I can't cancel Zelda bought with my Switch through Nintendo's store they don't do any amendments to an order once it's been placed. Meaning I'd have to cancel my Switch (and then obviously not be able to get one, because it's sold out) to cancel the game. I guess I can return it when it arrives, at cost to me... ridiculous.

This is interesting: After the free-trial period, most games will require a paid online service subscription from Nintendo in order to play online.

The idea that you can't listen to game audio and chat audio through headphones is just insane.

I'll be using another console for Netflix so it can be Switch controller charging time >.>

I kinda preordered the LE assuming it would be good, only just looked at what's in it, what a load of crap :p cancelled and pre-ordered the regular edition at that Prime price.

I preordered from amazon, then cancelled. Then it sold out, and I felt a bit of PSVR deja vu. So I put another pre-order on Nintendo. IMO, best to have the pre-order you can cancel within the next 6 weeks, than decide you want it and not be able to.

Kodi is a media player, latest iteration of XBMC, built mainly for playing personal media and being highly portable, but can be sideloaded onto a firestick (basically just Android on a dongle for £20-£25 with a nice remote) and with plugins can be used for streaming from other sources. Obvs we don't advocate anything illegal so I'm not going to explain how to do anything Kodi wasn't built for and you should of course never do that.

Bloody hell man, three PS4s and you can't splash out on something a bit nicer for your piracy habits, like a firestick with kodi? :p Console browser... you masochists.

So lemme get this right, with the console bought out of the box and no extras, I'd have to stop playing on my TV in order to charge the controllers? Can you keep playing on the TV with the Switch in "portable" mode?

Well my hype is dead. Pre-order cancelled.

I figured as much, which is why my excitement isn't completely extinguished. I hope there is at least one or two more surprises in the pipeline. That first reveal of the Switch got me so hyped, can't wait to see more. (Although, won't be getting up at 4am for it cos yknow... I have a job and stuff).

The rumour list is the first thing to turn down my excitement levels to be honest. There's nothing there to grab my interest beyond what I was expecting anyway. I guess I really just constantly hope for one particular series to return and am always disappointed....

It's a nice display item but I've seen etsy-made wooden ones that felt more true-to-life. I found it funny when they talked about the complexity of hanging it on your wall, like nobody ever hung anything heavy on a wall before. I'm sure it's not heavier than a huge mirror for example.
