What do you find terrible about it? I hate the apps personally. Especially the way they mix in paid content with included content. Had the same issue with the music service.

Well it really depends how well the touch screen is implemented. Of course I can see great ways it could be utilized, but no guarantee it would. The PS4 port is very straight port, not very much changed, leads to some slow saving speeds and some bugs at launch with the cursor (far too minor to affect your enjoyment). So going by that... the touch screen might get very minimal use. Shame we don't live in the golden era of XBLA anymore when every game of this ilk had a free demo!

Well I thought that at first and was disappointed there wasn't a Vita version - but tbh perfectly happy playing it on my sofa for hours on end so it must be doing something right. Controls are a bit fiddly at first but become second nature after a while.

I played Stardew Valley on New Years Day for... I think... about 12-13 hours. Never, ever done that in my life.

Dirk Gently is fun and easy viewing, I liked it a lot. Great break from the norm. I also thought Travelers was brilliant. Way, way better than that trailer makes it seem. @Sméagol if you didn't try it, you should. I started The OA but put off by a few peoples' comments on the way the story goes, might leave it....

^ didn't realise there was different demo content! I liked this demo a lot. It's more of the same, but that's okay. It's a strange game, a weird almost incomplete feeling, but I really like the controls and the atmosphere of it, and the big HD visuals bring it to life.

Where are you guys even seeing this jailbreak info? Assuming you're specifically talking about jailbreak (iOS) and not rooting (Android). The reason I ask is that it works on my device and I never did anything special, although do already have a tweak that helps for other apps. If you jailbreak, I'm surprised if you're bothered by this as opposed to just grabbing a free tweak and bypassing it....

There may be no IAP now, but I imagine if it does well there'll be extra level packs for a couple of quid etc.

There are always workarounds for this, there is for PoGo. Utter tripe... I have had a jailbroken phone since it was possible, gives me 10x the functionality of a base install, and I've never pirated a single thing. The jailbreak community basically invents 90% of the functionality of the nest iOS update before Apple came along with it, including the app store itself! Also you couldn't even use jailbreaking to pirate this game, since it has the always on DRM and the game is bought via IAP.

Feels more difficult than ever to trust reviews online. Everything looks good at 4-5 stars then you see complaints on their facebook page and people talking about being bribed to remove negative reviews.... So I was wondering if anyone had any bluetooth headphones they recommend? I'm mostly interested in earbuds rather than any over-ear types, and good battery life. I've seen some that claim 8 hours, which would be great because that would last most of a full day at work plus travel time. Inline controls (play/pause & volume) also a must. That might be your issue, the amount of data used is clearly the issue for several people above you. Personally I am always online so it's not an issue to me.

Checking if your phone is online is a ping, a handshake, shouldn't be more than a few bytes. Uploading data like scoreboards, save configurations etc, might be a few dozen kilobytes. Only if there's some kind of asset upload like videos, images is there likely to be more than a megabyte of data.

Real games I will play for hours on end... but this is a mobile game. Meant for a quick dip in like every other mobile game I've ever played. I'll open it for a few minutes on the bus probably, the rest of the time I'll be on wifi.

I have a comically small amount of data and I'm not worried in the slightest. It's not like you need to be playing the game every second once you've got it...
