ipaul Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 http://www.politicalcompass.org/ Just thought I'd let you all know about this, take the test and it will place you on the political spectrum from left to right economically and socially. I think it would be interesting to post our results as well so I'll go first: Nice to know I'm nowhere near any of the three major political parties in the UK then =P Although I did answer all the questions with my honest opinion, I think it might have a slight left bias o_O
Dyson Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Interesting. Quite surprised how middle of the road I am there.
jayseven Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I did the test, and fuck the immigrants, I am the Dalai Lama/Ghandi. Roxor!
Goafer Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I am very tired and need sleep. So it may not be perfect. Stupid MGS4...
Mundi Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I seem to end on this website on a near yearly basis, get similar results every time. Though some of these questions are just silly :/
Haden Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Not enough questions on that but I guess I am happy at where I am but I think if I got into a convo with someone about my views on various things it wouldn't be the same as this graph. I see me and Dyson are the mature non hippie members of the forum lol
Ramar Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Almost at Ghandi level, go me.. Still unsure about my politicalness...
Daft Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) I haven't slept in over 40 hours but I can tell you this, most libertarians have no idea what libertarianism means so this is all a load of crap. I bet most people here have no idea what libertarianism entails. Yeah, if only it was as easy as this... Bollocks. The usual understanding of anarchism as a left wing ideology does not take into account the neo-liberal "anarchism" championed by the likes of Ayn Rand... Seriously, what is this? Ayn Rand did not advocate anarchism. What a total pile of crap. Edited April 18, 2009 by Daft
fex Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) I thought I would come out a little lower left, but hey who said middle of the road is bad!!?!?!? If anything I have a fair, balenced view. :P UK PARTIES 2008 Edited April 18, 2009 by fex
Wesley Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Ahhh, I remember doing things like this in politics. Anyway, I don't really need a compass quiz to know where I am. I'm slightly libertarian when it comes to social issues and probably middle ground with economic issues (going left with my age though).
Nicktendo Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Can't be bothered re-doing this but I'm very similar to the OP.
Eenuh Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 No surprise here I think, heh. So I guess my usual vote for the Social or Green party fits with my views. ^____^

Cube Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 So basically, the graph shows that I don't give a ****?
Raining_again Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 So basically, the graph shows that I don't give a ****? Long story short, yes!
Pookiablo Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I'm quite surprised, I always thought I was more of a centrist! I'm in the same league as Nelson Mandela it would seem!
Pyxis Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 (edited) A lot of the questions were ridiculous and out of the blue, was the creator of this a homosexual? I didn't really understand what the questions were getting at. Edited April 18, 2009 by Pyxis
