Cube Posted March 5, 2007 Share Posted March 5, 2007 Sonic and Mario are equal as far as the original 2D games are concerned.That reminds me, I still need to complete all 2Ds but the 1st Sonic:heh:.....Usually get a little bored of 2 (NOT because it's boring, I just played it LOADS as a kid with my bro as Tails, good times:D) I think the 2D Sonics were better, but I'd accept that they are both as great as each other (I'm just not fond of the 2D Mario games). I mean its kinda cool, but the actual Starfox bits are purely dog fights...no courses or anything. I like the touch strategy bits though. ....Why can I smell dog food. Played my mates version when it first came out quite a few times but I could never get into it. I think overall super mario world is the best 2d of both but i hated yoshi's island and i think sonic had more great titles but not one as good as mario world so meh im divided For some reason I never actually liked the original.
