How many memories does that one picture bring back! (click the image to enlarge it)

Me and my mate are just chatting on MSN about how long ago it feels since we bought one of them on there, also how we used to go out buying loads of covers and stuff for them.

Just thought I would share it, post your memories!

I have to say I've never looked at a Nokia phone and thought it looked good.

All that picture did was remind me that I had good reason for doing so.

Not many memories... since my first phone was a "Navvy", which I think was a Phillips [although I can't seem to find it] and my past couple of phones have been Samsungs'. I have one memory as I have had one Nokia phone.

:)

The Savvy by any chance?

Was my first mobile. In retrospect a rediculously tiny screen.

My first mobile, the Phillips C12 (aka BTCellnet U).

[Ashley beat me to the picture]

Only 5p a text and had some cool smileys that only worked if your mates had the same phone. Dirt cheap, I think they were buy one get one free so loads of people had them. Then Nokia had to steal all my mates :(.

Must've been. Had those "amazing" smiley's that only other Savvy owners could appreciate. One thing that pissed me off was the inability to save work-in-progress text messages [from what I recall] The missus at the time was most impatient when it came to replying.

That's a cool timeline. :D

Though I didn't get a phone until about two years ago and that was one of these

or something like that past down from my sister. I didn't use it for a year so got cut off T Moblie.

I downgraded for my second phone as I didn't get on with that one to a:

which I got for free and I love it. not that I have any use for it...

It is currently under my bed.

It says Gameboy and has a picture of a DS... fail. :heh:

They mis-labled the Multiscreen Game & Watch (Released in 1982 as the timeline says) as a Game Boy.

My first phone was a 3310. Then I've had a Motorola, Sharp (can't remember the names), A Sony Ericsson k800i and then a Sony Ericsson w200i.
