As such I've decided to start a new thread just to get the final details sorted, rather then trying to cut into the current one... What we know... What 1. Epic Weekend N-E Meetup, London. Friday 17th July-Sunday 19th July 2. Us, Parks, Hyde Park, Grass near London Eye, ReZ, Trees, Ridiculousness, Fun, DRINK, Jay, Penises(ReZ). Most importantly, more fun. 3. Specifically, the Saturday, for an epic day chillout/funtimes. 4. Epic 5 a side footie. 5. The meetup day is the Saturday, 18th July at 12.00pm. My plan for that day is to meet, sit, chat, chill and optionally drink in an open green area. Green area suggestions welcome, but currently probably Hyde Park(for ease of meetage due to local tubes) and maybe waterfront next to london eye like. If anyone wishes to go gaming at Trocadero or whatever, feel free! I shall not, I shall be doing the socialising on the grass sort of thing. I may bring my DS, though. Bring drink if you wish to drink! 6. Friday and Sunday is for people who wish to come and chill and do their own thing, those plans are up to you guys to decide, though. I'll try and attend and help people out with london if they need(tho i suck lol) but I can't guarantee. Hell, it doesn't even have to just be Friday and Sunday! Whenever you guys like! When Friday 17th, Saturday 18th, Sunday 19th July (The main focus being on Saturday 18th) Where The Cockpit, Hyde Park, London... (at least initially, no doubt there will be other places of fun) For people who might need to know; Piccadilly line. Victoria Line. Central Line. Circle and District Line. Bakerloo Line. Jubilee Line. A little more zoomed in, with the rendezvous spot circled... As you can see, I'd suggest going to Knightsbridge or Lancaster Gate tube stations in order to get to the location easiest. We shall meet at 12.00pm, in the middle of Hyde Park. Accommodation Now then, this is one of the most important aspects right now and the main reason for putting all this in a new thread. This needs to be sorted ASAP, seriously this is where the whole weekend can fall apart... Basically when you reply to say if you're coming can you also say what nights you'll be staying (if any) and if you need to have a place to stay sorted (I know S.C.G, The Villan and Dyson are staying at Hotel Bluey/Jamba). I am willing to book the hostel and pay the deposit but this means that I need people to stick to their word and actually turn up! Anyways, this is the hostel that jayseven booked for last year and so this is probably where I shall book this year, it's a "stone's throw" from Hyde Park so should be perfect. That's about all I can think of right now, I'll update if I've forgotten anything and when people reply to say they're coming Peace out. But bluey mentioned to me summat about Friday night, saying that I'd best stay somewhere else for the night because she and Jamba work night shifts. (Saturday is obviously still alright.) As it is I plan on coming down on the Saturday and leaving on the Sunday, but if enough people are planning on turning up for the Friday I might make an appearance. I'll be travelling up on the Friday, will arrive there late afternoon; managed to book a hotel just for the Friday night on the cheap, only managed it because it was mostly paid for in Clubcard vouchers but still it's cool as it means I'm there and ready for Saturday plus the hotel is supposedly not far from Leicester Square.
