So I can’t mention The Witcher 4 being announced as coming to Switch 2, or Microsoft allowing new Conker & Banjo games to come to a Nintendo console, or Mario smacking the snot out of Master Chief in a new Smash Bros game?  A Chrono Trigger remake? Or even a collection of old point & click games (Toonstruck, Monkey Island, etc) to show off the mouse?  😃

Fine, a new 3D Zelda game, but showcasing a realistic Zelda as playable & with abilities similar to what we’ve come to expect from Link (so not just focused on magic) & hinting at a raft of recognisable villains from the series.

For me, it's the next 3D Zelda. Just a tease. I've touched on it a few times before, but it's seriously my dream game at this point:

• A map around 2x the scale of Ocarina of Time (note: scale, not size); a seamless, whole new open world (imagine the transitions filled in). 
• more of a focus on character and settlement interaction.
• multiple threads you can follow, quests of varying sizes, and a main story which is more like Princess Mononoke in that you're effectively coming across these different factions who are trying to manage, control, or gain from the same situation in different ways, while you're a neutral third-party trying - and failing - to keep the peace. 
• the "Dark World" twist of this game is essentially the ending of Princess Mononoke, but this time around halfway through, where everything turns to chaos as factions start to get what they want and what were once skirmishes now turn into all-out war. Epilogue/post-game finally delivers the "making a better place" ending that BotW promised and TotK didn't really deliver on (also basically the ending of Princess Mononoke )
• Traditional dungeons return. Can be tackled in any order, as can the interactions with the different settlements and factions. 
• Art style like the animated opening cutscene of the Link's Awakening remake (think 90s anime).
• Some bosses out in the open world are more puzzle-like than the mini-bosses in BotW/TotK, think of the fights with the Constructs in TotK but then explored in a bunch of ways, like a modern, Zelda take on the colossi from Shadow of the Colossus (which is what I originally thought the Divine Beasts were going to be in BotW).
• Jumping returns, but climbing and the physics systems are gone (saved for a future open world Zelda, the true BotW/TotK successor). 

I think there's a really nice middle ground they can aim to strike between the 3D Zeldas of old and the colossal open world of BotW and TotK. So, fingers crossed!

We already know that one can’t be true, because the FCC filings mention the requirement for a 65w charger while docked.

It's still a sequel to WarioWare: D.I.Y for me.  

But there are many others that I'd like to see make a return as well, F-Zero, Pilotwings, Nintendogs, Star Fox, Chibi-Robo, Wii Music, Tingle's Rupeeland, Jam with the Band, Balloon Fight, Excite Truck etc... You know? All the highly successful/super popular Nintendo franchises.
To be fair, I'd be including both Tomodachi Collection and Rhythm Tengoku in that list, but obviously no longer need to.

Basically, anything that's quirky, or creative (preferably both ) is what I'll be keeping an eye out for during the Direct.

Damn, I'm actually starting to get a bit hyped...

I should know better by now.
