Wii for children- Says Richard Brunois ( Sony of France )ً

Recommended Posts

“(Overgame asked if Sony was worried about Wii) No because I think that we have different strategies, addressed of very different consumers. Nintendo has an enormous know-how on the play and the gameplay. Miyamoto is a large character of this industry, he can make incredible games. But we do not have at all same philosophy in terms of promise on the object in itself. We place ourselves more on the side of what Americans call entertainment, the leisure in general and includes/understands the play, of course, but also the music, the cinema and connectivity with the network. Nintendo is placed rather on the play, Mario and Zelda. They are addressed to the children and to the gamers first hour. It is that their public.”

that part is hilarious. He is basicaly saying that nintendo make icredible games that u play...................and sony entertain..........what?

anyway does anyone really give 2 craps about what sony of france think?

We all say Sony keep stealing things. Here's another thing they stole. This 'kiddy gameconsole maker' argument was started by Sega originally during the Megadrive era. :p

and at least sega did it properly having a half naked man in the front of the mega lauch box(altered beast) and came up with good slogans like sega do what nintendon't..........what does sony come up with?

'We place ourselves more on the side of what Americans call entertainment'

'Nintendo is placed rather on the play'

If its only ids that play nintendo games then why do we have nintendo magazines..with adults who play these games?

I mean just look at the review of NSMB on ONM, adults still love mario.

He said that these adult games will be a one off, why would they be if the gameplay is so new and (probably) good, why just leave it as that then go away, im sure Red Steel and loads of other games will sell loads and meaning theyll make more games

One last point, if the Wii is for kids why was the queue a E3 4 Hours to wait for one go of the Wii, ad all the audience of E3 has to be 18 or older?

So it takes years to implement a tilt sensor? Technology that was originally used in Kirby's Tilt and Tumble on the Game Boy Colour 6 years ago and took about 18 months to develop? If you say so

Hey look, I can extremely exaggerate the truth too:

"The PS2 is for kids that want to seem cool"

So it takes years to implement a tilt sensor? Technology that was originally used in Kirby's Tilt and Tumble on the Game Boy Colour 6 years ago and took about 18 months to develop? If you say so

I also thought that as soon as I read it.

Also, what about the Gamecubes uncensored BMX XXX ey Sony? And has anyone that doesn't own a Gamecube actually know what Killer7 is?

I fear this is something that will never go away, every time Nintendo seems to be on track and competitors feel treathened, they always pull out this "joker" card and do this kind of campaign against Nintendo just to remind the casual player.

Nintendo plays too clean to win against this kind of shit.

What, so no children own a ps2?

If anything, its mostly the kids who own PS2's simply to be more like adults and alot older.

Sony are retards, does it really matter who play their consoles or anyone elses?

Afterwards, it is a question of choice…It is not because we saw Nintendo announcing this functionality that in six months Sony immediately started to develop something. In six months, it is impossible; this kind of project takes years.â€

You sure? How come only one title supported this at E3? And how come with the first controller design (the banana), it didnt have this technology?

Im officially convinced now Sony DID infact copy nintendo.

Riiiiiiiiidge Racer!
