The game is easily one of the better Sonic titles in recent years and I’m happy to see it arrive on HD platforms.

A few animated shorts will also be launching to tie into the game.

We forgetting Nintendo is guilty of this too?

(And as an aside, seem to be getting worse)

People would've liked Paper Mario: Colour Splash if it was actually spelt like that.

I was thinking of the Game Boy Color

Speaking of Colour Splash (ok not really...) I was watching the Chase the other day (don't judge me) and one of the questions was "The Origami King was a popular video game in what Nintendo franchise?" Most people would guess Mario, but still, pretty obscure!

That's nothing!

That show asked some poor sap to identify a Mario villain.

The answer was Wart.

Poor guy never stood a chance!

I like that in this thread about a Sonic game there's now more posts about Mario than Sonic. It's like the 90s all over again.

But the original was called Sonic Colours in Europe, and this version will be called Sonic Colours: Ultimate in Europe.

I'd love it they called it Sonic Colors: Ltimate in Europe just to screw with us.

Looks like standard price is £35 on all platforms, ShopTo are discounting the PlayStation/Xbox versions but not Switch

I have loved every recent Sonic game, even the ones that have been panned. But I could never get on with this despite it being regarded as one of the better ones.
Will definitely give it a go though!

Good for fans of the brain dead Boost Sonic games.  And good on SEGA for spelling their game correctly! (I’m looking at YOU Paper Mario Koloor Splash!)

I'll be buying this AND Sonic Origins (for Switch).

Never played this, but I like the 3D Sanics so unless there's something dramatically wrong with it I'm sure I'll enjoy this one.

And I've played the Mega Drive Sanics and CD over 9000 times but it has been a little while and buying them for Switch gives me another excuse to play them again.

I'm actually more looking forward to Origins than Colours. I hope they are all modern versions with more options similar to the mobile versions. Although in the reveal trailer S3&K wasn't widescreen so 3&K is probably emulated. :(
