it was really terrible tbh, especially compared to the first outings on the Wii.

Anyone experienced it in the last couple of hours? I was running some new maintenance processes but now I've set them to only run between 2300 and 0700 Edit; just seen it happen myself so it wasn't the cause. Not sure what's going on but may have a fix coming up in the future.

The game is fantastic. I maintain that there isn't as much of a buzz because people don't want spoilers. They don't want to chat about the game until they've finished it. And it took me over 120 hours to finish it. Even by the time you get to the end, it was such a sprawling tale that it's hard to stop and reflect on much but the ending, so you're going to be hiding that in spoiler tags if you have the energy to discuss it at all. Personally Persona games are a personal (...yea I'm keeping that) experience and I'm not that interested in discussing or gushing over it. Simply it was a natural evolution for the series, ramping up the style and animation, bringing in a load of new features and taking out the random aspect of the dungeons. It doesn't beat P4G for me, but it was a fantastic entry to the series. To answer your last question, no it's probably not worth only playing a third of, there's a long drawn out opening and you won't meet most of the players or uncover any of the mystery so...

Probably the caching, we had to ramp it up a bit as the servers were taking quite a hit for a while. Might still happen from time to time.

Just get it, it's great, addictive, a total ripoff of Harvest Moon but in a homage kind of way, and with a bunch of modern improvements.

So instead of giving up, just keep doing that? Sounds pretty good anyway and maybe the right girl will appear unexpectedly. If we call the things you described A, B and C, have you tried staying at B for a while and not bringing up C at all? It may not be the healthiest suggestion but it worked for me, and if all else is failing you.... Other possibility, look at or even ask the girls why you weren't C material. If a lot say (even after coaxing an honest answer at the expense of your feelings) that they're just not looking for anything serious, then maybe you're going for the wrong girls. Or maybe like job interview feedback there's something there for you to learn and improve on.

Who's gone for plat? Do you need to look up any of the secret trophies to feasibly do it on your NG+ playthrough?

I bought a screen protector and I was thinking, I don't really want to put the thing on my screen just to protect it from the dock.... then I wondered if I could just turn it round and stick it to the inside of the dock instead.... But would the front of a screen protector damage a screen?? :p

Different languages for voices only is great. Looking forward to playing through it again with Japanese VAs. I haven't played much since I finished it, but my g/f is playing it a lot! A great introduction to gaming, I think by the end of it her dual analogue skills and gaming puzzle solving will have gone up tenfold. In early Switch days, I saw someone on 'gaf say they got their Switch back from Nintendo and it was wiped, but then a cloud icon appeared and it downloaded some saves. Guess that's not happened for you then?

I wish they would just centralise Miis. Why did I have to make a Mii on my Switch, didn't I make one on the Wii? On Miitomo? On the 3DS? Miitomo could effectively be the home of your account's avatar, that you customise and update the console version of yourself on the fly.

Do you have to turn off assisted steering every game, after the countdown, like you used to have to do with motion controls?

Yeah it took me a while to even figure that one out, you can do it with Square on the Stats menu.

Over a hundred hours and I only just found out you can change party members at any time, not just in a safe room. Not really reading this thread now because of people talking a lot about the end game, but I'll be back to do so very soon! Currently just trying to get the last few social links finished in time, but I'm not sure I'll be able to. Wondering if I should max out all five stats for NG+ instead.

I'm just half-serious :p I'm speaking up in defense of the first game. Which may have aged clunkily in terms of gameplay, but still set precedent and introduced most of the series' strongest characters, did some of the best cause/effect decision making. To rank that behind the third game is madness to me. In truth, I probably need to play this game and make my own mind up. Whilst I'm worried it'll disappoint me, I loved the original trilogy enough that I have to find out for sure.
