Breakfast.

Dinner.

Tea.

Suck it, bitches.

What did you call dinner ladies at your school? Lunch ladies?

Ok, you win on the dinner ladies front. HOWEVER;

They were rocking out on LUNCHTIME not DINNERTIME.

Boom.

I have never heard anyone call lunch dinner before seeing this topic. Dinner has always just been a fancy way of saying tea for me.

Same.

Timeline aside. I sometimes consider the first thing I eat to be my breakfast, which could be a cheese sandwich at 1:45pm, in time for Neighbours.

But should they be put in order:

Breakfast

Lunch

Tea/Dinner (Or indeed Brinner)

Supper, which is what I normally equate to something like having cheese and bread (see Michael Caine in Muppet's Christmas Carol)

Well, at least we're all agreed that lunch is eaten at the middle of the day. :p

Some people are claiming LUNCH DOESN'T EXIST.

At least we all agree the first meal of the day is breakfast.

Of course, we shouldn't forget about brunch and elevenses either :p

Could be a midnight snack, on the correct side.

I was judging a midnight snack as something to eat before going to bed. But if you are classifying it as waking up in the middle of sleeping to get something to eat, can you really classify such a snack as a meal???

According to Wikipedia, Dinner is the main meal of the day, which was originally the first meal of the day, taken at noon.

What the fuck, Wiki?

Obviously, someone here has been going on and changing it just waiting for an unsuspecting member to go along and then confirm his ideas.
