Coolness Bears Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Major Lazer - Original Don ft. The Partysquad: Pump this out. No worries.
Paj! Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 This is blowing my mind. NSFW (probably. It's Peaches and Cazwell after all) I just love that Peaches is 45, yet doesn't give a shit, or make a thing out of it. Hey Amanda Lepore. drop it. grab it. jerk it. unzip me.
Dog-amoto Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 (edited) Went to see Yes in Manchester a few weeks ago. Even in my mid-thirties, I felt I was the youngest one there, but I love prog-rock. So been listening to a lot of it recently, including Peter Gabriel era Genesis. Won't be to everyone's taste but musically, it's really nice to listen to. Edited December 20, 2011 by Dog-amoto
dan-likes-trees Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Best thing I've heard in a while Duet so very well together. Sounds like something from the 50s. Fantastic stuff.
spirited away Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 One of Brian's most ambitious songs. Bliss.
EddieColeslaw Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Old, but learning this when I get home. Seems simple and cool to play.
Jon Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Favourite song of the moment from all time favourite band. Miles Kennedy's voice is unrivalled.
Goafer Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Fieldy is the reason I picked up a bass to begin with.
Diageo Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I personally prefer the Ben Lee cover because it's tonally more in line with what I'd expect a song called 'Float On' to be like. But that's just me ^_^ I loved the original and also love this one now. Thank you!
Aneres11 Posted December 24, 2011 Author Posted December 24, 2011 (edited) Having just watched Burlesque with Christina Aguilera it has made me want more of her. Her voice always amazes me no matter how many times I hear her music. For me it is the greatest voice ever. And purely for the amazing vocal - I hate when people try and attempt this on talent shows. Leave it alone please! Ha Her Stripped album is still my favourite album ever. The first 4 singles from that album were all so insanely good - but the album itself does not have a bad song. I love her Edited December 24, 2011 by Aneres11
Goafer Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 I love this live. If only the MC would fuck off. I looked up how much the other "singer's" midi guitar costs. Suffice to say I won't be buying one anytime soon.... Also loving this live:
EddieColeslaw Posted January 2, 2012 Posted January 2, 2012 I just rediscovered this. I don't remember how, when, or why I downloaded it, but it's the cutest song ever!
gaggle64 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Ah christ, this cropped up on Tumblr a few hours ago and now I can't stop listening to it. I've been through about 20 bad fan AMVs now and heard it in 5 different languages. This is what being a porn addict must be like.

Their particular failure is at this line... English:"mysterious as the dark side of the moon" Romanian: "and your right arm is as strong as a cannon!"

English:"mysterious as the dark side of the moon" Romanian: "and your right arm is as strong as a cannon!" Lets get married Coolness. Lets get married and live in a small house by the sea and do nothing but watch animations from around the world, write stories together and choke ourselves with mouthfuls of Harribo and gummy bears, 'till all our days have passed and all we have left is our smiles and the sound of the waves beyond the hill.
Paj! Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 People raise me that song as though it'll convince me Mulan isn't one of Disney's mediocre efforts. If anything it just makes my feelings of indifference stronger. The film (and that song) have NOTHING on Disney's best. Mulan just feels somehow hollow and slightly cheap/tacky after the first act. The storm/night/cutting off hair with sword/stealing horse scene is ICONICA though.
Paj! Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 (edited) You're iconica. (I've always really liked that song, btw.) (I kinda prefer the melody/rhythm of , but his one has more of an atmosphere) (Actually I just like bits from both the original and her cover better than other bits. His is likely the 'better' one though. Hers sounds like a cover.) --- This is my addiction. So bizarre, the ennunciation/ennounciation/that word. And the subject. The fact it's a virtual band, 'like Gorillaz'. The fact the singer is clearly a man, yet the main singer of the group is a woman. The hook is SO EUPHORIC. Apparently a hit in random european countries, should be here. ooooooooooh let me in or i'll get physical with you I like all the different types of animation in the video too. Aneres11 Posted January 8, 2012 Author Posted January 8, 2012 As January always brings a music drought after everyone has released for Christmas, I have been looking at some albums from 2011 that have slipped my radar. One such album is 'You & I'' by The Pierces. Really enjoying it! Favourite track from the album so far is 'You'll Be Mine'. The rest of the album has a pretty similar sound. Pleased with my find - should keep me going for a few days until I'm on the hunt for something else
Ganepark32 Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 One of the albums I'm looking forward to this is the new Silversun Pickups record. While I wait for this, I've been listening to the Seasick EP that they released a few weeks before xmas, and I love these songs: Not a fan of the Ribbons and Detours song on the EP but those two are great and give me high hopes for the new album
