SONOS have just rolled out one of the worst app updates I've ever been subject to – removing a number of key features and remixing the layout of their app, including removing the alarm function (which I use on a daily basis!) and volume control being a bit of a mess.

Just...why? :blank:

The US Supreme Court...

I've avoided the US news since it happened for this very reason. I just can't right now.

Had to take my wife to A&E last night with severe abdominal pain. They sent her home saying it was probably kidney stones, but we were back (after 2 hours sleep) this morning with now pain. Now they reckon it's a twisted ovary but she'll probably need to be admitted tonight to be safe.

It's going to be at least 32°C here today...possibly 35°C.
And at night, temperatures won't drop below 23°C.

Tomorrow it's going to be the same but with rain. Humidity will be off the charts.

I hate this.

Gimme -5°C instead of this ridiculous heat :(

"Good", he says.

It's hell for me :p
It's been raining for a few hours so temps are coming down, but they are still around 25°C. And now the humidity is through the roof.
IT SUCKS.

On the flip side it's already dark by the time I go to bed and still dark when I wake up. Going to be a long 8 months until that's no longer true 😭

That is true but that's no excuse for the sun not to.

Y'think that's bad? it's been over 37 degrees most days, despite me calling and telling them not to, but what are you gonna do?

Got a d-dimer test when I got there, showed a clot. Was on thinners for a couple of days untill I got this fucking horrible pain in my chest for about 2 minutes before subsiding then i get this feeling in my left leg like someone shot a molton bullet down it. All of a sudden all the pain goes away and it's like I'm totally fine.

They're giving me a 24 hour tape, if that shows nothing they'll put in a cardiac monitor implant that records for 5 years.

Said if I get anything like that again just call an ambulance.

I am very disappointed in my fellow Pennsylvanian for being a rat.

oh, and kinda related to the above situation and @martinist: on the morning of November 7th I woke up with chest pains that weren't going away. It got so bad that I had to go to the Emergency Room. It was not a heart attack (felt like it was coming on). No issues since, other than I had to pay $1500 for that ER visit.
