Glad I went to @Vileplume2000 earlier. Forgot about the time change and thought i had an extra hour to get to @Glen-i  oh well I got 1,000 turnips.

Fucking Summertime stole an hour of my life.

Prices were 91 on my island. I had my (old fashioned) alarm set to 10.. Woke up, barely, did my rounds, collecting shells, shaking some trees, hitting rocks etc. At 10:34 I noticed the game was set to 11:34 for some strange reason. I was thinking maybe I had set a clock incorrectly or.. It was that fucking time of the year again. Unfortunately online chatter confirmed the latter suspicion. So I had less than an half hour to make money, and the Resident Service center was closed. I only bought 850 Turnips.

Similar story for me. A late realisation that it was Sunday and a quick 20 minute scramble meant I only managed to get 290 turnips at 109 bells a pop
