f00had Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Nope! Do not want! A car like that is bound to have poor acceleration, and I just can't cope with taking an eternity to get up to speed whenever I get hit. Cool that it's in though! Whack some of those baby roller wheels on and you get the best of both worlds.
Glen-i Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Whack some of those baby roller wheels on and you get the best of both worlds. Good point. But inside drift is going to win over anyway for me. Which makes me think I won't be using any of these novel karts... Oh well, I bought this for the tracks. And also Link. Because it's Link in Mario Kart. It's just so bizarre.
Pestneb Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 any ideas when this DLC will hit? I'm hoping it will be the other side of November to Smash bros....
Tales Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I thought it was October? November is a bit too busy for me with AC and GTAV coming out.
FireMeowth Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 The Norwegian Nintendo website says late November. ...So probably pretty close to the Smash Bros. release, yeah.
Blade Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 My girlfriend got me a MK cake for my birthday (along with some Sheff Utd buns). I won't be seeing her on the day so I got it early
Aneres11 Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 Hahaha Dr. Bob - that killed me. Blade that is amazing! You have a cool gf! I wouldn't wanna cut that cake!
Wii Posted October 2, 2014 Posted October 2, 2014 My girlfriend got me a MK cake for my birthday (along with some Sheff Utd buns). I won't be seeing her on the day so I got it early Really cool cake. Now that's some special girlfriend you have. Major brownie points for that. Shame about the buns really. They spoil the photo. Joking!
Serebii Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 The Master Cycle is part of the first DLC pack for #MK8 and has plenty of horse power…
Wii Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 (edited) [TWEET]522417338726223873[/TWEET] Their hands make no sense. Edited October 15, 2014 by Wii
Phube Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 [TWEET]522417338726223873[/TWEET] Their hands make no sense. Wait... does that say May 2015!? I thought it was Feb 2015?
Josh64 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 It's always been May because I remember wondering why on earth it is so long away
Ronnie Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 From a business POV the DLC releases need to be far apart. The whole point is that they revive interest in the game and hopefully boosts sales. Releasing them too close together would be counter-productive, as much as we may want it.
f00had Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Reading Eiji Aonuma's latest post on Miiverse it sounds like the Master Cycle will have inwards drift (good news for @Glen\-i?) Glen-i Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 There are no words to describe how insanely excited this makes me! If it is inward drift, I'm gonna use this bike ALL the time! OK, except theme nights. But other than that, ALL the time!
Fused King Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 '(It looked so cool that I also want it to appear in games I work on)' Wow! I wonder if we'll see it return in the new Zelda.

I did wonder what that had to do with Smash Bros, were you hoping for his motorbike in the Wii U Smash? :p Wow! I wonder if we'll see it return in the new Zelda. I think it'd be really cool but I know a lot of people would be upset at the lack of a proper horse for Link so we probably won't be able to drive around the fields on it. At least we have this game to get our Master Cycle fill
dazzybee Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 A futuristic Zelda would be a nice idea if they got the world right; but risky!! Maybe as a second title on a console, or even a handheld version.
bob Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 I'm disappointed Link isn't riding a horse in Mario Kart... ...imagine that, Link drifting round the corners on Epona. Awesome.
Cube Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 I'm disappointed Link isn't riding a horse in Mario Kart... ...imagine that, Link drifting round the corners on Epona. Awesome. That's about as silly as using Epona as a weapon in a hack n slash game.
