I can't believe that one side had literally the worst person to ever exist - literally the worst candidate ever (I don't think this is even hyperbole - he is a convicted felon, a rapist, a child rapist, a racist, can barely talk, can't read, and is circling Death's drain), and still there were millions who were like "nah, I couldn't possibly vote for a woman".

Misogyny is underselling it though. There’s also far too many that outright agree with the shitshow, or still others (though fewer) that didn’t like the handling of Palestine or Ukraine and decided to throw away their voice on not voting or a 3rd party. 

I’ve heard a trans woman whine about that and insinuate not wanting to vote Dem because of the handling of Palestine. Like okay sure, life will definitely get better for you thinking like that.

Trump just crashed the entire stock market everywhere. That's insane but furthermore, he showed off a formula for calculating tariffs for individual regions, it reads:

Now, this looks complicated but they put Epsilon to 4 and Phi to 1/4, so multiplying them gets rid of them. Seriously, did they just publish a formula with redundant stuff just to make it look more complicated?? A relatively civilised country does this so blatantly?? Jeez!

The tariff situation is a mess and terrifying in its own way, but this is what genuinely pissed me off.

Tangentially related but had horrible flashbacks to when I invigilated an exam and a formula was wrong so the academic sent an email with the new one and I had to copy it onto paper (no printer in the random venue we were in) for each student and was terrified I'd get it wrong. 

Maths has never been my strong point and that's why I don't set tariff policy.
